2024 New Waterproof Phone Pouch, Holiday Essentials
2024 New Waterproof Phone Pouch, Holiday Essentials Accessories Water Proof Case for Swimming Travel Vacation Beach Kayak, Cruise Essentials IPX8 Dry Bag for iPhone 15 14 13 12 11 Plus Pro Max Pixel
I had intended to take these on a trip to a beach holiday with me, but managed to forget them at home alas. So my first recommendation is to remember to pack them. lol.
Tested in the bathtub – I filled it with tissue paper, added some weight with a tin of anchovies (only heavy thin item I could find in our pantry), left it the bathtub for about 30 minutes or so. It’s a bit of an effort to unclip, open, insert phone etc, reclose, clip both sides again etc, BUT the payoff is that not a drop of liquid entered the pouch.
So, mine worked as expected, but I can see the main obstacle being the time required to set it up each time, so if you’re thinking of throwing your phone in quickly, removing it, throwing it back in etc.. then this probably isn’t the product. But if you’re just looking for something to keep your phone in for an entire day at the pool / beach etc – a decent option.
Item arrived as described in listing a pack of 2 waterproof phone holders.
I ordered these for a recent holiday abroad, they worked great for keeping our phones nice and dry around the pool. I thought that we could use these to take photos under the water in the pool but they fogged up and it made it impossible to get any shots.
That being said they did keep our phones nice and dry and we were able to answer calls and reply to texts whilst they were in the cases.
Although it was a bit of a challenge, I successfully managed to fit my larger iPhone into this waterproof case. Once the phone is inside, it is securely held in place. The seals are impressive, giving me confidence that it can remain submerged for a significant period without any issues. Always make sure to test the case beforehand by placing a piece of paper or tissue inside to check for any potential leaks.
However, keep in mind that this case is solely for waterproofing your phone while diving and does not offer any impact protection.
I’m really happy with these waterproof phone pouches. I went to siam park and used these to keep my money in as I didn’t want to take my phone. (everything is cashless so defiantly take your phone or you’ll be very disappointed.) it kept the money dry the whole time we were there so I highly reccomed these Thankyou so much.
It’s been quite difficult to find a protection for my mobile that didn’t get any water get inside, I bought and sent back 2 others and eventually.. vine. These 2 covers are really sealed, easy to open and close, and that is where I think it wins over other products, the closing mechanism is really well done, it seems to work extremely well. The size is big enough to fit an iPhone 15 pro leaving more space, and the touch screen still works well. I know it is also mentioned into the description, but I think it worth repeat: make sure to test it before putting your precious phone inside, with one of the previous covers I didn’t do that.. fortunately the phone is also waterproof, because it was literally floating on water after a bath.
The Razobws 2-Pack Waterproof Phone Pouch is a must-have for any water adventure. Its IPX8 rating kept my iPhone 15 bone-dry while kayaking and beachcombing. The clear window allows for easy touchscreen use, and the secure locking mechanism gives me peace of mind. These pouches are the perfect travel companions for anyone looking to protect their devices from the elements.
I ordered these waterproof packs as a replacement for one I had a number of years ago. The one I had was for an old, old Nokia so it’s basically only now good to stick in a locker key when swimming. I wanted something to use when we went away that would be a decent size for bigger phones & that I could still check messages, etc if needed.
I have a Motorola G84 5G which measures 16×7.5cm (6.30x 2.93inches) so it easily fits into the pack which measures 19×11.7cm(7.5×4.6 inches). My Hubby has a Nokia X20 which measures 16.9x8cm (6.65x 3.14 inches) so this also fits. We both use shockproof bumper style cases which stand off from the screen so found that it works much better if we take the case off before using the pouch.
Have given it a test in the sink & in the shower & it seems to be waterproof but haven’t actually used it on a longer submersion yet, although I have every faith that it will stand up to the job.
I’ve ended up ordering a second set of these as they are really useful for keeping cards, wallets & documents dry in a pocket or backpack when out in the rain & hubby uses one to keep his stuff in whilst out on his motorbike.
Tested these phone pouches in the bath and they work really well.
I had full function of my phone while it was in the pouch and had zero leaks. It’s a bit of a snug fit for larger for though.
Perfect for holidays or rainy days.
These waterproof phone pouches are a clever idea to keep valuable devices safe and protected especially during outdoor activities involving water and for days at the seaside or beach holidays or simply to free up your hands on a daily walk. Do take the time to do a quick test, especially before water use for the added reassurance and peace of mind but the pouches are actually very well constructed and do work effectively. The matching coloured lanyards are of equally good quality.
To be fair, I haven’t tested these pouches for water tightness as I really was just after something that I could put round my neck to have my phone available when my other hands were otherwise occupied. For what I wanted the pouches for these were ideal.
Check your phone size before ordering because my new phone is smaller than my old one, that wouldn’t have fit but my Google Pixel 7a sits in the pouch quite snuggly, to the point where getting it out again was a challenge because the clear part stuck to the front screen. And because the phone size was quite snug it made accessing the side buttons a little awkward. The locking mechanism felt secure, the touch screen function worked well enough but not quite as responsive as when the phone isn’t in the pouch. I tested taking photos and the results were clear, no doubt made better because the phone wasn’t loose in the pouch so the transparent window was taut.
I’ve had pouches like this before but they weren’t as nearly well made or as good quality on the transparent windows as these ones. I think the price for 2 is fairly reasonable at 12.
It is important to protect your phone when going by the beach, or anywhere near water – i just got this for this very reason and very happy with the quality of the pouch. Previous ones couldnt hold my phone which is heavy, and this one is strong and looks and feels durable.
My daughter had a previous one as she likes using her phone in the bath. However, after some time the plastic tore as it got caught in the closing mechanism. What we really like about these is that they have a totally different closing mechanism and this problem seems unlikely to reoccur.
In general the pouches are big enough for the iPhone, they seem sturdy – especially the re-inforced seams, and they do keep the phone dry.
They would also be useful in the pool or on the beach. They would be great to protect your phone from sand all the while letting you play on it as you want.
I would definitely recommend.
The two phone pouches come in a cardboard box with the instructions on the back. Inside are the two pouches and two lanyards. Inside the two pouches are more pre-use checks which is a nice touch – it basically tells you to check with a piece of paper each time to make sure it still works. The two clasps on the top secure the phone inside very well.
I would advise that you take off any silicone phone case/cover you may have on – it takes ages to get your phone out again as the it sticks to the inside! My phone came straight out on the second attempt without the silicone case.
Be careful of the claimed phone sizes it can take – my phone is only 6.4 inches (16.25 cm) and it was a snug enough fit – there is a bit of wiggle room to the width of pouch though.
I immersed the pouch in water with the card inside and it passed the waterproof test. I also took some of the photos with my phone inside the pouch, so it passed the touch screen test also.
So in conclusion, check your phone size, check each time you use it, but if you want to keep your phone dry, consider these.
Arrived well packaged and pack of two. Very handy if travelling or near water as these will keep your phone waterproof and clean. I will be using whilst I am away on the beach, near the swimming pools and whilst in the sea so I cans still use but safer as attached to you . Good size so fits most iPhone. Good value , I will be recommending
Great value 2x pack waterproof pouch. I have an iPhone 11 Pro (smaller size) and there is ample room for my phone. It would certainly cater for some of the larger phone models on the market. Each pouch comes with a lanyard.
I tested one of the pouches before use, submerging one in the washing up bowl with a bit of tissue inside. After 10 mins, there was no obvious leakage and the tissue was dry.
I do not open water swim or dive, so cannot comment on the durability of the pouches for this kind of activity, but for wet cycling, hiking, running, or even just walking the dog, you can be certain that your device will stay dry in the British summer!!
Price at time of ordering was 11.99, which seems well priced.
I have run the usual tissue test that you should do prior to trusting your expensive portable electronics encased in these, and both pouches supplied held up to a 1 hour test (30 minutes minimum recommended). The opening clasp is pretty much as standard compared to other similar brands and has a good quality feel to the pouch itself.

Current price 11.99 + 20% voucher bringing it down to 9.59.
In the box. 2 x Waterproof Phone Pouches. 2 x Lanyards. Instruction sheet.
Im not a expert on Phone Pouches but I know when something feels right. These two pouches are good quality. The plastic Pouch feels strong and the top clips feel robust enough to stand the test of time.
I have just tested both pouches having placed them in a bucket of water, weighted down and with tissue inside. Left them for a hour and pleased to report no leaks and tissue 100% dry. Good start!
I initially tried my Iphone 15 Pro Max (with a fairly bulk case on) and while it did fit it was a very tight fit. So I removed the Phone case and the fit in the waterproof pouch was much better. Took a couple of photos and all worked well inside the Pouch.
As to how waterproof these are at depth I cannot answer. I for one will not be using these in that environment for sure. In and around the Pool, maybe a boat trip or on the beach just to keep the sand out will be their task. Basically good protection against the elements for me, your usage may be different?
All in all these are quality Pouches. They feel strong and durable and the clip, watertight seals feel able to do the job as intended. As with anything like this there is the possibility of a leak so best to test without your Phone on first and subsequent use. 2 in a pack equals excellent VFM.
Razobws ‘two-pack 8.3″ Waterproof Phone Pouch’ arrived in a simple but professionally presented box, with clear instructions and information on it. The manufacturers appear to be Dongguanshi Haisikai Shiye Co. Ltd, China, and the UK distributors are Apex CE Specialists Limited.
The pouches claim to be IPX8 rated to a depth of up to 30 meters, however, no maximum immersion duration is specified on the packaging. The IPX8 standard indicates that the item is “Safeguarded against immersion in water” for a test duration of “at least 30 mins” and the manufacturer should specify the actual safety limit.
Inside the box are two pouches which look exactly as shown on the Amazon item page, and two lanyards. Each pouch contains a card with further instructions and precautions, which can also be used to test for leaks.
These pouches seem well made, and the locking mechanism simple but strong, however, the manufacturers do warn that prolongued sun exposure and hot water (above 60 C) will cause damage, as will “organic compounds or essential oils”. The manufacturers also “cannot guarantee this phone pouch against accidental damage, and general wear and tear” and punctures.
They also stress that the pouch should be tested for leaks prior to each use, by inserting “dry paper or a cotton cloth inside the phone pouch, after sealing the lock well, soak and shake the phone pouch in the water for at least three minutes” then “wipe the surface water off the phone pouch” and check if the contents are perfectly dry. And they advise that “if the phone pouch gets water and the paper or cloth is wet, please contact us via Amazon to replace the product immediately”.
I carried out a leak-test on both pouches, and both were perfectly waterproof, however that was just in a sink, at very shallow depth, and therefore with very little pressure. If I were using these at depth, I would test them at that depth prior to use. I am also not sure I believe the 30 meters claim, and I probably would not submerge these with my phone for more than a few feet and a few short minutes.
Size-wise, both a Samsung A33 (159.7 mm / 6.3″) and a Google Pixel 6 Pro (163.9 mm /6.5″), in their bulky protective cases, fitted without issue. You need to ensure to expel as much air as possible prior to locking the pouch in order to be able to use the touch-screen. I would also be very careful when handling these so as not to damage them accidentally. How long they will last will depend on how and where they are used. I also would only use these to protect the phone, not to take pictures under water—for which I would use a purpose-built camera.
At the time of writing, this pack of two retails for 9.59, including the current 20% off voucher, which seems good value.
The Item arrived in a Cardboard Box. Inside are the 2 Phone Pouches. One Black. One Cyan. Plus Lanyards. (Both Black). At the Top of the Pouch is Two pieces of Plastic which you push upwards to Open the Pouch. I am testing the Pouch by inserting my old Phone. I then Push the two pieces of Plastic back to where they were originally to close the Pouch. I am now going to submerge the Pouch into a full washing up Bowl. The Pouch floats on the Top of the Water. The Phone is Bone Dry… Almost. There is a small amount of Water Droplets at the Bottom but these may have gone on the Phone when removing it out of the Pouch.
I now try the Pouch with my current Phone. It fits, Plastic Case and all. It is actually possible to use the Phone inside the Pouch. Touch Sensitivity is retained. Pressing Side Buttons is a little awkward. The Best aspect of this item, is the Lanyon that you can fit on, which means you can now hang your Phone around your neck. This could be Great for a forgetful Person. This may be even more important a function than the protection from Water.
Instructions state you should not expose Pouch to the Sun for long periods of Time or use in Water of 140 F / 60 C. Instructions state you should test the Pouch in Water for 3 mins without a Phone in it to make sure it is not Defective. Also it asks the User to be aware of Ware and Tare over time. Personally, the Plastic Holes which fit over pins in the Plastic Lock or Clamp doesn’t look like it could it can take being used over and over, they look a little Fragile.
Perfectly functional. A little bit flimsy in construction. Should protect my phone from water ingress but i’d probably not use it for deep diving!
I will use it when cycling most in the winter to keep my phone dry!
Well-made phone pouches, nice thin material, best ones have tried so far, much prefer it over the plastic type covers, good value in the pack of two. They survived a half hour submersion test, without any sign of water intrusion on the kitchen towel I placed inside. They have the typical two lever clamp mechanism at the top, which appears effective, and the pouch itself is made of a very flexible material, making it easier to insert the phone. The joining seam is the smallest have seen on this type of case.
The phone case took my Samsung Galaxy A32 5G (6.5 inch display) without its case and I could operate the phone really well, pretty much like it was not in the case, though of course finger print recognition does not work. Having tested a number of these type of cases I personally prefer the ‘seamless’ type like these, without the border, as you can see more of the phone if you are pressing the volume or power buttons, This is made from a very thin flexible TPU material, unlike some of the others that feel a bit more plastic.
They will be useful in an upcoming holiday, for use around the pool, to secure the phone and other small valuables, as you can use them for anything that will fit, money, hotel access cards etc. They also have other applications in more day to day life, hiking, cycling etc. any activity where you might get wet and need some additional protection for the phone. From the above tests and looking at the general build quality, I am confident they will do the job they are designed for, bonus that the phone works better than inside other pouches have tried, as you normally expect a bit of a compromise in phone operation when in a protective case like this.
Not a great deal can be said about this item, fits my phone well which is a samsung s23ultra
Used in a small downpour recently on the bike and kept it nice and dry!
The phone pouches feel well made, they have a thinner locks at the top to keep the water out than my previous version but they work just as well.
I was able to fit my iphone 12 in comfortably and it did not take in any water when submerged. I was still able to use the touch screen on my phone to take photos.
Other versions are completely clear whereas these are quite nice in that they have a colour strip around the pouch.
2-pack of Solid waterproof pouches for phone, documents etc. (Come with neck straps)
With a reasonably thick bag section and quite heavy duty top clamp this should be ga great help for pool-life and boating etc. In my sink the one I tested stayed perfectly dry but I would advise regularly checking the inner bag is clean where the clamp will be applied as two clean surfaces are required to avoid problems ‘in the water’
These are very useful if you are liable to be caught in the rain or a wet situation. I’ve used these before a number of years successfully.
There are supplied with a test pce of paper to see if the bag is leaking or not. Also suggested you test every time used. There is a double swing clip at the top to release to give access for your phone. My sample worked well with no leak. Supplied are two wrist straps which clip on easily.
I tried using with the phone in the pocket and it was not a problem. It seems simple to operate and should last a good while. Check phone sizes as some of the new ones are large.
With my phone it worked well and I can recommend them as such. For what they cost it could save an expensive replacement needed.
