I had my doubts that it would be somewhat flimsy with the weight of my iPad however its sturdy and hasn’t loosened itself at all since I set it up. So definitely a good buy, and I move the arms daily to adjust accordingly.
It is quite fiddly to get it set up and adjusted, but once it is in position it is very solid and can easily support an iPad pro. I was planning to attach it to the headboard, but realised I would probably bang my head on the knob. So attached it to bedside cabinet and it can just be rotated out of the way when not in use…
The item is a ” what you see, what you get ” but its not long. Meaning to get the optimal range face to gadget, it will be really close to your face. Other than that, its sturdy. Had the item for a month now as of this writing.
This adjustable and foldable tablet stand performs well in several aspects. It offers excellent adjustability, allowing users to customize the height and angle for comfortable tablet use in various settings. The 360-degree rotation feature is practical for adjusting viewing angles, enhancing the overall user experience.
Moreover, the stand provides good stability and durability, made from aluminum to securely support tablets ranging from 4.5 to 12.9 inches in size, ensuring safe device placement. Additionally, the foldable design enhances portability, making it convenient for home, office, or travel use.
However, there are areas for improvement. Some users may desire enhanced stability, especially at higher angles. Furthermore, the stand’s aesthetic design could be more modern and appealing to enhance user experience and visual appeal.
Overall, this foldable tablet stand is a practical product that offers flexibility in tablet device usage. Its functionality and portability make it a useful tool for everyday life, particularly suitable for users who enjoy using tablets in various locations.
Love the extent of movement, 3 sprung lever parts with swivel stand and at clamp. Many positions available, I keep it attached to headboard in a corner. Swings over to use in many positions across 360 degrees at clamp and lift, right forward backward, up down all for your own favoured device angle. I found it convenient to add a stencil or page turner, more recently, avoids shake.
It does work and I use it regularly. The thing is: they do indicate the measurements in the advert, but the picture makes it look much longer. Result is there is no way I can watch this at the angle suggested. It works if you’re lying totally flat, but that won’t be for everyone.
It is a really good product and does what it says on the tin. You just can’t quite get the bolts tight enough to prevent movement. The movement is slight and the holder does eventually stop in place and hold, it’s just a little frustrating
As an avid tech enthusiast and someone who loves spending quality time with their iPad in bed, the Tablet Stand Adjustable has proven to be a game-changer. This foldable tablet stand has become my trusted companion, allowing me to enjoy my favorite shows, movies, or even read e-books in the most comfortable and convenient manner possible.
First and foremost, the build quality of this stand is simply remarkable. Made from high-quality aluminum, it exudes a sense of sturdiness and durability. I have been using it for months now, and it still looks and feels as good as new. The non-slip rubber pads on the base and arms ensure that my tablet stays securely in place without any worry of accidental slips or damage.
What makes this tablet stand truly exceptional is its adjustability and flexibility. Its 360-degree rotation capability and adjustable height and angle features give me the freedom to position my tablet in any way I desire. Whether I want to prop it up vertically for watching movies or lay it flat for reading, this stand effortlessly accommodates my preferences. The level of customization it offers is truly impressive and enhances my overall viewing experience.
Moreover, the foldable design makes it extremely portable, allowing me to easily carry it around when traveling or even when moving from room to room. It takes up minimal space and is super easy to set up — just unfold it and adjust the angle as desired. I no longer have to strain my neck or hold my tablet for prolonged periods as this stand provides the perfect solution for hands-free entertainment.
In addition to its functionality, this tablet stand also boasts a sleek and modern design. The minimalistic look and smooth matte finish of the aluminum frame make it aesthetically pleasing to the eye. It seamlessly blends with any decor and adds a touch of elegance to my bedroom setup.
Overall, the Tablet Stand Adjustable is an absolute must-have for anyone who loves using their iPad or any other tablet device in bed. Its remarkable build quality, adjustability, and portability make it an exceptional accessory. From binge-watching your favorite TV shows to enjoying a relaxing read, this stand provides comfort, convenience, and endless possibilities. Investing in this tablet stand has been an absolute game-changer for me, and I highly recommend it to all fellow tablet enthusiasts out there!
Pros:
1. Sturdy and durable aluminum construction
2. Non-slip pads to ensure tablet stability
3. 360-degree rotation and adjustable height and angle features
4. Foldable and portable design for easy transportation
5. Sleek and modern aesthetics
Cons:
None observed so far.
Poorly engineered, extending arm had to be forced in to the clamping base scraping the paint and scoring the metal so that I am unable to return the item. It might be alright if you want to clamp it directly in front of you but it offers very little adjustability or versatility to use as a bedside tablet holder.
There are better holders on the market, my advice is look elsewhere. You get what you pay for!
I still stick to my original opinion of the stand but the customer service is amazing they have offered me a full refund and to send me a new improved stand.
It is my opinion you can buy from this firm with absolute knowledge they will do there upmost to resolve any problems you might have.
I am therefore upping the star rating from one to four because if the stand is unsuitable for your needs they will do ever thing to help put it right.
I am in bed a lot due to chronic illness so this has been a game changer because it’s clamped and above me so I don’t end up scrolling all night!
I haven’t gotten the clamps to perfection just yet, that’s something I’m experimenting with,
but I have it to the way I want it and the pivot ball on the end where the tablet /phone is held is great for moving to the position you want to watch in. For me, on my side, on my back and I tend to fall asleep so much easier.
So far 4/5 for me. Only knocked off one star because I worry about putting my expensive tablet in the hands of a metal arm , if it falls, the tablet is screwed also getting the tablet into the holder is a two hand job which is a pain because the arm keeps moving.
In saying that I also saw some reviews saying the joints fail etc.. I’ve only had it a few days but for the price it really is good so tbh If this failed I’d actually buy another one !
I want to write 2 opposing reviews of this item. I’ll start off with the positives but do read my final paragraph.
I broke my collarbone and during the long time it took to heal, I wanted some way to be able to read in bed. This item worked well for me – and that is the 5 star rating I gave. I had something vertical behind my head, and this would be similar to a headboard, which many people would have. I fixed the device to that – but you will most likely have to work out how you want to fix it to suit you. You can then position the articulated parts and tighten a thingamyjig to fix them in that position. It was slightly awkward getting into bed after this, sliding under it, but worth the effort. I used it to hold my kindle fire 7 – this was not perfect because the spring-loaded tension of the holder was pressing on one of the volume keys at the top of the kindle. But I just accepted that for the duration of the time I wanted to use it. The device was safely held by the holder – I never really had any problem with this aspect. The articulation options allow for quite a lot of versatility in arranging it how you want it.
The end of my time using this contraption was not so good. One night, it collapsed on me. I had the habit of sleeping with the device in place over me, and this had not really been problematic. But eventually one of the tightened knobs gave in and even though the fixation to the headboard was still in place, the whole arm of the device pivoted downwards and hit me. It was an unpleasant way to wake up. Perhaps I had not tightened the knob hard enough, and for that reason I have given 5 stars.
This thing is well built, and it really holds its position well even without tightening the screws thanks to the springs.
The clamp is nice and wide and will fit all but the thickest of tables or head boards. It’s about 2 and a half inches (6.8 cm exactly) and will even clamp to spongey headboards if they have a solid board inside, though it will probably leave an indent for a while afterwards.
The arms are a light but strong aluminium (I think) and they do the job like any other mic stand, lamp or phone holder of similar design.
The clamp itself is plastic, but sturdy with some good strong springs. It’s 5.2 inches closed (13.2cm) and 9 inches extended (23 cm, a bit wider than the short side of an A4 piece of paper). This means it will comfortably grip an iPad across the width, or a phone and Nintendo Switch by its length (though you can easilly rotate the clamp to another orientation. It won’t grip a Switch or phone width ways as they’re too short to grip, so charging the joycons on the Switch won’t work as the whole thing is too wide to fit lengthways. You might be able to charge your phone through the slot on one of the sides depending on the model.
The thickness of the device should be less than 1.5 cm as the rubber grips might not hold it. A Switch is about the limit as it sits exactly flush.
I’ve had this for a couple of weeks and I have yet to drop anything on my face with it. Be mindful of storing it in a folded position, especially around bouncy kids, as you could easily put an eye out if not careful. I’d recommend unclamping and storing away when not in use, though I do risk it myself.
Actually for young kids it’s not recommended at all. There’s a few places that might act like scissors to little fingers if not careful, and squishing a finger or nail between the arm rods is quite painful, confirmed empirically. With careful use it’s no more dangerous than a Pixar style desk lamp.
It does wobble at slight bumps, it’s a long rigid object after all, but this subsides with a stabilising finger.
I keep all the joints slightly loose for easy repositioning, but you can tighten them if you find a position you like or have a particularly heavy device.
I went with white, it looks nice but black might be less distracting in the dark.
