I cannot rate the operation of this as I find that none of my devices support video out over USB C even though I thought at least one did. The construction seems good though and not fondly. It’s light weight and would travel easily on your bag.

I have it connected USB3, since I think USB2 will not have the output to keep a good refresh rate. I see in windows 1080p 60Hz like the onboard HDMI does. No flicker, no artifacts, perfect image all the time.
Just don’t use it to play, this is a side output, does not have any kind of acceleration.
    For office work is perfect.

The USB to HDMI convertor is working now. I had some issues getting it going because I couldn’t load the driver. I had to contact customer service for help via email. They were prompt in their reply, and sent me what I needed. It still wasn’t quite as easy as I was hoping. Not quite plug ‘n play, at least for my Win10 system. But it’s working now. So I’m happy.

The picture and audio are are clear and crisp. Just like you want them to be. Note, if you use a USB 2.0 port, you might experience some issues with lagging to some degree depending on what you are doing. With USB 3.0 it seems to be fine, no lagging etc. noticed.

Useless to connect my monitor to my desktop that didn’t have a HDMI port. It was perfect this USB adapter. Let me be able to use my more up-to-date monitor with my older desktop.

I got this to hook up my fire TV to my PC. The only way to use this is with the OBS studio app which I found out was not compatible with my Windows 7 PC. I did not know this until I tried to use it. However, the computer does recognize this adapter and I will just need to find another way to make it work. Overall, It appears to be a nice piece of equipment and I will hopefully be able to use it with the Fire stick or use it on my Windows 11 lap top.

I ordered this to add a big monitor to my laptop. It works flawlessly. Very easy to setup and doesn’t heat up as much as others I tried before. The display is extremely responsive. It looks and feels durable. This is now a permanent addition to my work accessories. Highly recommended.

I was skeptical if this would work on my older Dell Laptop. It definitely works, just plug it into the USB port and it will load the driver and you will have a second display available. Performance is good. Glad I gave it a try.

Super easy plug and play way to add another HDMI port to a computer. Just plugged it in and connected the monitor. Windows instantly found and configured the third screen.
    Easy peasy.

My first impression was that this adapter felt like a solid build. This was ordered to replace my USB type C adapter, which was working okay-ish for about a month. One Monday morning I powered up my workstation and my 3rd monitor that was connected with type C adapter worked fine for a couple of hours. Not sure what happened but heard a rumor that one of I.T. Guys was looking over my workstation. Well, poof the adapter stopped functioning and screen would no longer be recognized by the computer. I ran so many troubleshooting tasks that I gave up. That is when I decided to try a type A USB 3.2 adapter. I was shopping for two alternatives one an adapter and two was a replacement for my mini-PC with at least 3 video outputs vs attempting another USB alt-mode connection. Thankfully, this one works perfectly. It took my mini-PC a few minutes to figure it out during which time I was hunting down another mini-PC.

    Pros:
    Great first impression
    Solid build
Works as if plug and play
USB A connector is a tight fit

    CONs:
    Not USB type C

This is for my workstation at work. Once I started using 3 monitors I noticed another jump in my productivity and found dropping back to only 2 monitors was going to reduce my productivity below until I adapted back to only 2 monitors.
Very thankful for this adapter vs purchasing a replacement mini-PC or having to go back to a mini tower and my nVidia Quadro P620 with 4 mini display ports. The Quadro is a great GPU but I prefer mini-PCs now.

Overall I would recommend and feel confident others will have a similar experience.

Add a laptop without the ability to have multiple HDmi ports Try to couple different dogs. That did not work with my laptop and was ready to give up. Hope and buy a new one to get what I needed to get done with it. Then found this product which allows you to have video shown through HDMI do your USB type a port works perfectly and gives me the opportunity to have triple monitors.

This USB to HDMI adapter supports up to 1080p at 60 Hz.

To get the highest resolution, you need to load the drivers. The USB adapter automatically loads the drivers when you plug it into your computer or laptop. There’s also a mini CD with the drivers. But, if you autoload the drivers from the adapter, the CD is not needed.

After doing a Windows update it installed the correct drivers and worked instantly without any special setup. The included driver disk wasn’t needed. I used it with a Windows 11 VM on Proxmox by passing it through since iGPU HDMI output doesn’t work well/at all. Very handy for this since it only requires a USB port which is easy to pass in.

I have several monitors connected to my laptop through a docking station. The docking station will accommodate only two external monitors, but with this upgraded Ablewe USB to HDMI adapter, I can connect a third. It works splendidly and the picture is crystal clear. I have used this adapter for several weeks and it has not dropped a single time. It was easy to set up. This plug and play device works smoothly in Windows 11. It is made of solid metal materials and the bright color of the device also makes it easy to identify in tangle of cords that I have next to my desk. All the video file types that I have used have worked without error. It is a bit pricey, but what you get is an absolutely reliable USB to HDMI adapter. I am very impressed with this device and recommend it without reservation.

I recently acquired the ABLEWE USB to HDMI Adapter to enhance my 4K TV setup and test its compatibility with my Dell laptop. I must say, this adapter proved to be a fantastic addition to my project, as it performed flawlessly without any complications.

One of the standout features of this adapter is its plug-and-play functionality. It requires no additional drivers, but if you want higher resolution, downloading the additional drivers simplified the setup process and saved me from any unnecessary hassle. I greatly appreciate this seamless experience, as it allowed me to focus on my project rather than dealing with technicalities.

You can connect up to six USB 3.0 display adapters to your computer to expand your screen space by up to six additional 1920 x 1080 displays if you so desire.

The build quality of this adapter is pretty solid. It exudes durability and reliability, and its robust construction instills confidence that it can withstand the rigors of everyday use.

To put the adapter to the test, I ran a couple of 4K demo videos through it from my laptop, and the results were outstanding. The adapter flawlessly transmitted high-quality video and audio signals, delivering a stunning visual experience. It left no room for disappointment, and I was thoroughly impressed with its performance.

One aspect that sets this adapter apart is its versatility. It proves to be an excellent companion for those unpredictable moments when you might need to connect your laptop to a display. Its compact size makes it incredibly convenient to carry around, and I have already decided to include it in my go bag for those “just in case” situations. This adapter provides peace of mind, ensuring that you are always prepared to connect your devices wherever you go.
