Such a simple product and design but it allowed my teen to keep her phone nearby at the pool all summer without risking it, and she even got some cool underwater shots using this pouch. Will order again for other phones! Was super useful, and will be again next year!

This is a really great product especially if you like to take your phone on the water or to the pool. I did the waterproof test and this pouch that I received did pass the test. I know that my phone is secure when it is in this pouch. I really appreciated this bag as I was still able to access my phone and use it as if it was not in the pouch. What I really loved was that I was able to take pictures without removing the phone from the pouch. So fabulous. It also floats on the water, so if for some reason it comes away from your neck it will not sink, a great feature. I am so happy with this, and the price is great considering the security it provides and the fact you can use your phone while it’s protected.

We’ve tried a few waterproof phone and PDA cases over the years, from Otterbox to SeaLine to Pelican and various generics. Lately, we’ve been going with generics as many seem just as good as the big brands while being a lot less expensive.

THIS one has an excellent seal, with double “ziplock” seals PLUS a slide-over locking top. Further, said top has redundant lock to prevent it from undoing itself. Not a drop of water got in when it was sealed up and used for kayaking and SUP boarding. (we DO take dunks in the water so it got a good workout)

    Top marks, recommended.

My family recently visited the Bahamas and went snorkeling. Being able to have our phones in the water with us allowed us to document many more memories. My only complaint is the cord used to hang from one’s neck. It’s the texture of paracord and not very comfortable for a long time. I would have preferred something thicker.

This phone pouch is an affordable solution to everyday shallow underwater photography. It’s easy to unlatch and unzip to get your phone in. And it will fit most current smart phones.

One side allows you to use your whole phone screen, while the other has an opening for your camera. Using it underwater functions pretty good. The pouch is filled with some air so don’t try to squeeze it out; this is so that if you lose your phone, the air will make the pouch float to the surface.

Overall, for non-professional use, this is a great waterproof pouch for general underwater photography.

This is a great waterproof pouch, ive had others and I can tell you this feel much more premium and well thought thru design, I dont love the white tho it shows dirt and scuffs easily. Easy to use just follow the instructions and good to test the pouch before you put in your 1000 dollar phone! cool that there is a card slot built in as well. Elago designs great things so was excited to see this product offered.

As an Elago’s product, the design is top-notch and functional.
The cord is built-in and separable for easy opening, which I highly value, especially for scuba diving or other water sports where you don’t know if your phone pouch can get dragged by something and you need to release it immediately.
The dry bag is airy, adding a certain level of buoyancy, yet it won’t bother you if you’re diving. The dry bag itself is sealed, and the 2-step slide-in and locking mechanism securely seal and open the bag with one-hand operation.
The card slot inside fits one credit card.
The only complaint is that you should get the black one if they have it. After one beach trip, the pouch already had visible scratches.

It floats a little bit so don't get this thinking it's a float bag

I have not brought this out to the ocean/pool yet, so therefore cannot truly test the waterproof aspect of it, but I really like the minimalist design. The quality also seems good, the seams are finished well and it’s not difficult to insert and remove your phone.

I owned a waterproof pouch like this previously, but didn’t like the colorful design. It also didn’t have floats on the sides, so it was always in the water and felt quite heavy when I swam. In theory, the floats will help to reduce drag and further helps keeps the phone away from water.

I also love how there is a slot for a credit card and/or ID inside. Very handy in case you wanted to bring that along as well.

Will update my review when I have a chance to take it in water!

It took me a few tries to get the hang of this thing and putting my phone underwater freaks me out butthey do tell you test it first!

It’s essentially a double-folded, thicker, zip storage bag. But again: it’s thicker, somewhat inflated (probably to give it buoyancy), and it’s got 2 zip-things which is then held on by a plastic clamp that has a special plastic clip seal that you have to slide twice (once out 90-degrees, and once up 90-degrees).

It is exactly what it looks like in the photos. In fact, the photos give it more justice because you can see the blown-out image of how it’s put together. Ultimately, if done right, it works. Even if done imperfectly? The fact that it’s folded, zipped, folded, zipped, then clamped, then secured with two slide motions means that it’s likely going to be ok.

I still worry about something sharp piercing it, but I think that’s relatively unlikely (unless intentional). It has to be this way if you want any hope of getting a clear pictureunless it was translucent and solidhmmmI don’t know what the limits are of underwater phone photography. I just think this is something that works for my light use of making me feel more comfortable with my phone in wet places.

The only thing that’s bizarre is this warning about heat possibly deforming it which makes it seem like it might be in danger at the beach because of the sun’s UV rays. But this is in the product info soyeah.

    hope this helps!
