Highly impressed with this mini PC. I requested a link from Customer Service to download drivers, and my request was dealt with by SHIRLEY, politely and efficiently. I now have a backup in case of problems.
They have packed so much value in such a small package. It works out of the box, windows 11 is installed. However I would like to have the option to choose a cheaper Linux version.
Even though it has 32GB ram, it quickly takes up 50 % and even a small memory intensive app makes the fan go crazy.
Tried running basic ai models, they are comparatively fast but am not sure how long will they run until the device gets super hot and shuts down.
The size scared me! I couldn’t believe it could handle what I had on my old computer, but it does with much room to spare! My computer tech (who recommended it) is sooo right. I love this little marvel!
Le bruit du ventilateur ! Je rejoins les autres personnes qui ont le mme soucis. Service aprs-vente qui sont prts aider donner les manips faire sauf que je comprends rien et j’y arrive pas. Si il y avait un tuto sur youtube a aiderait ! Le bruit pour ma part est insupportable ! Mme ds un placard je l’entends. C’est le gros gros problme. L’ordinateur sinon est super ! ! Rapide comme tout j’adore ! J’ai vraiment besoin d’aide pour le ventilateur !
Achet pour pc de bureau + jeux. Ce pc est trs compact et invisible sur mon bureau une fois fix derrire l’cran avec le kit fourni.
Il rpond parfaitement mes attentes et suffisamment puissant pour mes besoins.
Son seul dfaut est d’tre un peu bruyant malgr sa petite taille (bruit de la ventilation)
Ricevuto il prodotto acquistato, sembra di buona fattura con case in alluminio, ed esteticamente carino da vedere, buone prestazioni, all’apertura della confezione Amazon, il prodotto sembra usato e rimesso in commercio, scatola originale senza sigilli di chiusura, il mini pc senza le pellicole di protezione sul case di alluminio, come si vede da video e foto di altri utenti,un gommino di supporto sporco di(penso polvere), il problema stato risolto con gentilezza, disponibilit e tempestivit,e seriet, offrendomi un regalo per l’accaduto. Consiglio vivamente questo venditore, io far acquisti futuri con loro sicuramente. GRAZIE E BRAVI
Da ich nicht wirklich auf die Mae geachtet hatte, war ich sehr positiv berrascht wie klein der Rechner doch ist. Windows 11 ist vorinstalliert und in unter 1 Stunde benutzbar. 1 Stern Abzug, da die BIOS Version nicht aktuell war und damit auch das Problem des lauten Lfters vorhanden war. Also an alle, die ber einen lauten Lfter meckern: BIOS updaten (Anleitung findet man im Internet) und schon funktioniert die Lftersteuerung (evtl. im BIOS noch “quiet” auswhlen).
La PC en si funciona optima y es muy rpida y compacta. El nico detalle es que la ventilacin es muy ruidosa, pero igual la valoracin general es muy buena
It does all I want from a family pc. I attached it to the back of my monitor and now its tucked away out of sight. The disadvantage of doing this is when you need to attach a cable or turn it off its a bit awkward reaching behind. It randomly turns itself off when inactive which is a bit annoying but it doesn’t happen that often. Overall a good buy as long as you don’t expect too much like gaming or intensive workloads. Amazing for the size – not much bigger than a pack of cigarettes ! This review is after several months and its been fine.
I have been using this Geekom mini-PC for 2 months now and very pleased with the performance.
It sits on a shelf at the bottom of my computer table. You can expand the memory and add a second
SSD drive. Super-fast performance from the 8th gen i5 CPU.
Overall, a great value mini-PC for under 400.
This device packs quite a punch for the price and is well constructed.
It is easy to replace the supplied NVMe drive with a larger one if you wish,
I used a 1Tb NVME drive from Crucial. I then used Macricun Reflect to restore the partitions to the larger drive.
I also added a 250Gb SATA III drive in the supplied case slot, which I use for the Download folder and Steam games.
The RAM is also easy to upgrade I added a second 8Gb DDR4 sodimm to make 16Gb in total which acrivated dual channel memory mode.
The supplied Windows 11 pro is easy to setup and I upgraded it to the latest 22H2 version
without any problems.
I didn’t find find the fan to much of a distraction but support did offer a BIOS
upgrade to make it even quieter at the cost of some possible increase in unit temperature.
The unit does no break a sweat on normal Internet, e-mail, youtube videos etc and even
plays some Steam games OK (but not the latest ones needing a high spec graphics card).
I did find that my unit would not display video via the rear USB C DP port even after using multiple cables and monitors.
The port did work correctly for plugged in data devices.
After a number of diagnostic e-mails with support it was decided that the port was defective.
Hats off to GEEKOM and the support team (special thanks to winnie) as they replaced
the faulty unit with a new one and that function now works perfectly.
I have no hesitation in giving 5 stars and a thumbs up to GEEKOM and there support team
who provided a 1st class service.
Bought the 256gb SSD and 8g memory version. I added another 8gb of memory and added my own
1tb SSD from my old pc to the spare slot. It was quite easy to fit the upgrades. I switched on the Box
and it went through the Windows 11 set up with no problem. It is a genuine Windows 11 Pro and as far as I can tell no bloatware. Having all my old files on the 1tb SSD I had fitted it was no problem to set it up to my liking. All of my old apps work fine with no sign of any slow down. The graphics are very good and streaming video is perfect. Most of the time it is very quiet but when it works hard you can hear the fan.
Its not loud enough to be annoying. The power saving compared to my old Tower system is tremendous
I can’t comment on Serious Gaming but the light gaming its ok. Overall a Very Good Buy
