Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersRight in our the box the projector is well made and heavy. I didn’t expect much from the auto focus feature. But it is absolutely insane. In the video you can’t tell the projector is sitting at an angle and still projecting a perfectly crisp straight sharp image and it’s brighter than I thought it’s actually watchable in day light. All together it is an absolutely phenomenal projector that is easy to use, it’s connectivity is amazing it performs absolutely amazing for its price and beyond.

Movie nights have reached a whole new level with this projector. The picture quality is impressive, and the built-in Android system makes streaming a breeze. Setting it up was surprisingly simple, thanks to the auto-focus and keystone correction features. The Wi-Fi 6 ensures a smooth connection, and the Bluetooth functionality lets me connect external speakers for a truly immersive experience.

This was way smaller than I thought it would be, for some reason I was expecting something bigger, however this makes it easier for storage.
It took me ages (and the input of my son!) to get it connected and set up, but then again I’m not the best at IT.
My biggest issue is a lack of blank wall space to project onto so I’d think about that before ordering.
Once it was up and running it was quite easy to use, the picture was ok but not perfect. I think this is definitely one for tech minded people and those with wall space or a screen. Would be good for watching sports or films at a party

Nice projector but does have it’s limitations. The resolution isn’t the best but then for it’s price this is to be expected. It is compact though which is great for storing on the media unit.

The HIPPUS Projector is a great gadget to enjoy watching videos and music in a variety of places.

The projector feels very strong and well made and it is reasonably easy to use. When we first set it up we struggled to find an area in the house that would clearly display the screen as we don’t have large empty walls. We settled on the ceiling in the end! The set up and addition of the wifi and password was a faff but we got it done right in the end. This took a lot of adjusting the focus otherwise we couldn’t see clearly to type the password etc. in.

Once the machine is set up it is easy to use. YouTube connects easily by using the cast feature from my iPad, there is also an app but I didn’t try it. Spotify worked by downloading the app on the projector and then casting the music from my iPad and Netflix wouldn’t work at all for me wirelessly. I tried the app on the projector and it said incorrect password every time I attempted to login even though I know it was correct, maybe it was trying to log in to the US version but I don’t know how to correct this. I couldn’t cast via the app on my iPad for Netflix either as no devices were coming up to select. I did manage to connect to Netflix by mirroring my screen with a HDMI cable which is useful and allowed us to watch personally recorded videos on a big screen too.

After initially figuring it out we thought we’d have a go in the garden and as long as it’s darker and you have a plug that reaches it works well there. Our wifi doesn’t reach the garden but we can still watch downloaded videos via the screen mirroring which is good and will be great for summer evenings.

I am very impressed with this projector, the screen is clear and the sound is good. I would recommend it and think it is a reasonable price for what it is and its capabilities too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant projecto

With this projector, you can create a cinema type environment in your home. You may need a screen or plain white wall, and off you go. Turn the lights down or off, get some beanbags, and have a love private movie night in the comfort of your own home. Adults and kids impressed with the quality alike and older kids learnt to use it really quickly. The picture quality is very clear, the auto-focus a useful addition improving the experience and the sound is also good quality. Lovely for all of the family.

Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to the auto focus and keystone correction features that made everything crystal clear in no time. The compact design and well-fitting lens cap were also a nice touch.

The picture quality is surprisingly good for the price point, although I did notice that the sound quality leaves a bit to be desired. The built-in speaker is passable but using an external speaker or headphones is a must for a truly immersive experience. The fan noise can be a bit distracting, but it’s not a deal-breaker for me.

I think it is a bit misleading having 4K anywhere near the description as it is 1080p outpu

There is a lot to like about this projector. Projector technology has come so far, the picture quality at this price point is simply astounding.

Setup is so easy, once I turned it on it did the focusing and keystone correction is done automatically. Although on occasion I had to manually tweak the focus, it
largely does a good job on its own.

So picture quality and auto functionality is great but that is not to say that this projector is withoult issue. My main problems with it is the sound quality and the remote functionality.

If you are going to use this to watch movies then you must use an external speaker, or headphones. Since the built in speakers are useable but of significantly lower quality than the picture. In addition the fan noise is really loud and distracting.

Additionally the response to input from the remote is sluggish at best, at worst it’s unusable.

One more thing to bear in mind is that the output maxes out at 1080p, it is NOT a 4k projector. You can consume 4k content but it will downsample the 4k input to 1080p.

At the time of this review this projector is 186.
I have had a projector for over a year and used it to play videos from a hard drive onto a projector screen. I have now given to my ( adult ) son, that projector has some very similar specs to this one. My son uses it to connect to his Nintendo switch and Amazon firestick.
This projector has a different exterior design which I have to say I prefer, It has nice clean lines and no control buttons built into the outside of the unit. There is one power button on the back, apart from that there are just input sockets on the outside.
That does mean everything is controlled from the simple remote control which was new to me. No batteries supplied you need 2 AAA for the remote.
It does mean this projector has smarter internals than my old one,
the first immediate thing I noticed that with a single press of a button on the remote this proctor will find the area you want to project into and set the focus. I moved the projector around and set it at an awkward angle, it copes well with my adjustments and reset the focus. A couple of times I had to press the focus button twice but it was still a lot easier than fiddling with a rotating wheel..
Second thing I noticed was how much clearer the picture is, even in daylight, it would still struggle in bright daylight but it is much improved.
The sound quality is better that my previous projector and comes from a single speaker on the side. There is also an option to connect a Bluetooth speaker
This projector comes a padded storage bag that holds the cables , power supply and remote.
What don’t you get in this bundle –
    No screen
    No tripod stand,

There is an option to attach it to the ceiling and there is a standard tripod hole in the base.
    There are cheaper projector bundles
Overall a nice package which I would recommend if you are looking for one, this one is smaller than most with nice simple clean lines.
I hope the video and review is helpful
