I ordered this and thought the size was pretty decent for my lawn looks like a showpiece and serves a very good puddle for birds to come and feed especially during these summers all in all I absolutely adore this mini feeder thank you Amazo
This little solar fountain is really lovely. It’s the perfect size to have in any garden, I mean, who doesn’t love listening to the sound of running water? It’s good quality for the price, and was really easy to put together. All I need now is the sunlight.
The fountain is extremely lightweight, if you are going to put it in an existing bird bath, I would recommend adding pebbles to the bottom layer to keep it from floating or being blown over.
Solar Cell is just a basic panel, there is no frame around the edge but worked well, just be aware you will need to find a way to prop it up or attach it to something, I used clear plastic pegs to peg it to a nearby wire bird feeder.
Once it was weighed down and horizontal, the fountain worked really well, with a light tinkling sound as the water fell through the holes all around the edge back into the water.
The water pump doesn’t have any form of filter on the intake so it might clog up over time but it is easy to un-connect from the water tower in the middle and clean.
It doesn’t work with bright daylight, it needs sunshine to work.
So far it works well , when the solar cell is exposed to sunshine the pump starts immediately.
