This is a great little set for barbecues. I’m guessing it’s not made by the Von Haus brand as there are loads that seem the same. Aussi I have no idea what a grill mat is for – a bit of a waste, but the rest is great.

This is a beautifully presented grill set with every tool you could possibly need to BBQ like a pro. Each polished chrome utensil has its place in the handy storage bag, and they’re almost too nice to use!
Before this, I had a pair of BBQ tongs and that was it. They did the job, but it is so much easier using the correct tools for whatever you’re grilling. It’s much better for storage as well; now instead of bulking up my kitchen drawer all year around, everything is kept together and slotted easily in a cupboard when not in use.
Would make a great gift, highly recommended.
It has a wide variety of BBQ necessities, great quality and appearance, each piece seems to be sturdy and well made, it defo will make my summer cooking much easier!
This is going to replace a set of tongs, a fork and a spatula I have that are a bit worse for wear.
the instruments are fairly large in the hand, not unusual for a BBQ set. There’s enough reach on them to be able to manipulate anything on the grill safely and with ease. They look pretty sleek and come in a wonderful carrying back that’s pretty compact for the amount of stuff in it.
It comes with a lot of utensils and accessories, even some cob forks, and stakes for kebabs. If you don’t have anything and want to start BBQ’ing this is an incredibly compelling item that has everything you need and more.
The two seasoning shakers I initially thought wouldn’t travel well and would be a bit pointless, but they’ve got some silicone or rubber ends both sides so they actually don’t leak at all during travel, and they’re great for taking pre-mixed spice mixes, although I don’t see that you’d actually want specifically salt and pepper in them if you’re already grilling in a house that probably already has these.
It’s also stainless steel and is so easy to clean, i you have a dishwasher it’s even easier. It cleans up well in a dishwasher and feels resilient, and there’s pretty much no chance this will rust without significant neglect, which will be hard in it’s reasonably self contained carry bag.
I am not overly familiar with the Vonhaus brand, though have seen it on various products on Amazon. If this barbecue set is anything to go buy, they make great quality items.
This BBQ set is very good quality steel. It isn’t flimsy and overly flexible like some cheap sets. Every item has a quality feel to it, from the cooking utensils themselves, to the included nice little touches such as the corn on the cob forks, salt and pepper shakers and the skewers.
it is a very comprehensive set, including tongs, 3-sided spatula, which can be used for flipping and cutting food. Then there is the fork and a basting brush, as well as a cleaning brush with spare head. Everything is made of stainless steel and has a quality heaviness to them. The handles are quite long and are chunky, so are easy to grip. All the utensils have a hooked end so you can hang them up for convenience, or store them in the zipped fabric case when done with, which is a great way to store them and keep everything together and because it doesn’t take up much space when in the case, you can easily take them with you if going away etc.
In use, the set does what you want of such utensils and they are easy to clean up afterwards, though the small instruction booklet does say they are not dishwasher safe.
The quality of this set has really impressed me and are much better than a 30 price tag would suggest. I have seen similar sets in the large chain DIY stores for more money, which feel flimsy and cheap by comparison, so I have no hesitation in recommending this Vonhaus BBQ set as a winner and a bargain at the price.

If you like your BBQ you will love this set. Superb quality set with pretty much everything you could want. Stainless Steel construction so built to last. Everything fits well in the Nylon zip up carrying case so keeps it all neat and tidy for when you next need it.
In my opinion there are no negatives with this set. Excellent quality and VFM so 5 stars from me and a highly recommended. Summers coming folks! Get ready for that outdoor cooking with this fantastic BBQ set. If not for you will make a great gift for that BBQ person in your life!?
