    I have just moved into an area renowned for rare bird species, and wanted a decent, inexpensive pair of binoculars to try to spot some of them! These fit the bill perfectly. I am by no means an expert, but got the hang of using them in seconds and they work really well at an amazingly low price. They are small enough to fit into my handbag, making them easy to carry around with me while walking my dog in the nearby nature reserves, and already i have managed to catch sight of some rare birds and butterflies – I may have found a new hobby! I’m not sure I would necessarily label them as being for kids – they definitely have the feel of good quality field glasses – although I suppose looking through binoculars works for any age group! I am very happy with them, and would recommend to a casual user.

    It turns out that binoculars have become somewhat better since I bought my first pair over thirty years ago. Who knew? These are really good for the money, crystal clear, and easy to use. They’re also really lightweight and that’s great as we’ve put them in the conservatory where my mother can use them to watch birds in the garden. As she’s got arthritis she needs lightweight, easy to use gear now and this applies.

    She’d actually recently bought a more powerful pair, and they’re great, but they’re also much larger and heavier. These ones give her another option if she’s sat around for a long time watching, and they’re small enough to be pocketable – in a coat that is, not a trouser pocket unless you’re wearing cargo trousers.

    For the money, they’ve impressed me a lot and they’d make a great gift for a youngster, or anyone who wants to watch birds or wildlife but isn’t going to do so for hours on end. They’d be good for hikes and the like as well as they’re so lightweight.

    Great compact binoculars. Comes with a carrying case so you can carry/store them safely.
    It is easy to use them and adjust them. I am not a pro in using binoculars and was happy that I was able actually see things using binoculars. They are quite compact so it is easy to carry them around. I must say these binoculars good even for children as my child enjoys watching birds in the park and now takes binoculars each time that we go for a walk.
    In my opinion these are great binoculars.

    For a beginner like me who wants to get into birdwatching, these binoculars are just what I need:
    *the instructions are clear and straightforward, giving step-by-step guidance on adjusting the diopter on the right-hand lens to set the focus for both eyes;
    *they are lightweight and compact so ideal for slipping into my pocket;
    *they are comfortable to hold and use;
    *12x magnification is perfectly adequate for my needs;
    *the focus is easily adjusted;
    * the range of vision and clarity is good;
    *they seem well made and durable.

    For 21.99 (at the time of ordering) these binoculars seem good value to me, and are just what I need for my new bird watching hobby.

    These binoculars from the LAKWAR Store come in a nice compact carry case with instructions and shoulder strap.

    The binoculars are 12 x 25 with a 16mm large eyepiece.

    Setting the binoculars up to begin with is a simple process of using the right hand focus adjuster for a clear image and then using the central focus to bring both eye lenses into focus.

    The binoculars are green and black and have a tactile rubbery grip to them which makes them easy to handle when you need them. There is a pivot in the centre of the binoculars so that you adjust them easily for each person that uses them.

    On both lenses are rubber cups which round your eyes and make viewing through the binoculars very comfortable.

    The image quality through the binoculars is clear and ideal for bird spotting or for when on general days out walking and hiking especially as they are light weight and easy to carry in a storage bag,

    The binoculars do not come with lens covers although this is not be required and would be a further hinderance when trying to quickly look at a distant object whilst out and about and they come in a waterproof carry bag as well anyhow.

    Overall these are brilliant binoculars and well priced for everyday outdoor use and I thoroughly recommend them.

    The first thing I will say is that I’m no expert when it comes to binoculars and just wanted a pair for those occasional country and seaside walks.

    These came in a pouch, which has a handy belt loop. They’re quite compact and not particularly heavy. Making them highly portable.

    They’re fixed 12×25, which given my use is perfectly fine.

    It does say they have large eye pie es,but I wouldn’t necessarily say that’s the case,but my knocks limited on these things.

    Build quality looks to be pretty good and the material feels robust enough.

    At 21.99, I can’t complain about the price.

    I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.

    The 12×25 Compact Binoculars are good for both adults and kids. They are lightweight and easy to handle. The folding eyepiece design is convenient, and the low-light vision is surprisingly good, allowing for clear views even at dusk. They’ve been great for birdwatching and will come with me on my travels. The build quality feels sturdy and durable. I can recommend them to anyone in need of portable and powerful binoculars!

    Nicely made pocket sized binoculars. 12×25 (12 = magnification / 25 = diameter of objective lens)
    Designed to be ultra portable, observing wide field, not the best for low light situations, usually for day light situations due to the small light collecting objective (25).

    For many bino’ enthusiasts this size isn’t popular, the 12 magnification being handheld, you need a steady hand, most opt for 8 or 10 magnification for adults. With these you also have to pan your view as your field of view will be narrow / focused, not wide like landscape. So depending on your needs, especially considering these are budget entry aimed, and for children, I wouldn’t suggest them for children. Don’t get me wrong the size is good but for a child they usually recommend between 7 – 8 on magnification. 12 x magnification amplifies any movement if it’s not totally still, thus making them VERY shaky if not mounted or supported. Thus not for kids in my / and enthusiasts opinions. Do your homework people.

    Above all said these are nice, well made, clear image (for the price), supplied with a case, and lanyard. As the objective lens is only 25 the image is OK (for me) but lack being dynamic / clear that a larger objective (light gathering size) brings to your eye. Usually 32 is considered the mid point.

    Nice touch that these are waterproof, but there’s no IP rating to classify it’s rating?

    The eye piece has a soft cup around it’s circumference which is good. Overall these binoculars have a good build quality and feel to them.

    IF 12×25 is what you seek, then these at this price is GOOD. 5/5

    The binoculars are compact, lightweight and offer a very clear view.

    The main focus is easily adjustable but the right eyepiece adjustment is a little too easy to change (accidentally) in my view. I think it would have been better for there to have been a little more resistance when rotating to adjust the right eyepiece focus, to avoid accidental adjustment.
