This review is for the Andizun 1.5M HDMI cable – it seems like there is now a monitor that has replaced this product link.
The HDMI cable functions as expected, feels reasonably strong for a non-braided cable. Seems to be decently built with gold plated connectors rather than silver connectors, so this looks to be good quality.
I liked this HDMI cable for its high speed and good length. The cable is strong and durable and has a real quality about it. The end connectors hold firm and secure in the HDMI ports and function well and I am impressed with their performance. Very happy.
Not much can be said about HDMI cables other then they “work” or they “don’t” – i got this as my firecube in my bedroom is connected by a 1m wire and its JUST too short so its kind of tight and slips out – as this cable is 1.5m (although it seems more like 1.45m) it is better for my needs.
I cannot test the “3d formats” as my 3d tv broke a long time ago, but it works well in 4k HDR images on my tv. It seems to be made from a well made material that will last me a long time
Good quality lead, both in build and quality of signal. I have slowly been replacing my old HDMI leads, in the past they said it didn’t matter about the quality of the lead as all worked just as well. However with new devices being capable of displaying greater levels of definition, the quality of the lead does now matter. I tested this lead between my 3k laptop and 4k tv, the result was excellent, no image distortion or frame drop off. Unlike some leads this one is not nylon sheathed lead, but rather rubber 8m in thickness. As a result of the thickness this lead is not as flexible as some, but that is a small price for the quality.
The cable is high quality with a strong bond to the connectors. Sound and image are without distortion and works well between my docking station and monitor for connecting my laptop at my desk.
This is a thick and not very flexible HDMI cable. The HDMI plugs themselves are very well sealed to the cable, so I would expect a long life from this accessory.
At 1.5 m length, the cable is fine for devices that are close to your TV or monitor, but you probably want something longer and more flexible for attaching, say, a laptop and a projector.
This review is for a 1.5m HDMI cable, branded Andizun.
Construction of the cable is reasonable. It doesn’t use a braided cable, but has aluminium shrouds and moulded strain reliefs with convenient small ridges to help with grip when plugging and unplugging. Connectors are gold plated.
The shrouds have the HDMI version and 4K printed on them, which I think is very convenient – in the future, I can tell at a glance what the cable spec is, so if I replace either the TV or connected device, I can quickly tell if I need a new cable. I think all manufacturers should do this.
It doesn’t look like the official HDMI logo, so suspect this isn’t licensed or certified, but I’ve had no issues connecting my games console to the TV.
I’m using this HDMI cable to connect a Sony Playstation 5 Slim to my Samsung RU8000 HDR 4K UHD LED TV. It is certainly a much thicker cable and the plugs are more substantial than the cable supplied with the PS5 Slim.
Because it is a thicker cable there is a little less flexibility than other cables, but I actually found it to be a little longer than the PS5 cable so that was a bonus. This cable states that it is 4K and 2K compatible so I’d imagine that this is a good cable for backwards compatability if I wanted to attach it to a PS4.
It works well and perhaps there is a very slight improvement over the original cable in terms of picture output. Honestly, I don’t know a lot about cable technology and I don’t know if this state-of-the-art or slightly out-of-date tech, but it works and appears to be well made so that’s fine by me. Recommended.
This HDMI cable is a good quality product the cable is reasuringly thich and the connectors are well made. The video quality is excellent even at 4K so happy to give 5 stars.
