Although the processor is a couple of years old, it is still very capable, and I suspect will be for years into the future. With a Ryzen 7, 32 GB of RAM and a 512 GB NVME SSD it is very quick. For a while there was a coupon that brought this down to $266 (which is what I paid when I purchased it) which was an absolute steal! These minicomputers are revolutionary, and while yes, they use laptop components, they are making quality desktop computing affordable. A couple of minor complaints: I have a Beelink (these Bosgames come out of the same factory as Beelink) minicomputer that is a couple of years old and it had a fingerprint reader built in. Nice! This Bosgame does not, so I had to purchase a USB fingerprint reader that has been certified for Windows Hello. The other picky complaint is that there is a dearth of USB 3.0 ports, with them only on the front along with a USB C. The USB ports on the back are USB 2.0. But hey, $266!
My application (Freecad) couldn’t access files I had created and stored on my onedrive folder with my existing Windows 10 system. I have never had a problem accessing the files from various devices in the past but on this device I just kept getting an error 0x8007016a. I really didn’t expect to encounter errors accessing onedrive files from Windows 11 and I don’t want to spend time troubleshooting Microsoft’s problems so this machine is not for me.
Update: I spent some time reinstalling onedrive and I eventually got it working. I am happy with the machine as it now does what I wanted it to do. I have increased performance, more memory with the option of adding more if needed and dual monitors and the machine runs quieter and takes up less space. Pity about the initial problems with OneDrive otherwise a great machine.
Worked out of the box – though wouldn’t turn on for the first time until I unplugged all external devices, now works just fine. Customer Service team responded within the hour when querying this (by which time I’d resolved it myself).
Silent. Fast. Civ VI start up reduced by about 75%. Everything else just runs fast. And it’s small so less clutter. Would recommend.
I bought this to replace an aging i5 desktop. Smaller, quieter and much , much faster. I’d been wary of small form factor computers for a long time but I finally realised that I hadn’t had to add anything to a computer for years. in fact, the last time I opened one was to replace a power supply.
I usually have Chrome with 6-8 tabs open, Whatsapp, Reaper (DAW), Zoom and Openshot running and this tiny little machine handles it fine. It runs close to silent and has been flawless so far. I didn’t realise that it came with Windows 11 Pro so that was a nice surprise.
If your a modern gamer or have some power intensive application in mind then you probably need to look for something many times this price but for everyone else I am very happy to recommend this dimunitive system.
Something of a leap in the dark as this is to replace a full size bulky desktop
It is absolutely tiny in comparison and is powerful with plenty of storage. Having USB2 and USB3 ports is very useful
A lot is crammed into a small space
The most noticeable thing is, as it has no moving parts (no noisy fan), that it is utterly silent which is a bit disconcerting!
An excellent little black box of computing goodness
Amazing little pc. Very fast and plays a lot of older games perfectly well worth the money. The ryzen 3 chip is much better than any of the intel n-95 n100 n97 chips
Ok for the budget that I had I got this mini pc. I will say the 6600h in it is a fast cpu and handles everything and every test I’ve thrown at it. Only thing I will say is the 2.5 inch ssd that came in mine was broken but other than that I have had the best experience with this mini pc. I will be trying it with an egpu (the razer egpu chassis with a 3060) and see how that works. If you’re looking for desktop performance with games you will have to go to bios and change the gb that the internal gpu uses to 8gb which I think it’s set to default at 3. Do that and you’ll run most mid end games at 1080p high to low settings with a consistent 60 frames. Again I will be trying it with a egpu and I will post the results here

Reasons To Buy
+ Tiny computer with excellent overall performance
+ Windows 11 PRO (not Home) is the preinstalled OS. I was pleasantly surprised by this, as the product description at the time of review had no indication whether an OS was even preinstalled. I had no issues activating the OS.
+ Good casual gaming performance (the GPU is comparable to a GTX 750 Ti). You can also upgrade it with an eGPU and PCIe GPU. I tested it with a GTX 950 on a Razer eGPU chassis, and it worked (you might need to reboot it after the first time you connect it for it to work). For what it’s worth, I have a Lenovo Legion laptop with the same CPU, and it doesn’t have eGPU support.
+ CPU performance is stellar for the size and price
+ More than enough RAM for most people (32GB – 2x16GB, runs as dual channel)
+ Good amount of disk space 500GB for most people
+ Has room for a 2.5 SATA drive (don’t lose the cable in the package)
+ Name brand RAM (Crucial DDR5 4800 2x16GB – CT16G48C40S5 ) and NVME SSD (Kingston PCIE Gen4 om8sep4512n-a0 QLC M2 2280)
+ Has a pull tab on the bottom to make the base easy to pop off for upgrades. Inside the unit, you can only upgrade the NVME (1 slot), RAM (2 slots), and add a SATA storage device.
+ Can be mounted via VESA (bracket included)
+ 2 x HDMI, plus video via USB-4 USB-C (I was able to drive two monitors via USB-C using a PD capable dock, and it worked with my Razer eGPU)
+ It is quiet when under normal loads. When under heavy load, the fan is audible, similar to a laptop fan.
+ A good set of I/O ports (USBC 4.0, 4xUSB 3.2Gen2, 2XHDMI 2.0, ethernet), plus built in wifi 6 (Intel AX201) and bluetooth 5.2
+ Includes a 120W power brick. The unit can be powered by a USB-C PD power adapter, **provided** that the brick provides enough power via the connected USB port (note that many multiport bricks will split the power output if multiple ports are occupied). If the PD power adapter isn’t up to the task, the unit will power down without warning. When I tested it with my Razer eGPU, it had no issues powering the PC at all.
+ The key combinations to get into the BIOS are printed on the bottom of the PC, which is a nice touch
+ CMOS reset hole on the front of the unit
+ AMD CPUs tend to have less power consumption than their Intel counterparts
Nitpicks / Hit or Miss
* If you’re going to drive monitors off USB-C or use a dock/eGPU, it sucks that the port is at the front of the unit, as opposed to the side or back of the unit
* It looks weird when used with an eGPU like Razer’s, which is about 10 or more times larger than this PC.
* When using with an eGPU, you should use a certified TB4 or USB4 cable, or it might not work.
* The specs and documentation could be better. The product page doesn’t say that it has Windows pre-installed, and the front USB-C port isn’t labeled as USB4.
Reasons Not To Buy
– If you don’t intend to use an eGPU, the internal GPU isn’t going to be able to run the latest games at the highest settings. You’re likely going to have to run demanding games at a lower res like 720p to get decent results. This isn’t so much of an issue for older games though.
– Built in video ports are HDMI 2.0, you’ll need to use an eGPU if you need better than that
– There are faster and new AMD CPUs available than the 6600H in the same form factor
Good Value?
For the price, performance, specs and expandability, it is an amazing value, especially since it comes with Windows 11 Pro installed (keep in mind that an upgrade from Home to Pro itself costs around $146).
This is review is for model H66 (6600H 32GB RAM). When I took it out of the box, I heard a rattling noise. I opened up the case to inspect and found one of the screws that hold down the motherboard had fallen loose, and another MB screw was loose and about to fall out. It appears they come loose in transit. I tightened them down and feel confident they won’t come loose again since this computer will be stationary. If you intend to carry yours around, I suggest using Locktite on the motherboard screws. While the case was open, I noticed it used two Crucial 16GB SO-DIMMs and a Kingston 512GB M.2 SSD. So basically, these use lower-end components. As for the computer’s performance, it’s being used for web browsing, watching videos, and playing simple games. The computer has ample power for that. It is physically very small and takes up little desktop space, which is a big plus. I don’t like huge ATX towers. It was cheaper than building a desktop computer with comparable horsepower. Unless you’re a serious gamer, these mini PCs will do most normal tasks just fine. Highly recommended — but beware of the loose screw problem
