Well packaged to avoid any damage (boxed and panels have a plastic tear of film to protect them). Running them in series to supply a Bluetti AC200P which needs higher voltage. Working well even in the poor half sun of Scotland.
Bought 4 panels, July and Aug 2023 worked very well at first but after a few months output dropped, probably winter sun, now in Med in June and get only 3 watts per panel, contacted supplier, said i have to contact Topsolar, asked for contact details and heard nothing from seller.
Edit After I posted TP Solar reached out to me and resolved our issue, fair play to their aftersales team, Thank you.
On a bright day I get 7 amps so quite impressive not the 9 I should be getting but still good. I will clean it and test again to see if I get the 9 amps you should get.
Not the highest quality panels you’ll find and even though they are 180W they are consistently out performed by my 130W glass panels in anything other than intense direct sunlight..
They are however flexible, more robust and considerably lighter. Mounted out of line of sight they are a good addition to my system and give good bang for the buck.
Fitted to our coachbuilt motorhome which has a GRP roof. So easy to bond on to the roof and follows the contours perfectly. Good output so far with no issues
i bought 4 of these to add to a camper conversion i’m completing, they fit great horizontally across a medium van roof (VW Transporter T6). Fro 4 panels the output can reach a peak power of around 620w (155w per panel) which is slightly lower than advertised but I didn’t expect to get the full 180w in the UK, I was actually concerned it would be much lower based on some previous reviews. Overall based on price, performance and size i would recommend these for any van conversion.
The reason for 1 star deduction is they are a little untidy in places, the silicon around the connections is messy and my panels had many small imperfections in the surface. Whilst this doesn’t impact usability it could hinder long term reliability.
I’ve got a few different solar panels (3) but this one I got is a lot better, with the power , how light it is to handle, Very flexible, so easy to fit with the holes all ready there for screws or small bolts, it’s that light I carry it about on a electric bike to travel everywhere, freedom
