Very slim and very easy to use over the course of a few hours, I am really pleased with this keyboard and mouse set.

Both are built well and and comfortable to use/hold.

The wireless connections are flawless too.

So my trusty super slim wireless keyboard that I’ve had for 4 years finally died, did the purchase item again via Amazon and got a completely different product with clicky clacky keys and it was awful. Spent absolutely ages looking for something similar and this fits the bill perfectly. It’s comfortable, low rise keys so no stupid clicking noise as you type and if you are a touch typist you’ll know what I mean here!

The problem with it, and the reason I’ve given it 1 star is that it comes with a wireless mouse. I had no intention of using the wireless mouse because they are not as reliable as wired. On the bottom of the mouse it states ‘The mouse receiver inside’. No where on the keyboard does it state ‘The keyboard receive is inside’. I searched and searched and searched and couldn’t find it. As a last ditch attempt, I plugged in the mouse receiver, and voila here I am typing. Which means I can’t give the wireless mouse to someone else because they won’t have a receiver with it – a minor inconvenience but a niggling one none the less.

Oh and did I mention there were no batteries in it? I mean when was the last time you received something with no batteries in it?

A nice heavy feeling keyboard that makes a good snap sound when you press the keys.

On first inspection the keyboard feels strong and not fragile, like some can feel. There are no feet for adjusting the level of the keyboard but there is a ridge at the rear base oif the keyboard which performs the same function. I find this a good addition to the keyboard since the little feet you usually get tend to break off after a file. I also suspect this ridge contains a weight of some sort becasue the kyeboard really does feel like its heavy.

Its a full qwerty style keyboard with a numeric pad.

On the top edge there is an on / off switch.

The Keyboard is powered by x2 AAA batteries. The mouse however is powered by x1 AA bettery. I find this a little frustrating as you need 2 different sets of batteries to power them. (Why not just have all the same size battery?)
Like most wireless devices the USB dongle can be found inside the base of the mouse. I don’t perticulary like the shape and size of the mouse. I tend tio use another of my wiresless mice in conjustion with the keyboard.

    Pros:
    heavy keyboard
No adjustable and usually breakable feet)
    Good snap to key presses.

    Cons:
2 different sizes of batteries for mouse / keyboard.
    Small mouse.

Not all keyboards and mouse accessories are equal, by this model is quite good in use. It was easy to set up by just adding the dongle to my windows laptop. I have no problems using the keyboard and mouse and both are within 3 foot of my laptop. The mouse is relatively small but this suits my hand and I don’t go for a mouse with lots of buttons as I only use the scrolling wheel on the top. The keyboard is very quiet and won’t annoy anyone if I move it to another room. The angle of the keyboard feels good to me. Being able to put both of these items into a sleep mode is very useful to prolong the life of the batteries. I’m not noticing any difference and delay or lag between this model and my previous wired keyboard and mouse. It is odd to press the key to wake up the keyboard and I have to get used to that fact and know that the 1st digit may not appear on the screen as it was waking on the keyboard. I do not know this brand but I’m very happy with this product to date. I do like the bonus of a light that indicates number lock and caps lock have I often hit the caps lock instead of shift or tab. I also like the quick access to the calculator. I haven’t yet set up the mail because they can’t decide which one I wanted to open.

First thing to say – keyboard and mouse work exactly as expected. If you have used wireless keyboards before then you will will be able to install and operate this without even referring to the miniaturised but comprehensive manual. Otherwise all the details are clearly laid out.

The wifi connector to your PC is stored inside the mouse. It automatically installs drivers on being inserted into a USB socket. After adding batteries (why are they not included) you must remember to operate the on/off switches on both keyboard and mouse A little orange LED flashes on the keyboard to announce the system is paired. The keyboard has little rubber feet to stop it sliding about while the mouse has hard shiny plastic pads to help it slide about.

This a “mutti-media” keyboard which means it comes with a host of options, paired with the function keys. All should work with Windows 8 and 10, and it seems to me (why should they not) they work with my
Windows 11 PC too. Some of these keys will also work with a Mac, but the manual warns that other OS are not supported.

I must confess that while I will use features such as adjusting brightness I tend to ignore ones like opening email or a browser. I use a lot of different keyboards and finding features on one keyboard but not on another just leads to aggravation.

Both the keyboard and the mouse are suitably heavy, which to me suggests the plastic is thick enough to stand up to long term use They both feel well made and sturdy. When pressing the keys they seem a little “dead” but then I remember that I can no longer type on a manual typewriter. My fingers no longer deliver the force needed.

I think this combination of keyboard and mouse is relatively expensive, but I wouldn’t mark it down for that. The price is clearly marked. I award five stars for both form and function.

PS. I typed this review using the keyboard and mouse.

The keyboard and the mouse work perfectly, the Bluetooth connection with the dongle is smooth, with no problems at all.

The typing touch is comfortable, and the mouse is quiet when clicked. This is a full-size keyboard, including a numeric keypad and shortcut keys, which are convenient, so I often use them.

These require 2 x AAA batteries for the keyboard and 1 x AA battery for the mouse. I’m using rechargeable batteries, and it works fine.

It’s slim and lightweight, and the design is simple, so it fits all kinds of room decor. I’m pleased with this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well, the mouse is quie
