From the brand

The Magsafe part works very well and keeps my phone very well held against the device. Likewise, the charging works really well too. For the price, this would probably be enough. This device, though, goes a step further and combines a bluetooth transmitter, which allows you to listen through your auxiliary cable or allow. the car to pick up a radio signal broadcast by the device in order to listen to music from your phone.
It’s worth pointing out that most modern cars have this kind of functionality built in. So in a way, this is a product that I thought might have been obsolete a few years back. However, there were still many older cars on the road, and this kind of device helps to keep them there.
I often listen to music during long car trips, and this FM transmitter has revolutionized how I do so. The connection is consistently clear, and the variety of lighting options adds a fun touch to the experience. I find the bass boost feature particularly satisfying—it enriches the sound quality significantly. Setting it up was intuitive, and it fits securely on my air vent. It’s been a reliable companion on many drives, keeping me entertained without interruptions.
Magift’s latest Bluetooth 5.3 FM Transmitter is a significant upgrade for any vehicle, providing an array of features that enhance both sound quality and user experience. The device offers a stronger microphone for clearer calls and HiFi Bass Sound, which significantly improves music playback quality. It seamlessly integrates with most smartphones and supports hands-free operations through Siri and Google Assistant, making it a safe and convenient option for drivers.
The ease of installation and the quality of the FM signal transmission are impressive, ensuring minimal interference and consistent connectivity. The additional USB ports are a thoughtful touch, allowing for charging multiple devices simultaneously. This FM transmitter is an excellent choice for anyone looking to modernize their car’s audio system without extensive modifications.
Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂
Tired of those old cassettes, I wanted a way to stream tunes from my phone in my rather classic motor. This little gizmo did the trick! Connected straight away, found a clear frequency on the radio without fuss, and now I’m cruising around with a far more up-to-date playlist. Sound quality is decent, and it even charges my phone while I’m at it.
This Bluetooth FM transmitter elevates your car’s audio and charging capabilities. The latest Bluetooth 5.3 provides a secure and skip-free connection for calls and streaming your favorite playlists. The MagSafe compatible charging offers fast speeds, while the expert air-vent holder positions it at a safe viewing angle. The dedicated bass boost function enhances your music experience, while the large, easy-to-use buttons ensure effortless control while driving.
I was surprised by how well this device works. It took no time to mount and set up, and it looks great with its colorful sound visualizer. The Bluetooth connects easily and stays connected, which is a joy. My iPhone Pro Max attaches easily to its MagSafe charging area, and it stays there. What really surprised me was the exceptional music sound quality coming through my Expedition’s speakers. In fact, I had to turn down the bass because it was too loud. Podcast discussions also sound good.
I’m still not sure about phone calls. The person’s voice came through loud and clear, but they had difficulty hearing me because of break-ups. I have the unit attached to the vent on the passenger side (the shift lever on the driver’s side gets in the way), and my voice was too far away for a decent pickup. I’ll need to experiment with positioning. Recommended!
This is a good solution for those with an older car and a newer phone! Older car because they typically will not have built in Bluetooth connectivity for music playback or an aux socket. A newer phone because they will typically be Magsafe compatible.
The holder is straight forward to fix in car. Handily they provide two different bases, one suitable for square and rectangular air vents and another suitable for circular vents.
The strength of the magnet is good — perhaps not as strong as other Magsafe devices I have but strong enough for normal road driving.
The quality of the music playback is also pretty good, though as it uses FM frequency to playback it will never be as good as direct Bluetooth playback or via aux cable.
Recommended for persons with older cars who want to be able to play their own music from their phone when driving.
It’s a good idea but with cars now it seems pointless to have definitely for old cars
Comes with Bluetooth 5.3
Has hifi bass sound
Magnetic
Easy to use
Fm transmitter
Good and well made with a good quality design
I recommend
This could be a good solution if, like me, you have an older car without Bluetooth. It arrives in a neat, branded box and would be perfect for gifting. Works well and feels secure when in position on my car’s air vent. The build quality appears good – and the price point seems very reasonable.
This works really well. Great for older vehicles without Bluetooth. It’s connects everytime I get in the vehicle with no issues and works well. I have no interference on the frequency I have chosen and music and phone calls are good quality.
The MagSafe charger works well and my phone is secure on this. It looks the part on the dash and the RGB lights are a nice touch.
Overall a decent item and a must have for older vehicles. Good quality and good price.
This transmitter is pretty cool. It charges pretty well though I haven’t gotten to test it on a long drive yet. Installing and set up was pretty straightforward. The sound responsive visualizer is a nice little touch. I appreciate that the transmitter also include a bracket for cars with circular a/c vents, like mustangs or other sports cars.
The sound quality however is ok, you’re not going to jam out how you’d like but it’s perfect for casual listening or talk radio/podcasts. Call functions had the same effect, it’s not the best quality but it’s enough to get through a conversation without problems. I couldn’t expect great sound as information is being sent over bluetooth, then being converted to radio waves. There is a limitation with either the device or radio wave conversion techniques.
Initial connection was difficult because my area has a weak signal on the wavelength the device uses and sounds were fighting over the channel, but once I disconnected my phone from my car BEFORE connecting to the transmitter, it was fine.
This is a cool solution if your car doesn’t support Bluetooth and with less and less phones including a headphone jack, the old style tape with the aux cable technology is all but extinct now. Plus you get a wireless charger along with i
It’s well made with nice design. It has tf card slot too, which gives another way to play music, nice one. It’s firm and sturdy, the magnetic power is strong enough too. Highly recommend.
The Magift Bluetooth Car Adapter and Charger is a must-have accessory for any car enthusiast. With its 15W fast charging capability, it ensures that your devices stay powered up on the go, especially with its compatibility with MagSafe technology. The FM transmitter feature allows you to stream music from your phone to your car stereo seamlessly, providing a hands-free and enjoyable driving experience. Its compact design and easy installation make it convenient to use, while the durable construction ensures long-lasting performance. Say goodbye to low battery anxiety and boring car rides with the Magift Bluetooth Car Adapter and Charger. Highly recommended!
I needed something like this as my aux port in my car is damaged and it’s an older vehicle with no built-in Bluetooth.
This connects well and there’s no static or interference while using.
The sound is clear. I have not used it yet for calls so I cannot attest to that quality.
It only attaches to the air vent of the car, which isn’t something I normally want but considering the car I have it’s what I’ve got to use.
The mag holds the phone securely and hasn’t fallen.
So a couple things first,
this doesn’t come with a cigarette lighter transformer, (the thing that actually plugs into the outlet)
you have to buy one separately, not a huge deal but just something I didn’t realize was not included and it also doesn’t have a pause/play button or at least I have not found one yet!
So on to the review!
it has an awesome attachment system,
it’s got this little ratchet L angle arm that attaches to your vent blades, super awesome design, really ingenious way to attach it, I’m always struggling with adhesives and sticky tape and foam sticky pads that never seem to stay on and this is a really easy, reversible, clean, reliable way to attach it, why didn’t anyone else think of this??? LOL that’s got to be one of my favorite parts of this thing.
It seems to be really good on static feedback some of the other transmitters I’ve gotten really are terrible with static feedback to the point where they are actually useless, so far it’s great, it has a really cool sleek design, cool little light bar that bounces to the beat of the music, I like the little toggle skip feature on the side really easy to do while driving, you don’t even have to take your eyes off the road, just reach over and switch it, great safe design. I don’t have an iPhone or a magnet case to try out the charging/magnetic feature but seems like a cool idea, I don’t know how it would work with the weight it would put on your vent blades but who knows maybe it would be fine?
Comes with everything you need other than the cigarette transformer like I said but to me not a deal-breaker at all.
awesome price great quality I really like this thing and plan on using it daily, i will update with any new information or issues!
Cheers.
Pretty easy to install in my air vent in my sienna van and metal ring mounted easily on my Galaxy phone holds the phone over rough ground radio sounds great great does phone call grea
I got this to put into a 2008 vehicle that doesn’t have bluetooth. My vehicle has an aux port but doesn’t have a headphone jack so I thought I’d give this one a try.
This is the first one I’ve tried that has bluetooth, but I’ve had several other this type where they transmit an FM signal, most of them did not work very well, they just weren’t very powerful or loud and none of them ran off of vehicle power.
As for this unit itself; some pros and cons.
PROS:
-Bluetooth connected easy and has great range (at least 30 foot)
-The FM power was the best of all of the units I’ve had
-Comes with a strong magnet
-You can change output volume of the transmitter
-You can change channels on you BT device
-Air Vent Mount is well designed
-Wireless charging works
CONS
-The instructions are a little hard follow
-There is a single button the side that does everything that has to do up or down, like volume, FM channel, or music advance/controls which means if you don’t do things correctly, you end up activating the wrong function
– The magnet that goes on your phone is kind of big, if you have a case on your phone it probably won’t fit, I’m not risking damaging my phone by taking it out of its case just so I can get wireless charging in my car.
-It could be louder
OVERALL
This unit does everything it says it supposed to, the instructions could be a little better, but once you have it down, it is easy to use. I’m in the Chicago area and was able to find a channel on the lower end of the band that didn’t have too much interference. You are not going to get the type of fidelity with this unit as you are if you had a straight blueooth connection to your stereo, however if you are looking at device like this, you probably aren’t an audiophile to begin with so this will probably be fine.
For me I think what would have made this better is this should have been designed to be plugged into an 12v accessory outlet. Then have a USB port with at least 2 amp output for your phone. Yeah, I know that would make it lower on your field of view, but I don’t know this is something you need to look at. What may be an even better design, is to do away with most of the buttons except a paring button for bluetooth and just use an app and plug the device in a 12v accessory outlet.
Bought this for my wife’s mini-cooper. The previous one would lose blue-tooth connection frequently. And if I would start the car without her phone in there, she would have to shut the car off and restart to get connection. NO MORE OF THAT. This hooked up without any issue at all. It mounted so easily, and was very simple to get connected to bluetooth. The moment my wife is in range and the car is on — it reconnects without issue. Highly recommended — works better than anticipated. The magnet is nice and strong – and it charges the phone nicely. I’d give it a 6 if I could. GREAT — THANKS!!!!
This is a nice charger and transmitter for a car. The transmitter of this MagSafe-style charger allows you to broadcast your audio onto the FM radio of the car instead of just relying on Bluetooth.
For those with older cars who do not have Bluetooth, this is the wireless solution you really need. Simply pick a frequency that isn’t being used in your area (to minimize interference) and use this MagSafe-style adapter to broadcast the audio to the FM frequency selected. Then, you can take your calls or play your music over your radio without having to worry about connecting the phone via bluetooth.
In my case, I do have an older car with Bluetooth / Sync but sometimes the audio just won’t connect without resetting / re-connecting the Bluetooth to the car, which can be a huge pain (and a time sink!) trying to get it to work right. It’s nice to have a back-up option that just works, and this can be used for that option. Plus the little RGB LED light show is fun.
One note: Make sure that your car charger offers a high enough wattage output to be able to charge your phone at the fastest rate possible with this charger. (If you have a charger that is 18-20W with Power Delivery (i.e. – “PD”), you should be fine).
Additionally, it’s best to use this charger with a magnetic case to make sure that your phone doesn’t fall off of the mount. (It does have a little “leg” though that helps keep the phone more secured against your dashboard’s console.)
This is a nice product and I recommend it, especially for older cars.
I have an Alexa Auto and recently switched to a car that didn’t have an aux port on the radio (and no Bluetooth). It did have a cassette deck, so I tried one of those cassette deck adapters – but it made a significant amount of static.
I decided to try this magnified phone mount with an FM transmitter built in. I had a magnetic phone holder before – but it wasn’t a charger (and no FM transmitter). This easily grabbed onto my air vent and holds the phone firmly – but can still be pulled off without too much effort. I love that it has the charger built in so I don’t have to hook up another cable every time I put the phone there. I thought the FM transmitter was staticy – but I discovered that was because a regular station was trying to come in on the same channel. Although my area is quite saturated with FM stations, I went on the web site radio-locator and the listed vacant channels gave one decent choice. I switched to that, and all was good. (The included audio adapter goes from my Echo Auto to the transmitter.)
I’m quite happy with this charger/transmitter.
I do a lot of driving professionally. visiting sites for drivers and also going on the road myself when necessary. The ‘Magift Wireless Bluetooth FM Transmitter Car Adapter 15W [for Magsafe]’ has now replaced my previous more basic cradle that had the bluetooth adapter plugged into the power accessory port.
This kit comes with everything necessary to fit to a car/van; main unit , USB-C cable, aux cable and vent mount parts which I didn’t ultimately use.
The main unit has a magsafe mount, side mounted up and down switch to change the radio frequency and control audio source if connected via bluetooth, USB-C port, SD Card slot and AUX port for things like old iPods etc.
Fitting this onto my Peugeot Boxer I have long ago accepted that vent mounts don’t really work well, partly down to the fact that the vents are not that strong and they are awkwardly mounted (I tried this in my Tiguan and it fitted fine) so I used the mount of an existing windscreen mount I had and just changed the fittings which seem to be universally compatible nowadays.
In use my phone (iPhone 11 with a magsafe case) was held very securely by the mount and charged flawlessly, I found the unit connected almost instantly to my phone and the radio frequency very easy to change. The audio quality was extremely good with no interference at all. The phone call quality was also excellent. To be short and after quite extensive use so far I have found no issues whatsoever with any part of the device.
Though currently not available in this listing it was 24.99 at the time of order and I find this to be entirely reasonable, I’m hoping I don’t develop any issues but if I did I would happily re-order one.
Upon first use, one is immediately struck by the impressive sound quality offered by this wireless Bluetooth FM transmitter car adapter. It’s a relief to find that, unlike many other FM transmitters, there are no persistent buzzing noises or interference to contend with, ensuring a clear and uninterrupted audio experience during your car journeys. The clarity of sound allows for an enjoyable listening session, whether it be for music, audiobooks, or hands-free phone calls, which is a testament to the device’s superior design and technology.
However, it’s not without its shortcomings. A notable drawback is the magnet’s strength, or lack thereof, which is somewhat disappointing. The magnet, designed to hold phones, struggles with the weight of most modern smartphones, which might lead to a bit of frustration for users expecting a secure and reliable mount. It’s a small flaw, but one that can be quite noticeable, especially when the device is used frequently or on rougher drives.
Despite this, the car adapter does have some redeeming features, such as the much-appreciated bass button. This nifty addition allows users to enhance the lower frequencies of their music, adding a depth and power to the sound which can be quite satisfying. However, caution is advised when using this feature at higher volumes, as it can become slightly overbearing and even annoying to some. The unit’s compatibility with a memory card loaded with MP3 music is also a strong point, providing additional versatility and convenience for users who prefer to curate their own playlists for the road. Overall, this FM transmitter is a solid choice for those prioritising sound quality in their in-car audio experience.
The A30 Plus is a handy devise that links your phone by FM radio signal to the radio fitted in your car.
It then enables you to send and receive calls hands fee as well as play other audio from your phone through the speakers in your car.`
Set up was straightforward.
First connect the receiver/transmitter to the mount provided. The screw that clamps the mount needs to be tightened quite far to make it secure.
This assembly is then designed to fit to one of the vent blades on the dashboard of your car.
Secondly, power up and connect your phone to the A30 by bluetooth.
Thirdly, connect the A30 to an available frequency on your car radio. The A30 started at FM107.9MHz and this was available for me, although it can be tuned to any frequency between 88.1MHz and 107.9MHz.
There is also an ‘Aux in’ mini jack connection for connecting another device as well as a mini SD card slot which will accept and play audio files.
All in all, a handy piece of kit which would convert a basic FM car radio into a hands free phone system and media player.
I ordered this for an older car that can’t easily have it’s head unit replaced and wouldn’t know what USB or Carplay looked like if it stepped on them
For those that aren’t sure what this thing is or what it’s for: This device connects to your phone via bluetooth and transmits all the audio from your phone onto an FM channel of your choice – this means you can tune your car stereo into that FM frequency and hear the audio. It basically creates a mini radio station in your car, the source of which is your phone. You select the frequency so the best way of doing this is finding an FM frequency on your car radio that doesn’t have any anything on it, it depends on where you are, and then programme the device to transmit on that frequency – it’s very easy.
I have had battery powered versions of this before but this solution, a magsafe mount/charger/transmitter is such a neat solution that it is 5 stars all the way. The sound isn’t as good as using carplay but A) That’s not an option, that’s the point and B) It’s good enough for my needs!
There is a bit of a delay between the sound transmitted and what is shown on screen but that’s probably a good thing – its for music/podcasts not watching videos whilst driving.
