My left ear is causing me problems and this system is a great solution taking the weight and irritability from my left ear. Super comfortable and great adjusting to suit my head. The sound is great and surprisingly great.

A must when a hands free microphone/earpiece is needed. Make sure that the connector complies with the phone jack inlet on your phone. Ear piece could have a bit clearer sound. However, adequate for the price.

I use this instead of a Bluetooth when I am around the house or out walking. I feel like I have more control with adjustments; and because it fits on my head I don’t have to worry about it falling off like a Bluetooth. I purchased my first headset in 2020. Somehow I managed to break it. I’ve ordered another one.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEdit: seller contacted me, offered to send another one for me to try. What an improvement!! My husband says this one is fine in the truck. He still turns it up all the way, (that truck is noisey) but he can hear just fine now. This is exactly what he wanted, and a great price. Original post: The headset hooked right up to my phone and works just fine. But (and it’s a big one) the volume control is too low, and calls can not be heard in the truck!! Turned up all the way, it can not be heard over driving noises.

Have no idea about noise cancellation. Actually, there may still be background noises, but that could be from the phone itself.

I use mine all the time. I try very hard to keep it protected in a zippered bag in my purse, and away from cat. There may be something of an issue with other people being able to hear me clearly, but generally I don’t get bad reports, and the microphone boom is right up to your mouth, so you should come in loudly and clearly.

Just remember that if you’re using this to talk to someone while milling around doing things that you’ll probably need a pocket in which to stow the phone. Too many times have I dragged the phone off a table as I go for the refrigerator or something. Thank goodness for the nice cases that can be gotten for phones, here reviewed elsewhere. This has only one earpiece, which you can choose which ear to put it on, so that helps with being able to hear sounds in the environment you might need to be aware of. I take it with me most places. It does get looks, but then people are constantly wearing those air buds or whatever you call ’em around, aren’t they?

Anyone who’s used iPhones long enough knows this – it’s just a matter of time before Apple cranks out a buggy IOS update that causes something on your phone to go wonky, and it may take them quite a while to fix it (if they do). In my case, IOS update 14.7.1 caused my then perfectly working Bluetooth on my phone to pretty much crud out – nothing that uses Bluetooth works properly now, disconnecting regularly, etc. I’m not alone – tons of other comments online from others who have had the same or similar issues after that update. Apple does the usual “really??” bit (they know). Anywayyyyy… I have to use a headset when on the phone, so bought this along with an adapter so that I can plug it into the iPhone’s charging port and use it as a wired set since the phone no longer has a plug for this (thanks again, Apple).

Works great, overall. I mean, it doesn’t feel like a $100 headset, but then, it doesn’t cost that much, too. Microphone arm is adjustable, as is the volume. Gives you enough cord. No cutting off – sound is not perfect but good enough, etc. Shouldn’t HAVE to do this because of a phone update, but at least these are here if you need them, and they work. Worth the price.

The first head set I received didn’t work, but the company got back to me immediately and sent a new one quickly! Thankfully the new one is perfect! Very comfortable and clear sound at a reasonable price!
Very pleasant company to work with!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersHaving worked in call-center environments in the past, I was familiar with how these headsets operated, only along RJ phone jacks on phone networks. This one, sporting the hybrid 1/8″ (earphone + mic combo) jack, was supposed to work with LG brands of phones, including my model. The primary purpose for me buying this headset is to use it as a hands-free set.. either while talking while driving or (hopefully) for recording better-quality audio when making videos on my phone. While the sound to the earphone worked and I heard audio playback, the mic was non-functional. Not sure if it was a defect or what.

I’m very disappointed in this product and hate giving negative reviews. I’m hoping that in a “call center” setting with different style plugs, this headset may work properly, but as it stands—they do me no good. Waste of money.

I’m an audiophile type of a guy. I know and understand how each of the “rings” and “tip” on a plug work. I backed it out “one click” (which sometimes fixes these issues), but still no dice. Does the mic cancel noise? Who knows, because I can’t use it. I would not recommend this product.

UPDATE: After posting this review, Wantek emailed me with troubleshooting tips and an offer for an exchange or refund. They were right on top of it. They were very prompt, professional, and courteous. After a couple of email exchanges of info to one another about the headset’s functionality (in my case), they voluntarily refunded my purchase in full and told me to keep the headset, with no need to send it back.. I’m adding a star back (from 3 to 4) due to great customer service and professionalism on the park of Wantek, despite my negative experience with this particular product.
