I’d been struggling for about 5 months to sort out my PC’s issue of it just not registering that the GPU was plugged in. I sent the card away to be tested, came back fine yet the issue reoccurred. After one last ditch attempt at fixing it, I googled my motherboard compatibility and they recommend a GPU anti sag device. I bought this for all of 5 and got around to whacking my card in my case and taking out my spare one to give it a shot. Installation was easy as it gets, it fits nicely under the right hand corner of the card. Small enough to blend in, looks professional, seems sturdy. Fired up the PC and boom. Runs like a dream. This 5 piece of metal I got as a last ditch attempt did what no technician could figure out. 5 to save me from stripping my dream machine down and rebuilding it again. Excellent value for money if you ask me.
Holds gpu up fine.
The magnet is strong enough to be noticeable but not strong enough to hold up the bracers weight by itself meaning I’m not worried about it sitting right on top of my storage bracket.
The locking nut doesn’t stop the screw completely, just makes it so slightly more force is needed to turn it so I’m anticipating needing to adjust it every few months.
Decent product for its price.
I bought this as the anti sag bracket that came with my MSI RTX 4090 was not good enough.
What a simple, discreet and very effective support. My GPU is now perfectly level
Needed something for my over-engineered 3070 monster, and this does the job well. My card came with a custom bracket but it blocks some of the intake airflow, which is very silly.
This is very simple to use and holds it steady, removing all sag from the card. The magnet is not super-strong, but for me that’s a benefit, as I don’t want a strong magnet in my case for no good reason.
Overall this is a decent little stand at a good price, and gets four stars.
Should’ve had this sooner! My GPU was starting to tip due to a few screws becoming loose but once I got this, instantly became more sturdy and durable. Perfect for any rig. Highly recommended!
Nice and easy to use support bracket.
It appears that it is quite robust and has given great support.
Its adjustable to si was able to get the height needed for my graphics card.
This unit is a simple black design with a single threaded screw and a nut that lets you tighten at the desired height then place under the GPU to prop up the far hanging corner.
Pretty decent price for what it is so i’d recommend.
This is a fairly basic GPU support bracket, but it’s pretty much all you really need! It is decent quality and is currently supporting an older 2070 super graphics card in my daughters PC. Easy to use and install – definitely recommended!
does its job admirably well. Its adjustable height, magnetic base, and non-slip sheet ensure that my graphics card stays firmly in place, preventing sagging and ensuring optimal performance. Installation was a breeze, and it fits a range of card sizes effortlessly. While it’s not the most aesthetically pleasing addition to my rig, its functionality outweighs any concerns. A solid choice for maintaining the longevity of your GPU. Would’ve rated it 5 stars if the design was a bit sleeker, but still highly recommended.
Compact support bracket. I didn’t have anything close to the far portion of the GPU so balanced it off the PSU which means it’s holding up my GPU between the two fans.
This unusual GPU support bracket by upHere gaming measures 14 x 14 x 70 millimetres.
The bracket is made of precision metal with part of the cylinder being able to be unscrewed so that it can be adjusted to fit in the space between the bottom of your GPU and the case.
On the bottom and top of this cylinder is a rubber pad to cushion the upper and low part it is touching which is useful.
The lower half also has a magnet which is apparently to keep the cylinder vertically in place although I found the magnet far too weak and would not even hold the cylinder if I knocked it at all.
There is additionally a locking collar which locks the thread when in the correct position.
Overall I found this GPU sag solution worked quite well and looks cool too. It is well made and original although the magnet for keeping it placed is just not strong enough so I have taken a star off for that but for the price it is worth while.
First off let me just make this clear – yes, this is just a glorified nut and bolt.
Having said that, this product has a couple of tricks up its sleeve that absolutely make it worth the money.
Firstly, the base of the stand has a magnet in it and whilst it isn’t particularly strong, it is strong enough to help it stay in one place if it isn’t disturbed.
Secondly, both sides have a rubber spacer, to help prevent scrapes and damage to either your case or your GPU.
With GPUs getting bigger and bigger, but the support on the motherboard/case not getting any better I think we are now at a time where having a support bracket is not just a nice to have but a most to help make sure your motherboard is safe.
I have seen many horror stories where the GPU tore out the PCIE slot on motherboards because of the weight and this product 100% alleviates that issue.
At only 7 (at the time of writing) this seems like a very niece support that functionally serves its purpose and doesnt break the bank. Would recommned!
I have an RTX3080ti and it is a 3 slot beast of a card, so having something to prop it up to avoid sag and potential damage to the PCI-e slot is not really optional
This unit is a simple black design with a single threaded screw and a nut that lets you tighten at the desired height then place under the GPU to prop up the far hanging corner
You simply start at the shortest length, place it under your card with the long end magnetically connected to the base / PSU standaway then gently extend the rod by releasing the thread. Once at the desired length and position, secure the height with the screw nut. (making sure that the rod is only making contact with the plastic housing of the card, and not interfering with the fans at all)
It’s really simple and effective
It can come in different variations of height range, so be sure to measure which one you need and pick the one with the longest starting height (fully screwed in) that supports the minimum of the height you need… (when extended)
The reason for this is because being a simple threaded design where it’s possible to unscrew into 3 pieces (threaded top part, bottom part and nut), for maximum stability you would want the thread to be maximally engaged rather than minimally to give the best support for your card
Simply put, you want the least amount of thread exposed for the maximum amount of support
Price wise, it’s bang on I think.
There are more expensive options but they are usually overengineered for what you really need
The only potential issue I can see is that the magnet on the bottom is rather weak, so if not properly secured may shift in transit, but if you have an expensive system I’d imagine you’re going to be moving it around like it’s a baby bird
Solid product, right price (6.99 at the time of review)
I got this to stabilise my graphics card in the tower case i have. In theory it is a good idea, a strut as it were preventing your card from bowing especially when they are long and your PC is a tower type.
It works by simply twisting until the rubber pads on either end have enough pressure to hold it in place. Unfortunately this proved unsuccessful for me as the card didn’t have a large enough area to land the pad that lined up with my slightly irregular shaped case.
The theory though is sound and would work for most.
Cheap but useful solution.
The speed version of the review is “It works”.
OK a touch flippant, but lets be honest, it has one job – to essentially work as a strut to support the behemoths that we call GPU’s because the good old days of single slot cards and not weighing over a kilogram are probably gone.
It has two parts you can unscrew to adjust the height, a rubber non-slip base which is a magnet – so the first thing is – make sure your case works with magnets! I have …. more than one PC……. and one of the cases does NOT get on with magnets (the WIFI aerial stays put cos of Blu-Tac) but the others are fine. SO you basically adjust the height of this, slip it under a sensible location for your GPU and it helps support it from sagging and putting a lot of weight on the PCI slot (hence why a lot are now reinforced!)
And it works……..mostly. I popped it in and adjusted everything fine but the magnet could probably be stronger for my taste. Having said that, it works, I’d just feel happier feeling a jolt wouldn’t dislodge it due to the magnet. But it’s not exactly expensive so cost vs functionality, it’s a fair solution.
