Hands-Free Calling
With Bluetooth in-car stereo, you can enjoy hands-free calls while driving and enjoy music streaming by pairing with your smartphone.
Only two issues are
1) ridiculously short cord. For something meant to be plugged in and hidden, the cord is so short, it can’t actually be tucked away. Also the adhesive provided is terrible
2) USB-C port. There is an adapter provided to make it fit in a regular USB port but for those using this to update tech of an older car, none of the older cars have USB-C ports. They all have regular USB. So I feel like it should be a regular USB with an adaptor to make it USB-C.
I almost bought a bigger wireless set up but this has turned out to be the right size sited on the dashboard.it does not get in the way when driving and the lip to the top of the unit is ideal for keeping the glare of the sun off the screen.
I found it really easy to connect and equally as easy to use. Having my phone displayed on the screen is ideal, especially for maps for navigation.
I love this thing..it works great..starts up right away when you start your car. Leaves off whatever screen you had it on last time. GPS is on point..1 second lag when skipping songs. It’s stopped playing music on me twice but says the music is still playing. Other than that it’s been perfect. Would def recommend
The 7-inch HD IPS screen should provide good viewing angles and clear visibility in different lighting conditions, which is crucial in an automotive environment. These features allow your smartphone to integrate seamlessly with the car system. Wireless connectivity is particularly advantageous because it eliminates the need for cables, making the setup cleaner and more straightforward. You can use voice commands via Siri or Google Assistant to access maps, play music, make calls and send messages, improving security by reducing distractions. Voice control is essential to improve driving safety. The ability of the hands-free operating system can greatly reduce the need for physical interaction with the touch screen. This allows wireless connectivity for multiple devices, not just smartphones. You can stream music from a tablet, laptop, or other Bluetooth-enabled device. Speakerphone via Bluetooth is another key feature for safe driving.
The 7-inch HD dual display carplay seems to be a powerful product for anyone looking to upgrade their car multimedia system. The addition of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as wireless capabilities and voice control, make it a forward-thinking option that is in tune with the needs of modern users.
However, it is crucial to consider the ease of use and installation. Also, make sure it is the right fit for your model to avoid any unexpected problems. The system seems to be ideal for tech-savvy users looking for a comprehensive, high-quality car audio and navigation solution.
After carplay is installed, the mobile phone does not need to connect the data cable, which is more tidy, and the car automatically connects, which is convenient and fast. It really works. Driving navigation without looking for a mobile phone to look at the mobile phone, directly projected on the screen of the car machine, but also increase convenience and driving safety, really great value for money.
I recently upgraded my car stereo to a 7″ HD Dual Display model, and it has truly transformed my driving experience.
The Touch Screen is bright, clear, and responsive, making it easy to navigate through menus and settings with just a tap of my finger.
The Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality allow me to seamlessly integrate my smartphone with the car stereo, giving me access to my favorite apps, navigation, and music right from the dashboard. The Voice Control feature allows me to make hands-free calls, send messages, and control music playback with just my voice.
It’s made my driving experience more enjoyable and convenient, keeping me connected and entertained on the road. Whether I’m commuting to work or going on a road trip, this stereo system has become an essential part of my journey.
This adapter works pretty well in my 2017 Audi A4 Quattro, but I could not seem to get it to link up with my 2018 GMC Sierra after a few attempts. Not a big deal as the Audi was my main target application. I stream audio (SiriusXM, Spotify, Itunes, etc.) in that vehicle while using Google Maps most of the time. All CarPlay App functions seem to work as well as with the USB Wired connection I used previously. The Audi system is sometimes balky to connect even when wired, and this seems no different. Connects 90+% of the time without any prompt after initial install/connection. This unit is small enough to fit well under the armrest out of sight where there is a USB connection in this vehicle. A nice update to the stock entertainment system.
Good addition for my old car which doesn’t have a modern system, it met my basic travelling needs and more. It comes with Bluetooth connectivity, able to play music and links to your map app. It can also be hand – free, able to take calls, etc. Very useful and easy to set up.
This works awesome. I got it for my work truck because I was tired of always plugging and unplugging my phone. When I start the truck it boots up and automatically connects. Definitely worth the money I paid for it!
I didn’t know these things existed, but a quick search on Amazon brought this up with good reviews.
When it says plug and play, it is exactly that. Cable connected my iPhone. Plugged the screen into the cigarette lighter port and that’s it. Slipknot blaring from Spotify and it has Siri! I called my husband from the car, it’s great.
Cost me 89.99 and it’s saved me spending 400 a month on a lease car. I’m made up!
Great for non tech experts and people who don’t have new cars, but would like some of the new tech that comes with one.
I’ve not driven with it yet, so I can’t comment on its stability, but seems ok at the moment.
Enjoy seamless wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android. The car play features a high-definition display for immersive audio and visual experiences on the road. With easy navigation and advanced features, this car play is a must-have for any driving enthusiast. Its compact design and user-friendly interface make it the perfect addition to any vehicle.
I bought this to use in a car that was shared by two people. We tried it for several weeks, but it just didn’t work out great because when both people get in the car at the same time, the device doesn’t know who’s phone to sync up with. I ended up using it later on my car which I am the only driver, and it works great. Every once in a while it looses connection but it’s not a problem reconnecting. It certainly saves time. Plugging in your phone all the time. Also, if you have a phone charger in your car, you just lay it on top and it connects quickly and keeps your phone charged at the same time. Win win.
