Soft ear pads and the sound seems to work with no complaints from kids in using these.

Arrived in a display box that had the headphones folded up inside a bubble wrap sheet.

Taking out of the bubble wrap and you can feel the soft headrest sponge on the top band as well as the soft ear pads. They are not thin sponge and have a bit of travel in the compression so are quite soft to the touch.

The folding and unfolding is easy to do for both adults and kids. The folding design is good as they go flatter rather than a rounded shape meaning its easier to drop into a rucksack along with a mobile gaming device.

Having used for a few weeks, there is no wear on the ear pads and the speakers are working perfectly for both ears that there are no complaints….so for me… can recommend these as they are still working.

4.0 out of 5 stars Folds down easily and in a flatter mode to allow putting into a rucksack

My daughter needed a pair of basic headphones for school and these fit the bill. Robust design, folds flat for easy storage in school bag, good sound quality. There’s no volume control or audio out jack (for sharing) and the input is hard wired so you’ll need an adapter to use it with an iPhone or iPad (rather than being able to switch the whole cable). A solid 4 stars.

These cheap and cheerful headphones have served the job perfectly for what we needed which was headphones which my little one could use with his kindle tablet to watch movies etc.

He says they are confortable to wear and the sound is absolutely fine for what he is using it for.

At the price of just under 10 I am perfectly happy with what you get for your money and for the purposes of what we need them for. I also like that the head band has a size adjustment on them so they fit to the shape of the head for the best comfortable fit.

These are not a second pair of ears, they are comfy but they are still quite noticeable. However, these are more comfortable than quite a few of these that we have had over the years. They look cute and stylish. They work quite well. The size is excellent for children. We have not too much use for them but there are occasions when children need to do something on a computer and there are things that I need to do, too, that involve listening to things – these will come in handy. The colour is beautiful pastel and they do look great. The black and blue headphones look great, too.

This is fine quality gaming head set. Light weight and comfortable. Ear pads are soft for ears for longer hours. Sound is clear and just perfectly useful for communicate while playing games with online friends. Works perfectly fine with PS4 controller. My boy is so happy to have it. Price is reasonable too.

These are very good as they’re designed for young children who aren’t quite big enough to fit adult-sized headphones, our son said they were comfortable and didn’t slip off his ears. The noise volume is limited to 85 decibels which can make things hard to hear in noisy environments such as airplanes so the sound quality in these environments is slightly compromised. That said the sound is good and much better than some of the other children’s headphones we’ve tried.

I recently tested these foldable headphones for my nephew. The thing I like most about them is the 85dB volume limiter to protect my nephew’s ears.

The sounds quality is pretty good for headphones in this price range, and given they are a kids product – I wasn’t expecting much, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Another feature I appreciated was the adjustable headband, which made it easy to get the right fit for my nephew’s head, making them comfortable for him to wear.

These are wired headphone, so you don’t need to charge them; it also means they are affordable and they are not complicated to setup.

Overall, these headphones are a good choice for any parent looking to buy reliable, safe, and comfortable headphones for their child. They sound good, reasonably prices and built with kids’ safety in mind.

Firstly, these headphones do work – they aren’t just a toy, they are a set of headphones specifically designed for younger children who are not quite ready for adult sized headphones.

Sound is limited to 85db, which is either a pro or a con depending on what you’ve bought the headphones for. It does limit the sound quality somewhat but is more protective for little kids ears. The sound quality was good and clear and better than some kids headphones I’ve tried in the past but you didn’t get a massive depth of sound, especially on the lower notes. Good enough for kids, but not for adults who buy kids headphones because they have smaller heads.

Appearance wise, I got the pink ones and they are exactly like pictured in the advert. The ear cushions are comfortable and my child reported that they feel okay on their head. They are quite small headphones so really suitable up to about age 8, they are definately young child size and not a youth size (there is a difference).

It’s worth noting that these use a 3.5mm stereo jack, which is normal for kids headphones but may mean you need an adapter to use with some products.

Overall, I would recommend. At 12.99 at time of review, these are decently priced for headphones that really work and will be a good product for kids to use until they are ready for the size and sound range of proper adult headphones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Relatively decent little kids headphones for the price

Whilst we have no issue with the quality or the features of these S1 headphones, we are a little concerned that the ‘braided cord’ has no ‘breakaway’ point, to prevent entanglement when in use by younger children.

This small ‘safety concern’ aside, these S1’s by ‘Earfun’ are exceptional quality and we really appreciate the fact that they have ‘sound limiting’ capability built right in, to prevent noise induced hearing loss.

Asking the children ‘if they feel comfy’ is like asking ‘does that sweet taste nice’, its an immediate ‘yes’ without any real thought to the question, so we have to rely on the fact that they are constructed with really soft padding where its needed, around the ear and inside the headband.

The earphones themselves have a multi axel pivot, which allows a degree of movement, to provide a nice comfy fit against the ear.

Sound quality wise, they sound OK, and again the children say they are great, so its all thumbs up from them.

The Earfun S1 headphones make a great companion to the children’s Fire HD Kids edition tablet, in both looks and quality, and honestly, they enhance the sound quality of the tablet, so again, the children are extremely happy with them.

So apart from the fact that we would have liked to seen a breakaway point like our other headphones that were designed for children, there is very little to fault with these.

High build quality, good sound, foldable and compact for storage or traveling, they come highly recommended by the children.
