This is a game changer, no more insects coming through the open window as you vent the air conditioning hose. Clever use of self adhesive Velcro means you can actually close the window but leave the kit in place if you either aren’t going to use the air con machine for a while or if you’re going away.
It took no more than 15 minutes to install and is still in place a month later despite the wind and rain that we’ve had.
Quality is impressive too, especially for the price.
With over 2 weeks of use in all kinds of weather this window seal kit is holding up really well. This includes a few rainy days and after inspecting the seal it was dry and doing it’s job really well.
The installation is very straightforward – All you need is a pair of scissors to cut the adhesive velcro to length while sticking it to the window frame.
Overall very satisfied with the product and can now look forward to staying cool in the hot summer months!
I got this is preparation of the forthcoming summer . Last year I used my Air con without such a think . The metrical seems to be of good quality . The fabric feels strong and very smooth . It comes with a Velcro adhesive tape that you use to attach and take off the thing off . Its very easy to install , you just peal the tape and use the Velcro part to put it and undo it . The design is well thought off as it lets pipe relay on the edge of the window rather than hanging on the air . This helps avoid having the heavy pipe pulling the fabric and sealer a way which could cause a leak for the hot air that you may not see . Its colour matches my white windows perfectly as most of UK home windows . It made a massive different to look of the windows as well as the cooling performance hence your energy consumption. Highly recommend solution, but I cant yet comment on durability .
Really happy with the product, does the job of keeping the cats in and the hot air out. The Velcro is strong and it was really easy to put together. Works great on our small window.
I just got my air con and this window kit works really well with it. Keeps the air con end sitting in the zips perfectly, doesn’t move. Also keeps the rain out really well. I’ve had no issues with this produc
Creates a great seal, can get fiddly but works well when you get the hang of it – but that’s the product style not the product.
Been a week and still held in place. Some small gaps can be sealed with tape.
This arrived earlier and was installed in about 20 minutes. Very simple to do, just take your time and wipe down the window frame well to ensure the product sticks well.
The vent kit works as shown, and stops warm air getting in through the open window, and lets you close the window should you be heading out, or if the weather turns a bit wet.
