Bought this for a month long summer tour round Europe in our car. The fridge was run off the car and a leisure battery charged by the car during the day and run off the second battery overnight. Set at +3C the fridge maintained temperature throughout its month-long operation keeping food and drinks chilled – external temperatures peaked at 36C which caused it no problem. If the incoming voltage drops below ~11V the fridge will alarm, which it did once which was traced to a faulty B2B charger, not the fridge. We tried the fridge at sub-zero temperatures and it worked equally well, but this was not part of our trip. Overall, highly recommended for its quiet operation, speed of chilling and ease of operation.
Bought this to keep food for a trip across France, chills fairly quick and can genuinely achieve the temps it states. Fairly light empty as well, so would unplug it and take onto the beach as a cool box. Can get quite a lot in it and it did well on a recent camping trip too. Controls are dead simple and feels well built, comes with a 240v lead and cigarette lead for the car. Near on silent when it’s running is a massive bonus too.
Excellent fridge I do a lot of camping so I bought this and it’s got to be one of the best I’ve bought as it gets nicely cold. Ideal for solar energy and has plenty of room for food and drinks.
