The instructions tell you to wear it for a short time at first, then work your way up after a while. I first put it on and tried to wear it for longer than advised, and it resulted in more back pain than I already had. Now, I’ve been using it for only 20-30 minutes at a time and have noticed that my posture is a bit better already, and my back is not as painful. However, if you don’t use it continuously, I’ve noticed that your posture goes back to what it was, so I think you definitely need to keep it up for the time recommended to hopefully train your muscles to get lasting results. As others have said, it does dig in slightly under the arms, but if you wear something under it and don’t wear it for longer than recommended, it’s not too noticeable.
