Changed from garmin to this. The only facility it doesn’t have yet is live activity tracker but it is coming soon. Does everything my fenix 6s did for a fraction of the price and the watch back doesn’t irritate me
Supported by a very usable clear App and Website. I’ve moved from Garmin (245 Music) to Corus after Garmin changed their App imo for the worse. I’ve now had the Pace 3 for a full week and I can definitely say it lives up to the on-line reviews.
From a full charge 7 days ago the battery is at 41% and I’ve completed 5 runs this week and several recorded walks!
Takes a while to understand how to use the Pace 3 but if you come from Garmin you should not have much trouble. On-line help info has always been useful for me to overcome the what/where questions
There’s so much to like that I recommend prospective buyers to read up on the experts Pace 3 reviews on-line for themselves.
My summary: an excellent value for money running watch with much essential detail to assist training and improvement for amateur runners like me.
-Super battery life
-Clear display with choice of watch faces
-Phone App that follows a similar format to Garmins previous app issue (not the current)
-More detailed and informative running info than imo Garmin
-Great training plans available for download to watch from Website
-Website user-friendly with lots of explanations
I’m a regular runner/cyclist. Previously used Garmin watches but they used to struggle catching the satellite signal. Then I moved to Apple Watch and have been happy with that for 4 years but the battery life was a problem. The Coros Pacer 3 was reviewed well in a number of independent reviews so I purchased it to replace my Apple Watch. It is a really good price of kit. I am amazed by the battery life. One charge and multiple uses including during sleep will last you over a week. It is an excellent sports watch and monitors HRV much better than the Apple Watch. It is also better for starting, pausing and stopping a workout. Can recommend.
My Apple Watch battery was starting to get annoying and it’s pairing to the phone was also eating into that battery on longer walks. It used to last all but after updates and whatnot it was no longer the case.
Stumbled across this watch on a youtube vid about apple watches. I did think of the Apple Watch ultra for 800 but that still has a limited battery life for the money.
So the Coros, even with gps running it lasts ages, definitely the day and probably longer. I’m no longer a slave to the daily ritual of watch charging.
The display is kinda lcd with a backlight but its always on. Its really configurable what to display on workouts, i think there’s 6 of 8 different sections for steps/heart rate etc.
You can still connect to an iphone and get it to record things in apple fitness but the maps are in the coros app.
Loads of watch faces.
I guess it depends what you want, if you want battery life over just the apple trend then its definitely a good buy.
Time will tell if the plastic on the watch will last, idk if they make a metal one but i’d always prefer that personally.
I have had three COROS watches x2 Apexs and this Pace 3. The second Apex was provided for free as an upgrade by COROS. . This Pace 3 has an improved breadcrumb trail with a pop out when a turn is coming up. With the upgraded app, this just what I need. Given the wealth of COROS users, it must be possible to provide a heat map on the app. Otherwise I am delighted with the purchase.
Amazing Watch! I made a change from an Apple Watch after reading about the COROS; I was initially very skeptical, but glad I went with my gut feeling.
The Watch is light and comfortable; I wear it sleeping and barely notice it. The battery life is phenomenal compared to the Apple Watch.
The fitness settings on the COROS are second to none; I can track my workouts, running, swimming, strength training, and keep a close eye on where I can improve etc. the heart rate and zone running feature is absolutely class.
I can still get call and messages, and I don’t miss the functions that I thought I would from the Apple Watch.
Highly recommended, especially in comparison to costs for a Garmin equivalent.
Absolutely top quality watch. Have it over a month now and it’s been perfect. Battery life is beyond expectations. Lightweight and GPS is very accurate. For the price this has to be one.of the best on the market for the average runner.
Lots of exercises & sports to chose from. More accurate step count than samsung galaxy watch & you can keep track of each muscle group you’ve trained and it shows you in the app
For years I’ve wanted an Apple Watch, mainly for its fitness tracking. But the price has always put me off. In the last six months I’ve gotten more seriously into running and Garmin was the obvious choice. Until a friend showed me his COROS Pace 3. The watch does everything I want and nothing I don’t want. Training plans are easy to set up and follow. The COROS app and online platform crunches all the training data collected from the watch, and it’s free. I’m genuinely stocked on this watch.
Much, much better than the Garmin Forerunner 45 that it has replaced and amazing bang for your buck! Huge battery life, quick satellite fix (a few seconds rather than over a minute sometimes with the Garmin) . Lightweight, comfortable (especially with a nylon strap, separate purchase), easy to record activities and then great app to review your stats afterwards, music can be loaded via a connected laptop (mp3 files). Numerous swappable watch faces so you can change the look whenever you want. So glad I took the plunge and left Garmin. Recommended!
