Adjustable with good capacity, love the colour and quality! It has a loop to attach your dog and walk them hands free, the loop is plastic so unless you have a small dog, or a dog that doesn’t pull id of ore that, but it does make a good loop to attach a dog water bowl or bottle to. This comes everywhere with me when walking the dog, or going hiking – so much easier than carrying a back back!
The colour I chose was a nice neutral tone so goes with anything. Bum bag itself is roomy so good for putting lots in without weighing down your shoulder like a shoulder bag would. Comfortable to wear and frees up your arms. Possibly a bit pricey for what it is but it should last well. Great for holidays and dog walking etc when you don’t want to have to carry a bag or want to keep your belongings close to you
This bum bag is actually made of quite rugged denim like material (NOT thin & flimsy) with decent thick external zippers.
Stitching quality is very good and each pocket has an internal lining to protect the contents.
Also included is an extension strap for attaching the bag over a thick coat OR to wear as a cross body shoulder bag.
Although the bag’s capacity may not accommodate a tablet, it is just the right size
for carrying your everyday items, e.g. mobile phone, sunglasses, wallet, keys, earphones and USB cable etc.
However for the advertised price, I would have liked an expansion feature with lockable zipper heads.
Well implemented bum bag. Nice wide waist band, decent sized clip. Thoughtful extender although I found the standard band adjusted sufficiently for me and remained comfortable but tight enough to know I’m still wearing it.
The bag is made of lined easy care synthetic fabric and has the main pocket, an internal pocket (nice touch) and a back pocket that would be secured against your body.
The capacity is inline with other bags I have had of this type but I like the addition internal zipped pocket, something I have not had on a bag like this before. The workmanship is good having thoroughly inspected the seams and zips.
In summary a good implementation of the bum bag, like the extender for those needing it, good pocket options if a little pricy at the time of review, but the workmanship and thicker material go some way to explaining that.
This is a handy bag. The strap is plenty big enough to go around a 36″ waist without needing the extension piece.
It’s not a premium bag; not up to the standard of a brand like North Face, and personally I would say that it’s not worth the current 19. Though once you’ve deducted the 30% off voucher, it’s a much more acceptable price.
The outer shell is shiny, unlike the picture on the listing, and is typical of a fairly cheap water-resistant bag.
The inner lining seems to be well sewn and a feels pretty good.
The straps and fastener seem strong enough.
The zips are plastic-toothed, and okay. Initially I thought that one was faulty, but it worked after a few tries, and now seems to work fine.
Provided that it remains on a decent price offer, this bag is worth considering, if you’re after a lightweight medium-size bum bag for light use.
For those who like the convenience of travelling with things like your phone/wallet/keys without the uncomfortable feel of these items stuffed into your pockets, these useful carry packs are great for wandering around when you’re on the move.
The bag comes with an adjustable belt which for my medium sized frame was more than adequate for a comfortable fit. There’s also a useful additional extension for the larger person, or, if you want to carry it across your chest or over your shoulder. Adjusting it was easy and also the plastic catch, snaps into place very firmly and seems up to the task of keeping it secure.
In terms of volume of the various sections. The main compartment is really big and has an internal compartment for added double security. The chunky zips work well. The other compartments are somewhat smaller but useful for the kind of oddments you’re likely to be carrying around.
It doesn’t apply to me, but there’s a little ring the manufacturers say you can use to attach a dog lead (or keys?) should you wish. The material is said to be water resistant but it hasn’t rained on me yet so I am unable to confirm how much protection this offers. I suspect a heavy downpour might be a little too much for this to keep your nik-naks dry. But, it’s clearly aimed at the casual walker so that’s not a great issue for me.
I have the navy blue version, which is a bit lighter than traditional darker navy blue, but that’s more than okay for me. The internal lining is in a light contrasting colour and doesn’t seem to quite fit in with the main colour and could look dirty I suspect after a bit of use. It’s out of sight in use and therefore out of mind.
In summary, a decent size waist bag with good straps and zips and certainly a useful tourist/travel accessory. Recommended.
