The wooden toy tea set is a delightful addition for young children’s pretend play. The pieces are well-crafted and sturdy, making them suitable for repeated use. The set includes a good variety of items, though the teapot and cups could be a bit larger for easier handling. Overall, it’s a charming and engaging toy that encourages imaginative play, with minor improvements needed in size.

Love the fact these products are made non plastic and out of wooden for young children. Especially when they like to throw things about as they feel pretty durable and have not broken – as of yet! They are a great set with pans and lids, food replicas and helps with roleplay creating a great imagination.

This is a lovely wooden play set for kids, which helps them to learn through play. The colours on the set match with the photo, and the variety of vegetables with the cooking pans, spoon and spatula make for really fun play. The oven glove is also a nice touch and makes it an authentic play experience, and it allows you to teach kids about kitchen safety as well.

It comes in a stylish cardboard box, with photos of the items on the front and a couple of them on display too, which makes it a perfect gift.

While we want to try and buy environmentally responsible toys, we also want to buy toys that will last a lot of play, and that are within the price bracket that we can afford.

This is a lovely set and would make a nice gift, but it is pricey for what you get and for who it’s for.

I’m absolutely thrilled with the Fisher-Price Wooden Kitchen Pots and Pans Set. Seeing my son grow and engage with this toy for hours brings me so much joy. He loves pretending to cook vegetables in the pan, and the sparkle in his eyes shows just how happy he is. It’s heartwarming to watch him so deeply immersed in imaginative play. The set includes 19 wooden pieces, featuring a variety of kitchen utensils, as well as vegetables like broccoli, tomatoes, fish, and mushrooms, plus an oven mitt. The wood quality is excellent, and as with all Fisher-Price products, it’s evident that safety and durability have been a top priority. This set isn’t just fun – it also supports my son’s educational development by enhancing his awareness of different foods and cooking tools. It’s perfect for helping him remember vegetable names and practice fine motor skills. It’s a fantastic addition to his playtime, combining fun with learning.

It is always encouraging to see businesses making an effort to create more sustainable products. In the case of children’s toys, making them out of wood can have its pros and cons.

Overall, this tea set is beautifully designed and visually appealing to look at, using a choice of pastel colours instead of bright primary ones. All the pieces are sturdy and lightweight, with a smooth finish.

There isn’t any information on the box as to whether the paint used on the teapot or cups is food-safe. Children often want to put their water or juice in the receptacles when playing tea parties, and the inside of the teapot doesn’t seem to be primed with anything, so I’m unsure whether liquids would penetrate the wood. Also the spout is purely cosmetic, so this may also disappoint little ones.

The handles on the cups and the teapot spout are glued on and may come loose with rough play. There are also a number of open screw heads, especially on the underside of the tray, which can be removed with a standard screwdriver and would pose a choking hazard.

Supervised properly, and with a thorough dose of imagination, this charming set will provide fun times.

This tea set toy is made of high-quality raw wood materials, clear and natural texture, warm and delicate touch, no odour, fully demonstrating the natural beauty of wood and environmental protection concept. Each piece of wood has been carefully selected and polished, with smooth edges and no burrs, ensuring the safety and comfort of children in the process of use. Craftsmanship, the details are handled properly, whether it is the design of the spout of the teapot or the curvature of the mouth of the teacup, all of which reflect the craftsmen’s exquisite skills and deep understanding of tea culture.
In terms of design, this tea set toy cleverly integrates the elements of traditional tea sets, such as the small teapot, delicate tea cups and matching tea plates, etc. The shape is simple and uninteresting, and the colours are light and lively, which is very suitable for children’s initial exploration of traditional culture and interest cultivation. At the same time, it also has a certain degree of creativity, for example, it can be freely combined with different colours or shapes of wood blocks to create a more diverse combination of tea sets, stimulating children’s imagination and creativity.
This wooden tea set toy is not only a game tool, it is also a cultural carrier for education and fun. By playing with this tea set, children can understand and learn the basics of Chinese tea culture, such as the steps of making tea, the use of tea utensils, etc., in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere, thus cultivating their interest in and respect for traditional culture. In addition, by manipulating these wooden tea sets, children can also practice hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, patience and concentration, thus promoting their overall physical and mental development.

I must say that this set is charming. It is made from wood, and the packaging is cardboard—no plastic in sight. It is very eco-friendly. The chosen colors of the various pieces are lovely and very pleasing. The finish of the pieces is of very high quality, with the wood feeling silky smooth to the touch. It is clear that Fisher Price has put a great deal of thought into the development of this range of children’s toys.

However, when thinking about this set in particular, I feel the concept is a bit muddled. It is called a tea set, but I found it a tad disappointing. There are two small cups that are rather chunky due to being made of wood. Until I read the description, I couldn’t work out that what appeared to be coasters were, in fact, supposed to be saucers. These saucers do not have any indents, so the cups slide about. The teaspoons are too big—the scale is just not right—and do not seem to belong to the cup and saucer. Because the saucer has no shaping, there is no way for the spoon to sit and be contained in it.

The teapot has clean lines, and I really like its shape and well-fitting lid. However, when I was a child, my mini teapot was made of china, and we had squash in it, which we could pour as though it were tea. This wooden teapot cannot hold liquids, so there is no hole from the body of the pot to the spout. For this to be a tea set, there really ought to be a sugar bowl and milk jug. A flat, coaster-shaped plate and two wooden ‘cupcakes’ do not compensate for their absence. I suspect trying to keep the set within financial constraints led to this version, but it is neither a traditional tea set nor a modern one using mugs, milk jug, and teapot, or even just a teabag and kettle. It is a bit of a conundrum.

Very young children will enjoy the pretend play, and the quality is exceptionally good. I just found it disappointing.
