The Xrkuu Fridge Locks for Children have been a lifesaver in our household. Not just limited to fridges, these locks have proved invaluable for our integrated fridge-freezer. Our toddler has a knack for opening the freezer, which can lead to defrosting and a mess. These locks use 3M sticky tape, making installation straightforward. I placed one side on the cabinet and the other on the door, aligned them, and they stuck perfectly.
To open, you simply press a plastic button and pull. It’s easy for adults but provides enough resistance to prevent a child from opening it. Though made of plastic and not indestructible, they offer an effective deterrent for toddlers.
I also used the other locks on my bedside drawers, another favourite spot for my toddler. The transparent locks blend seamlessly with the freezer, while the white ones suit the bedroom furniture. The design is unobtrusive, maintaining the aesthetics of our home while providing much-needed security.

These work really well to stop children getting into the fridge, even sometimes me! Installation is easier and they have stuck on very well. Doing the job well, decent price.

I like that you receive two matched pair of locks, one white and one transparent as this allows you to add the locks on a fridge/freezer that is not white and would not draw attention.
They feel reasonably made and up to the task needed. They are simple in operation and require the two tags to be pressed for the lock to be opened. Closing the fridge door will side the pieces together and become locked.
Installation involves removing the protective paper strip to expose the adhesive which you use to stick on the fridge or door. Just make sure you clean the area well.
I quite like these locks but then did not work on my fridge freezer as the doors curve inwards and so you cannot securely attach these locks. If there was a degree of flexibility then then would have fitted but I suspect that this would compromise the locks security.
I have rated these fours stars as they did no cater for my particular scenario but the product I feel is good but it is not a complete waste for me as I can use these to secure drawers.
These are a good solution if you want to ensure that your little child doesn’t open fridge/freezer doors. You get two pairs, one in white, one transparent. I am glad they added the transparent one as our fridge is grey and the white lock would have been an eyesore.
They have sticky pads at each end, which seem to do a reasonable job.
Opening them is very easy for an adult, but the fact that the release button is split in two and both halves need to be pressed at the same time, make it less likely for a child to open it.
Reasonably prices, happy with them.
These were super easy to install; simply clean the area before you stick the tape on, leave for a few minutes to allow it to adhere and then off you go… A Child lock on a the fridge to stop any issues.
At the current price of 5.99 for a two pack I think these are great value.
They function really well. Extremely simple to install. If you possess adult dexterity, they’re easy to open. I have somewhat chunky fingers, and I don’t have any trouble opening them. Initially, I got them for our mini fridge at my office to prevent my toddler from opening and leaving the door ajar, and they work excellently for that purpose. We bought another set for our stand-up freezer to keep it closed because it has a slight gap at the top, which could lead to it not staying shut. So far, they have not broken when the toddler pulls on the fridge or when I forget to unlatch them on the freezer and end up pulling on it, so they’re pretty robust. I would recommend them. The only downside is that they’re not visually appealing.
