This cooler box can be powered by either a 3-pin plug or the car charger. It is quite large and more than sufficient holding loads of can drinks. The box itself is quite heavy.
I have not used the hot function but the cooler box is good at keeping the food/drinks cool.
Very roomy but it’s pretty loud! We used it camping for one night but the loud buzzing meant had to put earplugs in to sleep
Next morning it had water in the bottom to about 1 cm
Shame as a very nice large box with compartment and even the 240 plug!
It measured the temps created at max cooling setting. After 2-3 hours some parts of the bin were at 9c which more than enough to keep liquids chilled and pleasant. This was against a 22c ambient room temp. So it does the job! This was using the mains, but my in my car it’s a different matter. My car – already has a built in cooler compartment next to the gear stick (I love my 3008!) so this will have to use the boot’s cigarette lighter and only with the engine running – else the battery would have died. Amazing cooler – I love it!
Dislikes: sparse manual. We could have more examples of use.
