Bought as a gift but have tried myself. Sound quality is very good but is a smidge too quiet for my taste when run with the PS4. Needs the PS4 at max and the headphone volume almost fully on. Not noise cancelling but headphone cups do a good job of excluding external noise. No issues with the mic. Very comfortable to wear and plenty of scope for adjustment. Both my son and I

Mic is bad but luckly you can get replacment ones since its detachable and the noise cancelation is no existant but good comfy memory foam breathable ear pads Overall decent.

Cheap but not cheap sound quality. Will actually give you good quality without making your deaf because of noise overload. If you don’t need headphones for noise cancellation (like I don’t) you’ll find these to be -really- good because they make things a little bit hard to hear but don’t make you ignorant to the whole world around you. Cable length is decent, not too short or too long that it restricts enjoyment.

Plastic quality is rather poor, sadly, and they will break, mine lasted about 5-months before the plastic began to peel off and lasted a full year before they finally cracked along the headphone pad to the point of being useless.

TL:DR – Don’t buy them if you’re the sort to thrash your headphones about as they will break very quickly, otherwise they’re good.

I bought this along with 3 other headsets to test and for it’s price I would choose this one and the sound quality and use for gaming are good they’re not great but are exactly what you would expect for this price point!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI am pleasantly surprised with its performance. As someone who is always on a tight budget, I was hesitant to spend too much on a headset, but the HS35 offers a great balance of price and quality.

The headset is extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The ear cups are padded and the headband is adjustable, so I can find the perfect fit. The sound quality is also impressive. The audio is clear and detailed, and it works well for both gaming and music.

The built-in microphone is a nice touch, as it allows me to easily communicate with my teammates while gaming. The headset is also compatible with a wide range of devices, including PC, Mac, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch, which is a huge plus.

Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Corsair HS35 Stereo Gaming Headset. It delivers great value for the price and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a budget-friendly headset with good audio performance.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersDoesnt work for 90% of laptops or even controllers. Horrible sound quality, quiet as a mouse despite me blasting the volume. The only reason i voted 5 stars is because ik this way it will get seen. If you force me to spend more money just to make your faulty hardware work it shouldnt be made in the first place.

I’m only now getting around to writing a review of these – my son has used them for nearly 3 years and they are still in perfect condition even after a LOT of use (right through lockdown etc) whilst gaming and listening to Spotify. I think the audio quality is pretty good myself (I’m into hifi) and the mic seems to be of a significantly better quality than those of his friends’ gaming headsets.
Decent price. Of course there are more high end options, but this is very, very good for the price and will last well.

My son said these are really good on sound quality and I can confirm noise cancelling properties as it’s one of the few headphones he’s had where he has to take them off to hear anyone speaking to him in the room. Down side but might just of been faulty one, the plastic band over head snapped within 2 months – they have been replaced free of charge and very quickly and have no qualms over sticking with same head set as they are really good quality & sound. He did have a problem on the first set that the microphone didn’t work straight away, so does bring me to thinking the first set was just a Friday afternoon special. I would recommend them though even with the faulty first pair.

Edit 2nd pair plastic band to top of head snapped again !!! Taped up and continued to use but basically the plastic is too ridged or brittle. Mouth microphone started playing around as well after 12 months. The sound still good but basically no good for gaming anymore

These were better than i thought they were going to be due to the low price point. They are incredibly comfortable to wear for a long time, so no need to worry about headache or earache from wearing for too long. I find the adjustment in the pads good too, as well as the mic being perfectly flexible. I do like the controls available on the left ear side as they are quick and easy to access. I think these headphones dont go as loud as others, and i think the surround sound is very basic, however its barely noticeable so not too much to worry about. The mic is very sensitive and sometimes others in my call will ask me to move it away from my face further due to it being so sensitive. However this can easily be fixed in the consoles menu. The wire that leads to the controller feels premium and is unlikely to break in my opinion. I do think that the sound quality is less than other more expensive headsets however for the price i paid for it its certainly not too much to complain about. I do worry that over time the mic will become too lose and not hold its position, however i could be wrong as i haven’t owned the headset for more than 2 month. From what i can see so far it is a good buy

For the price I think the headphones are really good. I have a pair of Sony wh-1000mx3 so I compare to those.

The earphones are very comfy to wear, the ear cups are slightly larger than the Sony.

I bought to use with windows pc so for gaming I had to tinker with the windows Equalizer but they are quite responsive to changes you make. The bass is quite powerful in Overwatch if you put it on full. For music they also sound pretty good.

I gave them 2 stars for noise cancelling but that is for the sound exiting them. Others don’t need to listen to what you’re listening to but they don’t do anything for outside sound coming in.

The volume on them can be turned up very high, I have them no where near their max level.

Build quality is also pretty decent. They are mostly plastic but don’t feel cheap.
