Brought from Amazon warehouse and couldn’t be happier . The box was damaged but I got it at a great price 25, instead of the sale price.
It didn’t matter about the box as we built it.
Super easy to build.
I wish I had got the biggest size for the garden but it will last for the summe
This is a great product the only thing I would say is invest in some heavy duty pegs to peg it down as the ones included do not keep the goal in place and bend easily
Seeing as I bought this for my kids I decided that they could set it up at their mum’s house and play to their heats content. I sent it back with them last week and have been awaiting the verdict ever since.
According to my son, aged 11, set up was easy and when he unboxed it the frame of the goal was sectional but was actually joined by a long length of cord so there is no guesswork as to what goes where. While building the framework you had to push it through the edge of the netting (shown in orange in my pictures), this means the netting is firmly secured to the frame.
The frame at the back also goes through the netting and then attaches to the front frame by means of a couple of 90 degree bends then the net is staked down using large tent peg type stakes which then hooked over the frame and netting on the sides and back..
So there we have it bought for kids and made by kids, my daughters only slight complaint was that the instructions were all pictures but for kids who aren’t used to flat pack furniture instructions they were perfectly legible. The verdict is it’s sturdy enough to kick a ball into, easy to set up and take down, it’s fully portable and they gave it a 10 out of 10…
The goal arrives neatly packaged in its own little bag with simple instructions to set up. You simply connect the poles which is very easy and quick, thread them through the orange and black sleeves and connect the corner pieces and you’re done. For a moment I thought I’d bent one set but the wider set goes through the black sleeve which perhaps wasn’t as clear in the instructions. Once up (which took 5 mins with little distractions trying to help) it is a big goal and nice bright colour. Works perfectly my eldest loves being a goaly in it. Due to its size it’s not one of those you can easily fold up to store you would need to take it apart however, if you just pull the corner connectors off you could fold it flat and pop it away like that or take it with you in the car like that to take to a playing field. I’d say the goal is a good size for young ones to shoot at due to its size but to be goaly in its a bit big as of course it’s easier to score past my little 4 year old! So age range probably 5 and above if you have a trainee goaly on your hands! You get one goal in the pack and it’s great and easy to use, kids love it.
