Bought this to make a water feature in the garden really pleased with it it’s powerful and has 4 different nozzles to create different water sprays the solar panel is glass which is good

My deck bowl water feature is 50cm in diameter and 14cm deep. I wanted a surface ripple effect rather than a fountain, mainly to deter mosquitoes from using it as a breeding pool. This kit does the job well. It arrived promptly, was easy to assemble and works as soon as it’s sunny. It does need bright sunshine to work effectively but we haven’t used any of the fountain attachments as we wanted a surface ripple effect which it manages even on cloudy days. As it turned out I already had something that likes making a ripple effect in the bowl …. but the solar one keeps going all day and doesn’t make the kitchen floor wet!
Great item works a treat. Good value for money. Only downside is the cable isn’t very long so limited to where you can position the panel to obtain maximum sunshine.
Bought this to use in a smallish bowl to create a water feature. It works admirably well. Obviously only operates to its full capacity when in direct sunlight but continues to work well as long as the light level is high enough.Good product but could do with a longer cable from the solar panel 5 stars.
The product does the job, however it only works effectively on bright sunny days. On days that are overcast, yet still are light, it tends to not work as effectively and is not as powerful!
It is really easy and simple to set up. I am using mine on a bird bath (approx 40cm) with some pebbles, and this is an ideal size
I added this Fountain Pump to a bird bath. Before this very few birds came to the garden. Since adding the fountain the garden has been inundated with small birds enjoying drinking and bathing in the bath. I use the nozzle to spray the water sideways and the birds seem to enjoy it being calmer. Great watching them out my conservatory window. Negatives are it does not work as well on dull days and for best results the solar panel needs to face the sun. I’m thinking of adding a solar tracker to the panel.
It’s really good works all good water height is quite decent about 2 feet.
I just set it up once and it turns on automatically when it’s day as sun hits water pressure rises.
used in a bird bath to help keep the water moving and fresh. does a good job and looks ok, just need to keep the tray topped up and clean the pump regularly
This item is made in China (as usual it seems!) and when I unpacked it I thought I may have been ‘done’. The pump is so tiny, just about the size of a matchbox, that it seems impossible that it would be able to produce any water pressure, especially as the solar array is also small (about 26 sq. inches). However I set it up, and amazingly – albeit in the strongest June sunshine – it produced a light cascade extending to about 10 inches high and gave a sound of water movement. Any cloud and it will stop working as there is no battery in the circuit to retain power. If you only need a light water movement & don’t want to spend much money then this does do that but anything more you might consider one of the more powerful solar pumps if you need more head pressure and volume. Really difficult to complain at just over 20 so 4 stars.
Only works in full sun any cloud passing and it slows to a stop so a back up is needed for overcast darker days. Comes with a few different heads so you can use what suits you. Not long enough lead to put on top on my fence, easy to install
Bought for a small pond. Comes with a few tops for different spray patterns. If the solar panel is in bright sun it sprays over 2 feet high. creates nice ripples. Don’t expect huge amounts of water to be moved about, it is a fairly small unit. Nice for a little pond however to create motion on the surface.

After a quick failure of another make of solar fountain, we plumped for this one as I liked the idea of the glass solar array. It works really well. We’ve put it into an wide planter and made a water feature of it. We didn’t use the roses (different spray attachments) as we thought it work better for us without. To confirm the instructions, it only works in sunlight, keep that in mind and we think you’ll be happy with it. So far, so good. Would recommend.
