This is a really nice LCD writing tablet. It is lightweight and easy to turn off and on (switch on the back) and to clear the screen (button on the front). The writing pen clicks easily in and out on the board. It writes on the screen beautifully, like you are using a thick felt tip pen. The screen is a good size. It is good quality and well made.
This is our second drawing board for kids, and in terms of the quality of the output, it is the same as the one we have already been using. However, it seems to be a bit too sensitive, as touching it with your finger or applying pressure with your hand might cause unexpected drawings to appear on the board. The board is made from plastic and does not feel very sturdy; it feels a bit cheap, unlike my other board. It is definitely portable as it weighs close to nothing.
Quality-wise, it is not the best LCD drawing board out there, and it is not the cheapest either, but it works as expected and will provide lots of fun times for the kids.
Fun little item to keep the grandkids amused for a while. It’s like having an endless supply of paper as they can draw/scribble on it and then push a button and it’s instantly erased. The screen isn’t really colour per se, it just has some sort of colour gradient applied to it so the same colours will always appear in the same location. Battery should last a long time as I think it’s only used to clear the screen.
I was hopeful that this rather expensive (15.99 as of 26.06.24) LCD screen would be markedly more upmarket than its competitors. I was wrong. It is not. It is exactly the same as competitor vendors products, just with a plastic non branded “superhero” surround.
The stylus is situated in a recesss in the rear of the screen, and comes with attachment device.
The description states that the product is pressure sensitive – I honestly couldnt see any difference in whatever pressure i used.
Its nice enough, just the same as other products available.
What great fun this LCD writing tablet is. It is a bright red with a stylus to use that fits into a slot in the bottom on the tablet to store when not in use. There is a button at the top, which when pressed, erases all the writing or drawings on the tablet and allows for a clear page to start all over again. There is an on off button on the back to get the most out of the battery that is inside. The colour that comes through on the tablet when it is written or drawn on has a gradual change in colour making it more interesting for a child whilst using it. It is probably not the best quality as the frame does look a little ‘plastic’ but it is a fun design and works very well. My Grandson enjoyed using it and it kept him occupied for a very long time. It comes in a colourful presentation box and would make a nice gift in my opinion.
These are great for any child who loves to draw and doodle. It’s good for encouraging children to draw as early as possible. The board can be taken anywhere for quick sketches on the go keeping your little ones occupied.
The board comes with a replaceable lithium disk battery already fitted and accessed under a flap on the rear. nice touch to have a security screw fixing. To the side of this is a little switch which is for “locking” and “unlocking” the screen. In the locked position, it preserves whatever is on the screen from being erased. move this to the unlock position and a press on the erase button at the front will wipe the screen.
Simple and easy to use with the included stylus pen. My only criticism is a I feel it is a little expensive at its current price point of 15.99
