It’s just the cutest little thing! It’s interactive and fun to play with, and it has over 50 lights and sounds that will keep your little one entertained for hours! And it’s not just for kids—my cat is a huge fan too!
Recommended!
it looks good for a gift or a stocking filler. It may not be the best-made toy in the world but my little one loves it. It lights up and makes crazy sounds. Not sure about the price, maybe little cheaper would be better but overall not a bad stocking filler gif
As described and as advertised.
Well packaged and well presented.
This would make a nice gift for children of friends/family for birthdays or Christmas.
Cute toy with good interaction in terms of movement, lights and noises.
There’s definitely a high cute factor but not soft and cuddly so it depends on what your children are after. It’s a shame it doesn’t come with the two needed AA batteries as this isn’t playable with straight out of the box.
This is a review for Animagic: Lets Go Gecko – Yellow | Your Hurrying Scurrying Best Friend|Interactive Walking Pet Gecko with Over 50 Lights and Sounds | For Kids Aged 5+
This is a fun little toy. It moves across the floor or surface and makes gecko sounds. You can interact with it and pretend it is your own little pet. My daughter has had great fun with this toy. It is small but makes it seem real life. It is good value for money and great fun.
This toy is unreal, I love it; its cute as anything! I got this for the beirn and she absolutely loves it. She has never seen anything like this before. She actually thinks its her real pet. Its a very cute toy that brings lots of joy. The packaging makes this toy look expensive; I don’t think this price is badly priced. It’s a fantastic toy and would definitely be a hit with any kid this upcoming Christmas. Lets Go Geko is absolutely fantastic, I cannot fault the little fella.
I got this for my daughter who loves pets and this one although plastic, is good fun. Featuring touch sensitive responses, the little gecko scurries around making cute sounds and the eyes and mouth light up. She loves it.
The only minor note from me is that the actual feet don’t move but instead some little stilts create the actual movement. It would have been nice if it was the actual legs doing the moving to create that extra real look but it’s fine.
For those who don’t like the “creepy crawlies”, there is something a bit unnerving seeing this little gecko decide to scurry across the carpet or floor and I think my daughter could have some fun scaring her grandmother with it 🙂
At the time of writing this was 15.99 which I think is about right and if your child likes interactive toys, then they should love this.
Comes in a blister pack so looks good for a gift, stocking filler. It’s not the best made toy.
Moves a bit weird, lights up and makes crazy sounds.
It’s cute and fun but not sure about the price.
This is a cute little interactive toy, which my 5k year old girl likes as she is really into any kind of interactive pet
It lights up, makes sounds and moves which is a decent amount of interaction. It has flashing eyes and changes mood if it walks on different colours which is great
It did come with the batteries not provided which is a little disappointing as these days a lot of these toys actually come ready to go straight out of the box
But still, this cute little gecko does quite a lot especially with its small size. It’s nicely packaged and the type of thing that’s good for a kids birthday party gif
This is a super cute interactive toy for children.
Like many of these interactive pets, your goal is to give it enough attention that you keep it happy. Depending how much attention you give it, the happier it will be and it’ll show this through the colour of its eyes and even doing a little dance.
What’s quite clever with the Gecko is the first time you play with it or if you leave it alone for a while it’ll be quite nervous and back away or make unhappy noises when you try to play with it. As you touch sensors on it’s head or belly though, it’ll cheer up and get more interested in interacting before eventually celebrating each interaction.
The toy itself is of decent quality. It would be hard to break even with some pretty significant drops. We got the yellow and purple coloured gecko, which is really bright and has a cute expression. The sounds are clear enough for what this is and the mechanics work well enough. They’re not top end, but they’re also not too noisy or clunky.
Overall, I think kids will really enjoy this.
The gecko is really cute. It’s quite interactive, responding to your touches and showing its different moods.
It moves strangely with little paddles rotating under its body.
It’s priced about right for what it is.
So this product is nice, good material and hasn’t broken yet which is a big deal because my kids destroy almost all there toys.
They are rough with them.
Not quite sure but the thing doesn’t always make noises and the battery life is short.
I am not sad that it doesn’t make noise because she still walks around with it and sleeps with it but I would think for the money it would not have the batteries die as quick as they have.
This interactive gecko is well made but needs 2AAA batteries which are not supplied, so if giving this as a gift make sure you get some batteries as well.
The gecko is well made of solid plastic and has cute features. The moves along quite quickly. It gets more active the more the child plays with it, but my granddaughter got bored and was more interested in her other toys. She went back to it later in the day and I am sure this will gradually become fun favourite after she has played with it for a while.
15.99 at the time of writing is a good price for this toy, it would make a good Christmas present.
I am impressed this toy. My kids love it so much. It is very cute. The colour is nice and it has sound and light. They enjoy it so much. Just our one always hung out. I don’t know what is happening. However, we just quite enjoy with it. Thanks
This kind of reminds me of the expensive robot dog that the kids had years ago. But Gecko doesn’t need to wait for charging up, and can be played with immediately once you add 2x AAA Batteries in it. The instructions are easy to work through, with pictures to help. As part or the fun is knowing how to interact with the toy. As it has sensors on it, that when touched it responds in different ways. Plus there are different modes of play. The kids enjoyed playing with this and showing their friends. Plus it also entertained the dog all night as well. The little peg feet underneath that gives it grip to move, dig into your hand a tint little bit. But as you can see from the video clip I’ve included. It hasn’t scratched scratched my table once it moved onto it at the end. I think the price is spot on and the younger children around 3 to 5 really like this toy. The button on this Gecko’s back isn’t always responsive. But found it needs to be pressed at an angle to work sometimes.
I got this for my daughter she really enjoyed it
But she got bored of it quick
I also feel that it is a lot less interactive than described and the toy is not intuitive so it’s hard to get the changes – different songs moods – happening thought interactio
This is a fun gecko toy, infact this little gecko can go and its quite frantic. My friends 5 year old boy absolutely loves it, loud and fast, a great little friend, he calls him Greg the Gecko. This needs 2 AAA batteries not included which is always a bit of a pain, I’ve lost count of how many toys I’ve bought and forgot to buy batteries for on Christmas morning – causing lots of tears! I’ve love to see this as rechargeable but then that probably push up the price. Loads of flashing lights and sounds and frantic movement, Greg the Gecko is a big hit.
Had a problem with this, when first opened and the battery’s (not included) where put in, it did not move very far in fact it only just moved, taking a closer look I noticed that the rear legs or paddles as they describe them seemed to be stuck, looking closer I found one of the legs had a bit of glue or plastic tag sticking it to the body, I was able to use a knife and clear it then after that it burst into life, hopefully mines just a one off.
This is quite a cute and fun little toy, it’s eyes change colour and it dances around the floor making sounds, it’s going to be a hit with my little granddaughter who just loves these moving toys.
It has three sensors and when touched they make Gecko do different things, I have only had a quick go and not really worked out exactly what it does but, it shows emotion by changing the colour of its eyes and there are 12 colours, touch it’s tummy to make it keep walking and there are a few other interactions as well to discover.
