This is room thermometer with humidity meter by Vaikby.
The thermometer has a clear screen with easy to read an LCD and measures just 6.6 x 6.6 x 8.69 cm; and weighs 80 g.
On the back of the thermometer is a kick stand that comes with it and has to be attached and also the battery cover plate for the 2 x2 CR2 batteries that it has listed as “Required” although they are included with the thermometer.
I have found the measurements given by the thermometer quite accurate as I have other gauges in the room as well and they are all approximately the same although other reviews have stipulated it is not accurate maybe they had a fault version.
Overall I would recommend this thermometer as it appears accurate and stands well on the sideboard to keep an eye on the humidity and temperature of a room during winter and summer.
Most importantly, this device is accurate. I compared it to two other, more expensive meters, and the results were within 0.1 degree fahrenheit and 0 to -2% low reading relative humidity. I consider that very impressive performance. The meter is about 2.5×3.5 inches with a narrow 0.25 inch border. The display is large without being intrusive and is easily readable from a distance. Highly recommended.
Geliefert wird das Thermometer in einer bunt bedruckten Pappschachtel.
In dieser befindet sich eine Anleitung und in einem Plastikeinsatz, das Thermometer nebst Hinstellhalterung und 2 Knopf Batterien. Hierbei knnet man locker auf dem unntigen Plastikeinsatz verzichten. Auch ist noch ein kleiner Kleber (Doppelseitig) dabei, damit es an die Wand geklebt werden kann.
Hinten den Deckel aufmachen und die Batterien von unten nach oben einlegen und festdrcken.
Sofort geht die Anzeige an und zeigt die aktuelle Temperatur und die Luftfeuchtigkeit an.
In der Mitte werden ber 3 farbige Balken die Luftfeuchtigkeit bewertet. Entweder zu trocken, genau richtig oder zu feucht. Weiterhin besteht die Mglichkeit von Celsius auf Fahrenheit umzustellen.
Das Thermometer sieht gut aus, das Design passt.
This thermometer/hygrometer is accurate! I ordered this because my old hygrometer is having display issues and because it was off from my humidifier’s reading by more than 5%. This lightweight device can stand up on its own plastic stand or be attached to a wall with the enclosed adhesive square.
I prefer the stand since this will be in my home office. As soon as I unboxed it, I knew my humidity was low, so I filled the humidifier and put it on high. As the moisture rose, the new hygrometer and the aging one stayed in sync. I was amazed how accurate it is considering that the specs are for it to be within 5% humidity, but it matched the other one to 1/2% or better.
If I could take 1/4 point off I would for the unlit lines I see in the display, but it’s still easily readable, so it got the full five stars.
