I’ve been using the ESR MagSafe Car Charger for over a year now, and it’s been a dependable companion for my daily commutes. The magnetic hold remains strong, keeping my iPhone secure even after extensive use. Fast charging has been a consistent feature, proving especially useful on longer drives.
The versatility of dashboard and windshield mounting options has been great for adjusting to different vehicles and finding optimal viewing angles. It’s worked well with my iPhone, and I’m glad it’s compatible with newer models too.
After a year of regular use, I did encounter an issue when the nut snapped. This happened outside the 1-year warranty period, which was disappointing. However, I was genuinely impressed by the company’s customer service response. Despite being out of warranty, they quickly sent a replacement part at no cost. This level of support well beyond the warranty period significantly boosted my confidence in the product and the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction.
The charging speed has remained consistent throughout the year, though it’s naturally not as fast as some wired options. While the magnetic alignment took some getting used to initially, it became second nature over time.

This is my third charger I have purchased not because they break, but because I stick them in every family members car this one is for my sister, but I was happy to get a go on it first
I love that it has Qi2 charging which means it has a good speed and keeps the heat down so your phone isn’t like a hot pocket when you’ve finished your journey. It’s flexible so you can move it to different positions, so very versatile. Overall solid performance.
It’s very stable -sticks to the dash well, holds the phone steady. What More could you want exactly? exactly?
Used in my car – a godsend because the charging port on my iPhone doesn’t work and now I can charge on the move again. Decent and responsible packaging. Set up video plus user guide. Has USB C cable, but a cheap adapter lets me use with my car’s USB A port.
This is an amazing MagSafe charger. I have used this on a Skoda Enyaq although it was made for a Tesla . It will fit most of the elec care with screens. Fast charging and works well if you want to twist back out of the way or twist the phone so that you can change to portrait viewing. Very impressed and happy!
Being able to magnetically attach the phone is great for a quick entry or exit, with no more mucking around with wires. My only complaint is that it seems to take a while to start charging my phone; I’ll attach the phone and it starts charging only to cut out after a few seconds, start and stop again a few more times before finally charging consistently.
The ESR Qi2 15W MagSafe Car Mount Charger is a reliable bit of gear, with easy mounting on your dash aiding easy navigation. The five best attributes are fast wireless charging; Secure magnetic lock; Stable and lightweight; Easily mounted; and you can view it in portrait or landscape. These adjustable viewing angles combined with the strong magnetic hold it is without doubt excellent value for money.
However, be mindful, for those who are on the road for long hours, then you will need to keep the charger in your car, thus ensuring you never run out of juice for navigation music streaming and hands free calls.
Unfortunately this device is not compatible with the iPhone 12 series upwards but if you have an older version of iPhone, it will be simply a case of getting in, pop your phone onto the magnet and you are off, no more messing with a bunch of wires. In summary this MagSafe is worth every penny as compared with other similar devices.

This item is so much more functional and way easier to use than the generic phone holders you’d usually get. It is sturdy, very versatile, as I was quite creative with the placement of my one, whilst also being value for many due to its MagSafe and charging features.
There are so many ways to operate this stand and you will be sure to find a suitable position for it to be placed in your vehicle.

I was a little dubious about how strong the mount would be on the dashboard especially as it’s not a smooth surface but I’ve got to say it’s really strong. You can feel the quality and the phone part of the mount feels solid and gives a good connection to the phone. The charging seems quick compared to connecting direct to the car without this mount. Very happy so far.
I recently purchased the ESR Qi2 car charger, and it has exceeded all my expectations. This charger is a game-changer for me and I find it to reliable and efficient charging solution on the go to work and on the school run. The Qi2 update is excellent and ensures fast and safe charging for my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I’ve been using ESR products for my iOS devices for over a year now, and I still rely on the first-gen Halolock. Their build quality is excellent, and they have a strong magnetic lock. Since I’m upgrading to a Tesla next month, I have the chance to test the new Qi2 Touchscreen car charger with my old vent mount. I immediately noticed that my iPhone doesn’t heat up as much as with the first-gen charger and charges quite quickly, though it’s not a significant difference. The mount’s build quality is impressive and will definitely complement a Tesla’s interior. Overall, I’m very pleased with this new Qi2 car charger.
Installation was breeze. Very easy to follow instructions. Suction mount works really well on windshield. But it didn’t work on my gla dashboard. Be careful when you mount it on the windshield as it might block your view.
This is excellent, the very strong sticky pad easily fixed to my leather dashboard which I was sceptical about as I thought it would need to be plastic. My street has multiple speed bumps and it appears to be very sturdy. The magnet is also very strong (I do also have an ESR mag case) and charging is also really fast. Highly recommended
This was best fit for my car over vented clamps. It is really stuck down well! Love that it turns 360* so phone is in perfect position. Have bought another since as was impressed. Charges great! Looks nice , very sturdy and does the job!
This phone cradle by ESR adds on to my great collection of high quality, great practicality and great design. This is a super sturdy and functional cradle I couldn’t do without on my day to day driving around. The plastic used to manufacture this phone cradle is of a superb quality and the sucking system is amazing!!! I set it up in the car this morning and looks amazing!
This is the best car phone holder I’ve ever used. Phone is held firmly by the magnetic plate and is charged wirelessly. Low profile when not used (unlike some non-magnetic holders). Unfortunately the nut behind the magnetic plate developer a crack after a couple of years of use and it couldn’t be tightened up enough to hold the phone up. ESR support sent the replacement after I contacted them and it arrived the next working day! Thank you!
I bought a Quadlock case, mount and the wireless adapter that was needed for the P8P. Great stuff, but the one thing that all the current mag chargers suffer from, is there coils are in the wrong place. The P8 (and from what I have read, the P7 too) has a charging coil that is offset. It’s slightly further south of the G, on the back of the phone.
ESR has addressed this situation (currently, there is only one company that provides the correct case, which is Mous) by providing a separate MagSafe that sticks to the back of a phone case. It works. Chargers at the speed you need, given you provide the required port speed.
The one setback this mount has, is that it runs VERY hot. Given the current climate, no problem, but come summer, I’m sure this could be a problem. We’ll see.
Thank you though, ESR, for providing a practical and cheaper alternative. Mous, like Quadlock, expect us to spend over 100 for a case and mount.
