I thought l would give these a go to chamfer the edge of the cut porcelain slabs, the ones l used out of the good selection you get, they done the job perfectly. Good value, I would definitely recommend

I bought these to remove some discolouration in a granite sink top. I was surprised (and of course pleased) by their effectiveness. The polishing discs have since been useful after re-waxing a wooden table top too.

Needed to polish sides of granite countertop after I cut it. This did the job well. Took a bit of time but that’s to be expected.

Pads did fall apart quite quickly but for the price that’s fine.

The description is a little confused and contradictory about the rpm range for this product. It appears to work well on my Makita angle grinder at 11000 rpm. The backing pad is stamped and rated at higher. I have no idea what the metal threaded piece is, I presumed it was so this could be used on a drill but sadly it is too small to tread into the backing pad.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI make little memorials from granite. Once I have cut the granite there is a unsmooth grey edge compared to the polished top. So I wanted to find something to polish the edge.
I used a variable speed grinder on a medium speed and used water, I think it works better and you don’t get dust everywhere. Same technique as sanding, work from lower grit up removing scratches.
The outcome the edge came out great. I tried a scrap piece and went over the top from 50g-6000g and used the wool disc also. The polish isn’t as high as the original, probably not quite half of the original. I don’t think that is due to the product, it’s more to do with needing a much higher grit.
Those reviews that say they don’t stick very well must be putting them on back to front these are solid.
I feel these can be used more for small areas and repairs. I have given them four stars because the backing pad is m14 thread for a grinder, but the add on part to use with a drill is too small to screw into the pad. Guessing it’s a m10. If your using a drill your need a different backing pad.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy original review complained that you don’t get what was advertised, but the supplying company quickly contacted me and apologised for the error. They offered me an additional complete kit free of charge, and allowed me to keep the incomplete kit that was sent in error. The way that my complaint was dealt with, along with the quality of the kit means that I would have no hesitation recommending this product, it made a lovely job of the marble cheeseboard that I was making

5.0 out of 5 stars Problem dealt with quickly and efficiently
