I like it. Good quality, size is small, easy to bring around and to locate. Cold air flowing when ice were added with water on the top container of this fan. A remote controller is included to operate it without having to go to the device.
I got this as a mains powered more powerful version of similar technology USB powered cooler.
The good:
– it really does work, when cranked up to maximum a very obvious cold air is blasting at you up to say 4 feet away, so e.g. you can put at foot of bed and your whole body is chilled.
– optional use of ice cubes helps. 700ml is about right for a few hours, certainly long enough to leave on while you get to sleep, the water runs out after a few hours but you’ve still got the fan cooling.
– has timer so you can set for a few hours to auto turnoff so also good for falling askeep hot bedtime scenarios.
Cons:
– it is mains powered not like the USB smaller ones, so it’s as flexible
– the fan noise is low on the lower fan settings but on maximum it’s loud. So at the hottest conditions you have to use noise-cancelling buds/headphones or put up with the noise
– could have done with a slightly bigger tank but it’s good-enough in truth.
I recommend it.
Appears sturdy, and good quality, whilst lightweight, with a compact pleasant looking design.
I only put tap water in, without cooling it, and without ice.
Once turned on, immediately cold air was emitted. And it is very quiet.
I think it’s going to be very efficient, and on hotter days, with ice added, just what I need.
We bought this for our caravan as it is difficult to keep it cool when it’s sunny. Even when it’s cold outside, but sunny, the van can be really warm and we need something to cool the van down, we also travel abroad and we like to keep the air moving around the van without having the doors and windows open that lets flies and mosquitos into the van. This worked great and dropped the temp down in the van by 3-4 degrees very quickly, also with it being portable, we can move it into the bedroom for a night and keep that cool. A great buy and I’d highly recommend it. We are looking at a 2nd one for home.
I really like the size of the fan, it fits comfortably on my sons chest of drawers. In the summer the childrens room gets very hot and difficult for my little one to sleep. This purchase does exactly what it says on the tin. Keeps the room very cool. I like the timer element as I dont want the fan on all night. Different modes allows me to choose how cool I want the room and I especially like the remote as I am sometimes to lazy to get up. Overall I am very happy with this fan, great value for money.
This Mini Portable Air Cooler outperforms other regular fans. Even on the lowest setting, the difference is discernible. Design aesthetics make it a chic addition to any room and the remote-feature boosts convenience. After ordering another for the bedroom, I must confess, this cooler has been a fantastic purchase.
