Please keep in mind that you can easily use cold and warm water through your Hose but please DO NOT use hot water as the hose and all other expandable hoses are made of a latex inner tube which will wear away at a faster pace.
Quality of this product isn’t too bad, it’s better than I expected if I’m honest. I certainly wouldn’t call it a replacement for a high-quality hose, however it is perfect for somebody who only uses it once in a blue moon and want something that can be coiled back up into a small area and just putting in a cupboard.
Lightweight design, leakages, and/connectors are decent qualities as well for what it is.
Good performance from a cheap priced product, happy to recommend
Works well. I’m not convinced it’s 100ft, but it does get bigger with more water. Used to replace a similar hose which split after 5 years use. I’m hoping this lasts just as long. Took a while to attach to the tap as I had to remove the attachment that most hoses connect too. Fits my water gun perfectly. It does seem lighter weight than my old one. Happy so far, long may it las
My partner loves to water the garden and wash our cars, whereas neither activity interests me in the slightest, so this review is his input.
The hose came with different attachments so he was able to use it straightaway, it did not tangle or kink and easily stretched from kitchen to back garden. The third time he used it, he managed to soak himself as you need to release the pressure from the nozzle end before removing from the tap. Apart from that minor mishap (operator error), the hose comes with his 4-star recommendation.
So the description states this is a:-
Hose pipe for garden 100ft/30m. Lightweight flexible garden hose, garden hose with double latex core. Hose pipe solid brass fittings, Tough expanding hose pipes kink-free ~ 100ft ~ Blue.
*** The hose expands three times its original size.
I love these flexible hoses as me and my family have all got them and used them for many years. BUT you do get good and bad ones sadly on the market.
You don’t need any tools to attach the hose and spray head nor the hose to the tap because it’s all screwed on or pushed on. Win win…
I would recommend when using, you turn the water on, don’t start at full speed as you have a high chance of breaking the inner tube. Start off low and slow give the pipe time to enlarge itself as it will get 3 times its original side. You can adjust the water control on the top of the handle and then turn the head to choose which one of the 10 spray patterns you want or need.
Once finished, turn off the water and let it fully drain, the set comes with a hang to collect and keeps the pipe up off the floor.
*** This hose has a pressure resistant latex centre and polyester fabric cover.
It can withstand:-
* A water pressure 3-12 Bar.
* Temperature 5c ~ 45c.
I would recommend you detach the hose and pack away in the winter.
The price at the time of this review is 20.99.
So far so good
But I will update this review if needed.

When this turned up I was wondering if they’d sent me the shorter one by mistake, but hook it up to a water supply and it soon swells to its true size. Two of the review photos show before (one loop) and after (one wiggly loop), with a third showing it extended out properly.
Something to note of course is that it relies on water pressure to keep its size. Run a wide-open spray nozzle or a pressure washer on it and it quickly shrinks, growing again when the item in use is turned off. This means that if using it on a very low-pressure supply, such as a gravity feed from a water butt, you’re not going to get a hundred feet out of it.
The soft fabric outer layer means its a good option for when washing the car, as it’s going to be less abrasive if it hits the bodywork.
A little tip for when changing tools: if you don’t want to get soaked, just pinch the hose. Don’t drop it though, as you’ll see in the review video it’s like an angry spitting cobra when it hits the deck.
The included tap adapter with threaded reducer are lighter than brass, I suspect they’re brass-coloured aluminium, but the original Hozelock fittings they’re compatible with are plastic anyway, so it’s not a big deal. The outer-threaded one though (with a finer-pitched thread), I’m pretty sure that one’s brass.
I finally got around to using this hose to see how it coped with watering all the pot plants on our back patio. I have always used a traditional hose that I have fixed to a reel on the wall by the back door. That has always worked OK but has a habit of getting trapped or wrapped around pots, so using this new hose was an interesting test.
The most positive aspects of it are that it is very light and flexible which made moving so that I could water all the pots much easier. One thing I did find is that the path from the backdoor to the rear of the house is rough concrete and this hose a couple of times got caught on it like Velcro, it was rather odd, but not an issue. I also found that fitting the spray gun took a fair bit of force to ensure it was on and locked in position. I think both these issues are because this hose is new. The hose fittings feel solid and are made of what looks like Brass. The hose quietly expands and contracts depending on the pressure in it.
The price 20 at time of review I think is fair. The key thing now is how long it will last and hopefully I will not know that for some time, but even the best of hoses do not last forever . . . . .
It expands and contracts after use, plus lightweight and kink free. Just what I needed to water the front of the property whilst running from the back of the house and through the property.

5 Stars for now from me and the plants.
