Great device for your bike that was easy to fit by following the instructions & equally as easy to set-up Apple Carplay with my iPhone.
The touchscreen is great & very responsive, overall this is a quality product & a great additiion to my bike.
This is an excellent product. Compared to manufacturers expensive tech this is value for money. Get full Apple CarPlay and maps like Google maps and music and phone connectivity. Fits my R1300GS satnav cradle.

This is a great carplay screen and works great. It’s super easy to set up, the screen is large and easy to read and the touchscreen nice and responsive. The bracket to attach it is nice and sturdy too and it’s completely waterproof.
This product was being discussed on the UKGSer forum as an excellent device to get Android Auto onto your BMW R1250GSA – the device came prepared to fit into the BMW docking unit for power and took less than 2 minutes to replace my Garmin GPS unit. In case you are unsure, you need your phone to use this device for navigation.
Phone connects easily, no issues (Android) and my Cardo PalkTalk Edge also connected with no issues. Much nicer screen than the garmin, touch screen also works with my touch screen Keis heated gloves.
Screen is bright enough for daytime riding – have not tried it at night yet, so hoping not to be blinded by its brightness.
Carpuride also offer a customisation service to change the boot screen to the logo of your choice!
I would highly recommend this device.
Almost exactly a year ago I tested the Carpuride W901 Pro, a very similar device but with a 9″ screen rather than the 7″ screen on this W702 version. That was designed for cars/vans however, so it doesn’t have the waterproof touchscreen facility that the W702 does. I found the W901 Pro a really decent aftermarket Car Play / Android Auto alternative, with just some reservations about the cables trailing everywhere.
With the W702, we’re looking at a much more compact device which when installed looks a lot tidier when mounted on your bikes mounting bracket. You do need the BMW navigation bracket, or a holder that is the same size, to be able to use it. Other than that, installation is quick and painless. You get the option of Car Play or Android Auto so both iPhone and Android phone users are covered here.
The screen is the same 1024×600 resolution as the W901, with a decent brightness which you’ll be able to see in most lighting conditions but don’t expect to have a totally clear view of the screen when the sun is shining over your shoulder straight into the screen. The touchscreen is decent enough. Not as responsive as my iPhone, but acceptable.
The W702 connects you your phone which you can keep in your pocket, and then also connects to your wireless headphones in your helmet so in effect works as a relay device. That all works very well.
For touring, this is a fantastic product. Being able to set Google or Apple maps up on my phone and then setting off with the directions sent straight to the screen in front of me is great. For navigation alone this is superb, and then being able to listen to my playlists or talk to my mates when I’m in a group is very valuable and I think just about justifies the cost of the device.
I’m really impressed with this motorcycle GPS screen. The custom mount fits perfectly on my bike, making it easy to install and secure. The wireless CarPlay and Android Auto features are incredibly handy, allowing me to access navigation, music, and calls without distraction. The waterproof touchscreen works great in all weather conditions, and the dual Bluetooth allows me to stay connected while on the go. It’s a fantastic upgrade for any motorbike, enhancing both safety and convenience on long rides. Overall, it’s a must-have for any motorcycle enthusiast.
This motorcycle GPS screen has enhanced my riding adventures with its advanced features and user-friendly interface. With its waterproof construction and intuitive navigation system, it provides reliable guidance on the road. Though the touchscreen responsiveness could be improved, its overall performance and functionality meet my expectations. Overall, it’s a valuable accessory for motorcyclists seeking enhanced navigation and connectivity options.
This unit comes with the BMW specific mounts pre-attached but comes with a generic bar mount in the box which is nice.
If you use the mount it supplies power that way, and you also get a usb adapter (5v > 12v) and a hardwire 12v kit which gives you options if you aren’t using it on the specific bike mount.
In operation the display is nice and bright and very clear. The sun shield that is attached is also handy to keep glare off.
Pairing both iPhone and android devices was super simple and worked perfectly straight away. They were very responsive in their respective interfaces and maps etc worked great!
Audio output from the device is to another Bluetooth device such as a headset so effectively a relay from your phone to the headset.
The device works well ultimately and presents plenty of options for power and usage, the sticking point however is the value proposition is not amazing considering the alternatives available.
Love how this is its own device, I don’t need to keep taking it on and off each time and the built in maps just takes the experience to another level when using it on that decent sized screen. Quality wise I actually really great, I haven’t experienced any lag so far and everything is running smoothly, however I only have one issue in terms of the screen, it’s not always responsive or when it’s raining that will sometimes mess with the screen, another thing is I can’t use gloves with it, so need to keep taking them off.
I’ve had a phone holder for my bike for a while, so that I can have sat nav to help me get to where I’m going. But this is another level! It is very easy to set up and mount. Linking it to my phone was so easy (way easier than my car). It automatically picks up my phone. I set the destination on my phone before I set off and it connects with the route ready.
This is what my bike has been missing all this time. Super happy and would highly recommend to any biker.
The build of the device is decent. The installation process is a bit time-consuming but comes with acustomisedbracket and tools, soit is straightforward.
The screen display quality is good. The device delivers an excellent audio and visual experience. Even on sunny days, you can see the clear screen. The touch screen is responsive, making navigating your music and apps easy. The Bluetooth connection is stable. The GPS system is great, too, providing clear directions without any lag.
Overall, I don’t have anything wrong to say about this, as it’s an excellent design, exceptional quality, looks great, and is straightforward to use.
I think if tech is what you’re after, then this definitely ticks that box.
It’s like a bigger screen phone extension. Everything works just as on your phone. Easy to use (even with gloves).
I really like it, my only concern is that at over 200 it’s a bit pricy.
If the price was lower then this would be an option. However I just can’t justify it at its current price. Hence the 4/5 stars.
Installation on my bike was really easy – it came with all the fittings that I needed.
It looks amazingly cool on the bike – almost like it’s a factory installed feature.
The screen itself is great – but of course it doesn’t respond with thick riding gloves on.
All I do is set it up before my journey – and then it’s all systems go – no issues.
Cool Design – Effective Bike Sat Nav.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! AAA+++
I tend to change bikes frequently and have a particular affinity towards vintage motor scooters and motorcycles so am more used to roadside engine rebuilds than cutting edge technology.
When this appeared in my recommended items in Amazon Vine I initially ignored it as it stated for BMW but curiosity eventually got the better of me and I went for it, and I’m so glad I did!
One of my current bikes is a maxi scooter with a TomTom Bio fitted for navigation, as it is also USB powered I have fitted a switch to turn it on and off independent of the engine running, first job was to see if this would work with the Carpuride, as you can see, it does.
The TomTom has a proprietary bracket fitted to a mirror so for now I have bodged a fitting for this behind my windscreen, it isn’t pretty but it works and despite appearances it doesn’t block my view of the scooters gauges, I’m now looking for a way to make it more aesthetically pleasing whilst allowing it to be easily removed for security.
Not having used CarPlay before I wondered how difficult connection would be, not at all, put the iPhone into search mode, it found it instantly, pair then reboot both devices and they remember each other.
All functions work as intended and I can confirm that the touchscreen will still work with gloves.
I haven’t been able to test it with my helmet headset yet as I just switched to a new helmet and haven’t fitted the comms.
I took the photo in bright suns and the screen is much clearer than the photo makes out, an indoor shot illustrates the brightness better.
Now, as if I needed an excuse to go for a ride!
The Carpuride W702 Motorcycle GPS Carplay Screen is a game-changer for riders! Its custom mount for BMW motorbikes ensures a secure fit, while its 7-inch waterproof touchscreen guarantees visibility in any weather. With wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, dual Bluetooth, navigation, and Siri compatibility, it offers unparalleled convenience and safety on the road. Say goodbye to navigation hassles and hello to smooth rides with this innovative device!
This is really good sat nav alternative for your bike. This comes with the BMW mounting bracket already fitted but it does come with the standard universal mounting bracket and you can swap that out which is exactly what I had to do for my Harley. The unit plugs into your bike’s battery and is powered from that. I’m in two minds as to whether I would have preferred that it used a rechargeable battery and could therefore be fitted without the need for wiring. As it is, it works perfectly well and is easy enough to set up. Connecting a phone is super simple. You just search for the device on your phone’s Bluetooth pairing and pretty much everything else just flows on from there. Just accept the connection and you’re all paired and good to go. Once connected it’s just like using Android auto on any other device. I get the same screen layout as I get when I connect to my car. It uses a capacitive touch screen so good luck using this with thick gloves. As a result, I think I would have preferred that it had some physical buttons, but it’s not the end of the world. I really like this and I think it looks wicked on my bike. The screen is massive and very clear and following maps on it is really easy. It’s thoroughly recommended.
Heads up display with built in car play a bit specialised as only fits a few models but alot of features from making calls to sending messages to taking calls. Expensive but it’s something that will be used regularly.
