Yomisee Swimming Goggles 2 Pack, Swim Goggles with Nose Clip & Earplugs Anti Fog No Leaking Clear Vision for Adult Women Me
These did live up to the anti fog claims, which is always a plus
Whilst they did adjust, I did find them a little uncomfortable due to the positioning of the buckle to the back of the head.
They come with nose clips and ear plugs – personally might be better to just have the goggles as many people do not use nose clips or plugs – or maybe offer two options.
Not a bad price for a holiday set of goggles.
Stylish design with built-in UV protection at a good value price.
I ordered the Blue/Rose set of these swimming goggles. When I opened the package, I was pleasantly surprised to find each pair of goggles came with a nose clip and a pair of ear plugs.
By pinching the buckle at the temple, the goggle straps can very easily be adjusted to fit most head sizes. However, the VERY simple instruction card mentions being able to adjust the nose band – this isn’t possible because the lens frame and nose band are a single piece, moulded.
The headband has a clip fastener to make it easy to put the goggles on and take them off again – especially if you have long hair.
The photographs show 3 views: 1st is the natural view (no goggles), 2nd is through the rose coloured goggle lens and 3rd is through the blue coloured goggle lens.
The anti-fog treatment worked very well in a swimming pool environment but I’ve not yet had the opportunity to swim in the sea whilst wearing them.
The nose clip also seems to be very effective – I’m comparing it with an existing nose clip in my collection, although it concerns me that the band is made of rigid plastic instead of strong wire like my existing clip.
The earplugs are a nice touch but don’t fit as snugly as some other earplugs I already have, so I’d be concerned about their durability and performance over time.
I would recommend this product, even if it’s just for the goggles.
I ordered this two pack of swimming goggles as I am always misplacing the ones I have. As far as I am concerned they have a number of good- and not-so-good- points.
Good points:
The silicone round the lenses is soft and comfortable,
I like the field of vision, which is quite wide
They’re good value, at a a current on sale price of 9.99 they seem like a fab buy.
Less Good points:
I have no idea why they put a buckle-thing on the back of the headband, as it is uncomfortable. It is particularly annoying if you have on a swimming cap, which is compulsory in some pools.
I think that while the lenses give a lovely wide view, they do look a little odd. I don’t mind, you get used to it, and I’m under water most of the time!
I’m not super keen on the bridge of the nose. It is less flexible than previous goggles, and the black colour of it ( indeed the black on the silicone also) stands out a lot in looks.
That said, I still think you get a great deal for goggles for this price. They come in a plastic case alongside a nose clip and ear plugs. Guys, I wouldn’t use the earplugs, they look too rigid, and honestly I think I have about a dozen nose clips by now, I don’t need it! I could start a synchronised swim team!
I feel mixed about this set – two pairs of pretty good quality goggles for currently under 10 implies to me that their manufacture must be having a negative impact on the environment, because based on similar sets of goggles, this cost feels way too cheap. Certainly they come in a needless plastic box, which is destined for landfill, and come with unnecessary ear and nose plugs that are also plastic and likely to end up in the bin eventually.
The goggles themselves, however, work very well. They’re not the most comfortable, but at this price it seems churlish to expect more. They’re not the most flattering design, but we keep them as spares for when friends come to visit and want to come swimming or head to the beach.
I have tried these out in the pool and open water now and am pleased to report they live up to the hype!
They are a stylish design and fit really comfortably with easy adjustable straps. I have not had any issues with leaking and they have coped in all types of water. The highlight is the lack of fogging up. They work very effectively to keep visibility high.
Even better, you get two pairs! Making these great value for money. Highly recommended.
Review of Yomisee 2 Pack, Swim Goggles anti fog with Nose Clip & Earplugs.
A pair of swim goggles that arrive in a plastic case for storage, I presume they are for 2 persons as they come with two nose clips and two pairs of earplugs.
The items received one pair of blue, one silver goggles, the silver give a black and white sort of vision whilst the blue more natural colours, both providing UV protection, they have a round moving release clip to the rear to hold the adjustable silicone straps, this clip allowing the individual straps more angle of movement against each other allowing greater wear comfort to be achieved.
The eyepieces coated with anti fog treatment internally and a removable delivery film on the outside, once the straps adjusted to size the inside of the lenses should be immersed in water and emptied to aid the anti fog treatment, when fitted to the eyes the solid flexible rubber nose bridge is quite comfortable as fairly wide, on the rear of the frame each eye section has an individual extended soft silicone cup which seals against the face very effectively preventing water ingress without over tightening the headband, the rubber frames give rigidity, extra protection and comfort when fitted correctly.
Personally I find the goggles a comfortable fit in use, the water sealing very effective without being over tight and the vision excellent, the nose clip an added bonus as I like to go underwater but not that confident, the ear plugs are there if required.
For me a good product with just one reservation, the included instructions state “not for use below 2 metres” but do not give a reason why, does that exclude diving and reef swimming.
Should you have quite a large head then I suspect you might find these a little tight, I used all the adjustment there was and I found them slightly uncomfortable. That said, I realise that the whole idea of swimming goggles is to for an effective seal and these certainly do that, it almost feels like a slight vacuum when you release them from your face. I’m not a particularly great swimmer but I wear goggles to protect my contact lenses in the pool.
The product information pictures do give a pretty fair representation of the look of these but I still found the sheer colour and reflective nature of the lenses quite startling. However at the current price they are actually pretty good for what they are meant for, plus you get nose clips and earplugs thrown in.
These are good value for 2 pairs of goggles and there’s a lot to like. To be watertight though they need to push in and they are fairly narrow so dig into the eye socket. Which makes them a little uncomfortable for prolonged wearing. This was a problem for both me and my 11 year old.
Pros:
1. 2 sets of very good looking goggles. The silver ones are particularly cool.
2. Nose and ear plugs included for both pairs.
3. Nicely boxed and presented.
4. I like the clip fastening at the back. It’s secure and swivels and doesn’t pull hair.
Cons:
1. It’s a big one. Comfort. They are too narrow so dig into the eye socket. It’s bearable in the short term, but painful after a while.
I received these free of charge to review as part of the Vine Programme. Would I spend my own money on them? No, I wouldn’t because of the comfort. It’s a shame as I like everything else about them and the price is good for goggles of this quality.
