This fantastic commemorative flag arrived in a clear plastic bag. Inside was a flag featuring the flag colours of four countries — United Kingdom, France, America, Canada. There was the silhouettes of soldiers in landing crafts, and beach defences on the Normandy beaches. Underneath is the text “80th Anniversary D-Day Normandy Landing June 6th 1944 — 2024”.
The flag is good quality but the image is only printed on one side, although on the back of the flag you can see the image but it is in reverse. There are two brass coloured eyelets for attaching onto a rope or cord.
This is certainly a unique and amazing flag, just perfect for anyone wishing to remember and commemorate the Normandy D-Day landings this year on the 80th anniversary. Definitely recommended.
This is a lovely large flag to commemorate a very important date for Britain, and to remember the sacrifice that so many made for Europe’s freedom.
It is a good quality, well printed, large polyester flag, nearly 3 feet x 5 feet (90cm x 150cm) in size. It has eyelets on one side to attach to a flagpole. I don’t have a flagpole so I am going to sew a channel at the top so I can thread a rope through and hang it out of the windows.
