I add these grips to all my Badminton request as I feel the standard are too small. Fit over the top of existing grip, easy to fit and very grippy! Good quality.

I installed this on two rackets and made the mistake of not removing the glossy sticker from the tape on the first one, so it will have to be removed in full so I can take that layer off – grip with that removed is much better of course.

My mistake aside these are great tapes, they have an insert which create a ridge on the handle allowing for fingers to sit in these grooves and provide greater comfort and grip.

Great set of colours and happy to recommend, will work for tennis or badminton.

These as you probably guessed have two purposes, one to replace a worn grip or simply to add a nice colour option to your racket.

I had the multi pack of different colours each individual wrapped, instructions on the packaging would be a challenge as its in Chinese mostly with images, but the listing has more useful instructions and there are plenty of video guides online.

Tricky to make them look perfect but you can do a few practice runs to get it right.

Feel wise Ill be honest it feel like a racket grip wont slip and is soft enough and at just over 1 each they are pretty good value.

I’ve just recently gotten back into badminton. These grips are easy to apply and are nicely cushioned without being too thick. These are nice quality grips and make a significant difference when holding the racket. Very happy with these grips.

I am actually very impress with these Baihualin anti-slip overgrips considering just how affordable they are for a pack of six, currently at 6.99 at the time of writing this review.

The racket grips themselves are great, they feel well made and they are really easy to install even for a novice. Once installed they feel super comfortable, they sit well in hand and I feel they are very effective for my squash rackets.

They’re ok but for the price you cannot complain. They’re a consumable item so with weekly use you’d probably get about a couple of months before they start looking a bit shabby.

I’ve never used a ribbed one before though, they definitely feel different – something I wasn’t aware of when I got i

If you are after a specific colour, don’t pic the mix, despite the picture showing the colours you would rightfully expect, it is random and I ended up with 2 purples and no green, the exact colour I actually wanted.

So I elected to go with the usual black and have to say, these are pretty decent racket grips, they have a good grip and they went on no problem first time so overall pretty happy with them and have some spares once this goes.

Did want my green tho, pretty sad 🙂

4.0 out of 5 stars Good grips, random colours sadly

In the past on my squash rackets I’ve generally just put on the Karakal super grips. Not sure why but thats just where Ive been.

I grabbed thses and tobe honest there not bad. maybe not quite as good as the Karakal for my hand feel. But these offer an amazing value at just 1 a piece, youd be tempted to swap themout a little bit sooner just to maintin that fresh feel.

They apply well enough and provide a suitable level of grip wiht no sign of unnecessary slip. and tehPU offers a deent bit of damping

This review is for the BAIHUALIN Whizz Badminton Tennis Racket Grip Tape Handle Wrap Anti Slip Squash Overgrip with Finishing Tape, Various Options (Black)

6.99 at the time of review.

I used these on tennis rackets and they worked just fine. A word of caution though — these tapes are designed to cover a bare handle, and not simply cover an existing grip like some others are.

I stripped the old tape off the rackets, then peeled back a little of the covering on the tape, then removed the cover on the adhesive tape on the taper. That done, you simply wind the tape around the handle, making sure the top edge of the tape runs below the centre ridge of the tape above and pulling the covering off the tape as you wind around the handle. Once you get to the bottom, cut the remaining tape at an angle to get a straight line, then secure it in place with the supplied adhesive tape. I usually loop some adhesive tape around the shaft of the racket as well so make sure it is held in place better.

The grip is good and the cushioning given by the centre foam strip that runs along the length of the tape is very good and comfortable. My only criticism is that two of the tapes were a little shorter than the others (I used all six tapes on six rackets), or it may be that the others were longer. Either way, it just meant I have to adjust the shorter ones slightly before securing them with the adhesive tape.

At a few pence over a pound each, these tapes are great value. Time will tell how they wear in comparison to much more expensive tapes, but at the moment, I am more than happy to give them 5 stars and am more than happy to recommend them. The padding also helps to reduce vibrations a little, which is more noticeable in tennis as opposed to badminton.

The instructions on the package are in chinese (?) but fairly straightforward to use if you’ve re-gripped a racket before. These are ribbed to allow better grip. This may not be to everyone’s taste but it feels fine to me. These feel like reasonable quality. Time will tell how they will last. Remember to take the top layer off BEFORE you fit the grip! There’s a small square self-adhesive patch at the end of the grip, and the usual self-adhesive strip to secure it at the top.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value and feels like quality

This review is for ‘BAIHUALIN Whizz Badminton Tennis Racket Grip Tape Handle Wrap Anti Slip Squash Overgrip with Finishing Tape.’

It arrives in a transparent plastic bag, within which there are 6 grip tapes packaged in 6 separate green plastic bags.

It is very easy to apply; peel off the transparent film, then wrap the griptape starting at the end of the racket handle, wind gradually down at a slight diagonal angle, overlapping the preceding tape. It has a self-adhesive patch at the end to fix it in place. Then there is a small self adhesive black strip to wrap around the bottom edge to secure it.

It has a slim strip of spongey white padding along the inner length of the tape. Once applied, the grip tape feels comfortable and it is also non-slip.

It works well so I am pleased with it.

This 6-pack pink overgrip taps are made polyurethane that are intended for wrapping over the original grip tape of the badminton racket. The overgrip tape comes with self-adhesive on the start end (point ed end) of the tape and a separate sticky tape is included for fixing the wrapping end. The tape is soft and comfy which functions as vibration damping. It is breathable and excellent in sweat absorption. In addition, it has a sticky ribbon following the mid-line of the tape, so it adds a unique uneven pattern on the grip for extra anti-slip property. It is relatively inexpensive and comes in a pack of 6, so I can keep my racket grip in a clean pink for quite a while.

I can’t fault these grips. I fitted one on my daughters racquet, and liked it so much I then fitted one on mine (check the pics).

The tape is very grippy, decent level of anti-slip to it, and I’ve never use a ribbed grip before. But I like it. The ribbing is a very strong foam, it doesn’t crush under your grip.

If things change as I start using it, I’ll report back, but for now, you can’t fault these! And the other thing is you get 6 grips in the pack, great value.

This is a pack of 6 budget overgrip taps that work well for badminton rackets. Unlike the other typical overgrip tapes, this one has a sticky soft foam lining in the middle line and small holes on the tap which can create a unique pattern on the grip for higher friction (anti-slip). It has a tapered end with self-adhesive. This end should be used for starting wrapping from the bottom of the handle. When wrapping, attention should be focused on how much overlap between neighbouring tap to create a uniform pattern of the grip. Once reached the shaft, the grip tape should be trimmed and securely fixed using the provided sticky tape. The tape is soft, breathable, sweat absorbent. It functions as non-slip grip as well as vibration damping.

I ordered these to replace the grip tape on some aging badminton rackets that had become tacky. I wanted to replace rather than just cover. The first thing I noticed with this tape is that it has a foam backing that runs down the centre. Referring back to the instructions on the Amazon listing it appears that this is supposed to stay on. If you do leave it on than you will create a sort of ribbed handle with a fair bit of topography. I decided against this and stripped the foam off. Getting the previous tape off and cleaning the handle back to the wood was a bit of a faff but that has nothing to do with the tape. I wrapped the handle with minimal overlap (2 – 3 mm) starting with the tapered end. I slightly stretched the tape tight as I wrapper. Not too much tension though. It kind of clings to itself but needs taping up at both ends using the black strip of sticky back vinyl provided.

The tape is absorbent as I found out when I attempted to clean off the grubby smudges it picked up from my hands whilst cleaning the old tape off. The grubby marks did not wash off, they appear to have been ingrained. The sticky vinyl is not very sticky and has started to come off at one end.

I am not enamoured with this tape; I like the colours and it is pleasantly tactile but I am not convinced they have provided enough stickiness to make sure it stays on the handle. Mine has already started peeling off. It’s nothing another piece of better tape won’t fix but it would be good if it worked well right out of the bag.

4.0 out of 5 stars Getting this right may take some practice

This grip tape is similar and seems to be as good as any others I have tried.

First you have to strip off the old handle tape if you are re-taping.

You unroll the tape and remove the protective film and then the small section of self adhesive backing at the slanted end. Starting from the end of the handle and working towards the racket head you place the slanted cut end so the tape starts at an angle and then whilst retaining some tension, carefully wind the tape around the handle, overlapping it by about 5mm.

At the racket end, I usually get to a length of handle I am happy with and then cut the handle tape across at an angle so it is perpendicular to the shaft and then apply the end tape provided. I have sometimes found that black electricians tape is useful as the tape provided can be too short.

These tapes provide a cushioned ridged outcome and I prefer this type as I think it gives greater grip but I do know some players prefer a smoother tape without the ridges or without such pronounced ridges as this tape gives. So consider that aspect before you buy this.

So this is good racket grip tape and is being offered at a good price in a pleasing array of colours, including a black set, so overall appears very good value to me.
