This photoframe comes in a beautifully packaged presentation box, with the words “be thankful” in large friendly letters on the side! It can be mounted on a wall but also can be placed on a desk, using one of the two supplied screw-in legs for support.
It comes with a clearly written and fully illustrated instruction leaflet that describes its functions step by step. The Photoframe quickly detected our WiFi networks and downloaded an update of Frameo.
I wanted to transfer photographs onto the photoframe directly from my computer using a USB cable but this is only supported for Windows and Linux devices and does not work with my MacBook Pro. However, it does support a USB-C drive so I uploaded photodrives from my MacBook Pro onto flash drive and connected it. I was impressed that it quickly detected all of the photographs on the drive and allowed me to select which photographs I wanted to download on the frame.
The pictures are displayed brightly and clearly with good colour reproduction. At night time (initially set as 11 pm but customisable), the display switches off automatically. It is important to power down before removing the AC adapter. It has an internal storage of 32 GB, with 28 GB available for photographs and videos. I uploaded 20 full-sized, 100% picture quality 20 MP JPEGs from my Canon R6 which only took up 190 MB so on that basis, this frame can hold almost 3000 photographs.
The display has a 1280 x 800 IPS display, with a 16:10 widescreen aspect ratio. It automatically adjusts its orientation to suit whether it is placed in landscape or portrait positions. The simplest option is just to upload all of your favourite pictures onto the photoframe and allow the frame to display them. However, this will result in large black bars on either sides if portraits are displayed with the frame is in landscape mode or vice-versa.
I therefore ensured that all of the photographs I uploaded were in portrait orientation. This created a far more aesthetically pleasing and professional result. My suggestion if you wish to display a selection of landscape and portrait photographs is to buy one photoframe for each!
Compared to the cost of printing an album of photographs, this frame is great value for money. It can be updated with ease and is a perfect present for anyone who wishes to enjoy images on their desk, sideboard or mantelpiece.
The great looking picture frame boasts a sleek design and can be seamlessly mounted either vertically or horizontally.
Its ample 1280 by 800 pixel resolution touch screen offers vibrant and detailed visuals.
With an impressive 32GB of memory, it has the capacity to store a load of your cherished photos as well as short videos. The convenient Frameo app facilitates effortless photo transfer from your phone to the frame via WiFi, ensuring hassle-free sharing of memories. Additionally, the frame’s intuitive touch screen allows for seamless customization of settings, including brightness and display duration. Moreover, the app enables users to send photos and videos from any location, fostering seamless connectivity with multiple frames. With its user-friendly interface and plethora of features, this frame stands out as a top-notch choice for showcasing special moments. Great item and good value!
This digital photo frame breathed new life into my cherished memories. The setup was surprisingly simple, even for someone not particularly tech-savvy like myself. The 10.1-inch touchscreen is intuitive to use, and the image quality is impressive. It’s now a focal point in my living room, cycling through a slideshow of my favorite photos, bringing a smile to my face every time I pass by.
Initial set up doesn’t take too long, you input your language, timezone, wifi password, etc. But then it goes to allowing you to send a link to friends to download the app to send photos.
It wasn’t that clear so I set the app up for myself but it was slow and getting the photos uploaded that way wasn’t great. I think it should miss this set and go to setting up with an SD card of wifi initially, as using the app isn’t the main way to add photos. You can only add 10 photos via your phone so it did seem a bit redundant and wasted some time. This is good for friends to send a couple of photos to it though.
Once set up and photos added though (I did this via SD card) the display is very clear, and you can set which photos you want on display, and the rotation length, brightness etc. You do all this through the touchsreen, so you do need to wipe it of fingerprints a fair bit but once it’s up and running it’s excellent to have on in the background.
Overall, a very nice digital frame, good quality images, but a bit fiddly to get started.
This digital picture frame has a nice display for images. It has built in memory so images can be saved to it from the associated App on your phone.
It is also touch screen will all settings carried out on the screen. Images are displayed as a slideshow and the time can be displayed in a corner of the display.
The app is easy to use and images transfer to the frame quickly.
I like that you can set a sleep time so the display automatically switches off between the set times.
I received this product through the Amazon Vine programme and this review is based on my girlfriend’s opinions.
I got this frame as my old one packed up. The first thing I noticed was how much more advanced this frame was with its storage and touchscreen controls. The set up was a bit quirky and it took help from my boyfriend to get my iphone talking to the frame so I would knock as star roff for set up and use. Getting photos from your is easy. Loading from a PC/Mac was ok but took a couple of attempts but worked. Using a memory stick is a bit awkward as the frane uses a usb c and the slot angle really means you need a usb c cable to connect a memory stick or drive (which is not supplied) to usb c or usb a female for older thumb drives. The frame itself looks nice and pictures look good on the screen although you may need to format some but the touchscreen controls are quite good. 79.99 is pricey but there is a 35% off voucher getting this to a more sensible touch over 50. If you stick with it you can get some very nice results from this frame
I’m quite impressed with this digital photo frame despite a few little qwerks. It’s a perfect size being just over 10″ so about the size of your average tablet although has a border within the frame which cannot be adjusted so your photos will display smaller than the full size.
The first time you power it on it will go through the initial setup and allow you to update to the latest software once you have it connected to your wifi. You then have the options to load photos via a memory card, usb hard drive or memory stick or via their app which you need to download on to your smart phone. The easiest way is via the app but this is one of the things I find a little qwerky as it’s not the greatest app to use and unless you pay for the more feature full version then you are limited to downloading 10 photos at any time from your phone. This isn’t a big issue but means it can take a long time to download a large quantity so you’re better off doing the initial large load via usb and then incrementally add new ones via the app. You can also set up multiple users who can all then download to your picture frame.
The inbuilt memory is 32GB and you can double this if you leave an SD card permanently installed, however I haven’t found the need to do that yet as the inbuilt memory holds plenty of photos.
There are many settings to play with that allow you to alter things like the time delay between displaying photos and how you display portrait photos in landscape mode which allows you to select the main part of the photo you want to display so it fills the screen. All of these settings are done by using the touch screen as well as manually advancing the photos, however this does leave fingerprints all over the screen which need to be cleaned unless you want them annoying you in certain light.
Overall a very capable device which I love having on my bookcase to provide different photos and memories throughout the day. Highly recommended.
It’s like a mini digital art gallery for my favourite photos and videos, and it’s so easy to use. The 10.1-inch touchscreen display is the ideal size to showcase my cherished memories. The 1280 x 800 resolution makes photos look sharp and vibrant, bringing my favourite moments to life. I like that it has Wi-Fi and lets me share photos and videos easily through the Frameo app. Moreover, this app allows me to invite family and friends to share their photos with the frame remotely. It’s a fantastic way to keep everyone connected and enjoying the latest memories together. The auto-rotation feature is very handy, adjusting the photos to the right orientation automatically. The only small issue is that the setup took a bit of time, but once it was done, it worked well.
I bought a digital photo frame for my father almost 20 years ago, but it only worked with SD cards. Things have moved on a lot since then and this Wi-Fi photo frame easily transfers photos using Wi-Fi via an app, SD card or USB and it has its own built-in memory all at less than the cost of the 20-year-old frame! The frame can be used portrait or landscape and with a black frame and white inner it does look like a photo frame. You start by setting up the frame, in much the same way as you would a new mobile phone: update software, set language, and location. Then download the accompanying app for use with your specific frame, which you will get a unique identifying code for. The photos are easy to load using the Frameo app but the leaflet accompanying the product is a little brief and lacking in detailed explanation of how to use the frame that would really enhance this product. Once the photos are loaded you can watch the photos or videos on a loop, so it is much easier to see them than when they are just on a small phone screen as is often the case. Additionally, you can enable any friends to send photos directly to the photo frame via the Frameo app and a unique number for your frame. This is something I have not done yet but intend to explore.
This 10.1 inch digital photo frame is equipped with a high resolution (1280*800) IPS LCD touchscreen. It is operated with a pre-installed “Frameo” app which allows you and your family to share photos and short videos (up to 15s for each video) using a mobile device in which “Frameo” app is also installed. This digital frame has a built-in memory of 32 G for storing up our photos and short videos. Its storage can extended to another 64 G using SD card. Therefore, it has enough storage space for sharing lots of happy moments among family and friends. This device can be a perfect present for parents and grandparents which allows you to share your happy life with each other anytime and anywhere in the world. It displays photos much more vivid than the printed high quality photos. It can play videos with sharp images and clear voice which allow the viewers to experience the happiness through the screen.
There are a few things to note before you order it. First of all, this device doesn’t has a built-in battery, so a main power source is required for its operation which stop It from using on the go. Secondly, it does not support data transfer using a SD memory stick (only support SD card). Finally, if this is a gift to an elderly person, please help them setup and teach them how to use it.
