I ordered this for my 9 year old nephew and he’s spent hours and hours on this- it’s definitely been a hit.
Quality item, as you’d expect from hot wheels, that both children and adults alike can enjoy. Appears very sturdy, which it absolutely has to be with the amount of things it can do. I’d be more worried about home furnishings than this toy if it crashed into something (which is a likely hazard).
Remote control allows you to do lots of different tricks, with lights and sounds to enhance the experience. It is rather loud and fast, so where a parent might not approve, any child absolutely would.
Charge time isn’t massively long and you do get quite a lot of charge time before it requires charging again.
My nephew has enjoyed learning tricks on the this, both inside and outside the house (it performs well on a lot of different terrain).
60 feels a little steep but actually when you think about it being a branded high quality item that does a lot, I actually think it’s priced well for what you receive.
Overall we’ve been pleased and happy to recommend.
This is a well thought out car that kids love when they start using it. Very large, simple to use and good quality this would make a great gift. Overall very happy with it.
Una pasada ! De los Monster Trucks que hemos tenido de Hot Wheels, este es el mejor. Tiene un montn de detalles que lo hacen un gran regalo, y es muy divertido de conducir y pasar por encima de obstculos.
EL DISEO
Es espectacular. Muy grande, con ruedas gigantes, y parece una autntica bestia, con dientes y todo. Los ojos tienen luces, y las ruedas tambin, y a oscuras queda alucinante. Y el sonido le da un toque espectacular.
RESISTENCIA
Es resistente a los impactos. Se puede golpear tranquilamente con la pared o con otros coches, y queda intacto. Se nota que tiene una buena fabricacin.
OBSTCULOS
Para m es lo principal en este tipo de coches: y cumple con creces. Si pones obstculos en el camino, los sobrepasa sin mucha dificultad. Si pones otros coches pequeos de unos 5 centmetros, pasa por encima sin inmutarse. Cuando detecta los obstculos, pasa al modo impacto (luces rojas).
ACROBACIAS
Puede hacer algunas acrobacias, como rodar sobre solo las ruedas traseras. Un truco muy bueno.
CONTROL
Responde rpido a las rdenes del mando a distancia. Muy bien. Solo necesita unas pilas para funcionar.
LO MEJOR
* Pese a todo lo anterior, es muy ligero, no pesa nada.
* Cuando se recarga la batera tambin tiene luces en las ruedas, muy original. Se carga a travs de USB.
RECOMENDADO PARA REGALO COMO COCHE TELEDIRIGIDO.
My nephew loved this toy and as an adult testing it I had fun playing this so much. It is super fun also this is a really good quality monster truck toy its so easy to use and the remotes makes it really fun on how it works and its easy to navigate. Battery do last long on the truck since its rechargeable however the remote needs AAA Batteries and no battery provided so you have to use your own. But so i really love the quality of this truck definitely kids will love it.

If your little monsters like their toy cars then they will love this Hot Wheels RC monster truck. It is big, huge in fact, noisy, tough, and a lot of fun. I found it easy to use, as and anyone who knows me will tell you, I am not the most dextrous person in the world, and for the youngsters who like their video games, controlling this thing is a doddle. There are three play settings to choose from and they all change the character of the toy. It is also very robust and the only concern I have it is it damaging the things it crashes in to! The price may be too much for some, but you do get what you pay for, it is great fun and a toy that should last for years. 5 Stars.
Coche teledirigido de marca Hot Wheels, lo cual quiere decir dos cosas, que te asegura o se presupone cierta calidad y confianza en que compras algo bueno, como que de igual manera lo pagas. Pero bueno si crees que al crio le va a gustar, como ha sido el caso, merece la pena ya que realmente est muy chulo, es de un tamao bastante grande, la forma de dinosaurio impresiona y cuando se encienden los ojos, dientes y dems an ms, tambin se iluminan las llantas de las ruedas. Tiene sonidos variados, como rugidos o en general como si estuviese cabreado, que suenan cuando golpea algo con el parachoques. En general es para ir chocando y aplastando cosas, por lo que para un crio inquieto le sirve para desahogarse jeje aunque evidentemente no deja de ser un coche teledirigido que se puede conducir como cualquier otro, ademas el mando me gusta porque es de los clsicos, con dos josticks que me parece ms sencillo de manejar. A tener el cuenta el coche se carga con un cable USB, as que no hay que andar gastando pilas, unicamente al mando que lleva un par AAA pero ah no se gastan rpido.
Al tener la oportunidad de probar este producto no lo dude un segundo porque tenemos un super-fan de los Monster Trucks (desde los 2 y recin cumple 10!), especialmente los de Hot Wheels y su favorito aunque tiene muchos que le gustan es sin duda Mega Wrex!! La verdad es que a mi personalmente cada uno de los grandes me parece un trasto ms, pero al ver el despliegue de este Mega Wrex teledirigido he de reconocer que creo que es el nico que dira que vale la pena! Da muchsimo ms juego que los dems que ha tenido o probado, incluso un super Megalodn de Monster Jam y todos los teledirigidos que hemos probado y visto a lo largo de los aos.
Hemos esperado unos das para poder regalrselo para su cumple y sinceramente ha dicho que de todos los regalos (a lo largo de los aos) este ha sido el mejor! ja ja tan fascinado se ha quedado. Tiene muchos ms sonidos de lo que esperaba, se dirige super bien y responde muy bien (segn dice) y hace mil piruetas como ponerse a dos ruedas. Aparte el despliegue de luces que en el anuncio me pareca un tontera ms es de verdad muy chulo. He puesto slo dos fotos de los colores a oscuras (todas las luces apagadas) para que se aprecie cmo luce, pero tiene un rango de tonalidades y cambios mucho mayor.
El Mega Wrex tiene una batera de litio que se carga con USB y el mando lleva dos triple A. Para m, la nica pega es que el mando, como la mayora y considero que es un fallo, no tiene botn de encendido o apagado, as que adelanto que fundir ms bien rpido las pilas, pero est an por ver y actualizar.
Por lo dems una pasada, para el peque, o ya no tan peque, e incluso para nosotros como espectadores. La verdad es que da para mucho juego y mil piruetas! He puesto el mismo modelo original en escala 1:64, para que se vea la diferencia con este 1:15. El Devora coches es ligeramente ms grande, por lo que este es grande pero mucho ms manejable!
Para cualquier fan de Monster Trucks un super regalo, pero para fans de Hot Wheels o Mega Wrex, indispensable en la coleccin! Creo que es de las pocas cosas que dira que valen su precio, porque muchos de estas caractersticas o ms bien dimensiones rondan el mismo precio, unos 60-65 (el Megalodn vala eso), e incluso muchas pistas, pero no creo que lo valgan…sin embargo este por todo lo que ofrece creo que s. Lo nico que est por ver es lo que dura la batera.
My youngest nephew has has a lot of fun with this remote control car, he really likes how it lights up and makes noise and it’s kept him well occupied whilst I’ve been gardening.
The remote is small, which would be good for smaller kids, but at nine years old it’s a bit small. The size doesn’t affect the controls though so it works well enough, no battery for the remote is provided though so you do need a couple of AAA batteries to hand. The battery in the car itself is rechargeable which is handy, and I particularly appreciate that the charging cable can be stored in the cubby under the car so it’s to hand. Charging takes about an hour, but once fully charged the battery lasts really well.
Having the car light up and talk is a nice feature, and it’s definitely eye catching, especially at night. The three modes are pretty distinct and the way the truck wheelies on command sets it apart from other remote control cars I’ve seen. The large wheels cope with a variety of terrains, so it can be used in the garden during the summer (provided it’s dry weather) which is nice since it keeps the kids occupied whilst I’m doing jobs out there. It’s easy to learn how to control, a bit more difficult to master but certainly an enjoyable learning process.
Overall I’m very pleased with this toy, it’s good quality, engaging for kids and well designed to cope with the rigours of extended playtime so should last well giving decent value for money. I’d definitely recommend it for 6-13 year old. 5*

The quality and range of features is impressive.
The most impressive feature of this toy is its SIZE. At 1: 15 scale it really is a monster truck.
Immediately tried by our grandson by driving over mounds of his current standard size toy cars.
It can tackle just about any obstacle in our garden and patio area with ease
The sound and light effects are very entertaining (for kids).
I particularly like the ease of recharging withing the need to remove internal battery packs like other RC toys we have had in the past.
I am not sure that the expensive price tag is totally justified.
Overall, great fun and very robust so far.
Nice bit radio controlled monster truck with lots of sounds and lights as you’d expect for a monster truck I guess. Controller is a little small but that I think is to cover a larger range of age groups as good for a 5 year old upwards.
So in use it starts off in normal mode and over time (basically crashing into stuff) will enter angry mode (Mega-Wrex) where it will go a little faster and change lights to red ( the red mode looks good in a dark room). It can pull wheelies but will drag the back along doing this so be aware thats going to take some scratches over time.
Charges by USB C and feels sturdy enough
I think if it didnt say hotwheelz on the box it would be much cheaper to be honest but then your paying for not just the name but the higher quality, durability, and safety that brings.
Oh and parents read the instructions there is a way to make it quite (just dont show the kids as they will work out how to cancel it 🙂 )
Well, this Hot Wheels Monster Truck means business, it’s brutal, it’s brash and there’s nothing that can stop it, well besides a brick wall that is.
I remember the old Hot Wheels that came with a racing track, with loop the loops and then something that pushed the toy with great speed down a ramp, so was really surprised to see that they also make RC toys, and needless to say I jumped at the chance of trying and reviewing this when they offered it to me.
Firstly, it’s big, very big, bigger than a Childs head, bigger than my head even, and that’s saying something.
It does light up but not noticeable in good daylight but looks great in the dark.
It comes with a built in rechargeable battery and a little compartment underneath that holds the charging cable, I thought that was a neat idea. The on off switch is next to that compartment.
When you plug it in to charge it lights up and pulses and it also snores as if it’s sleeping, I did love that.
The controller is small, perfect for little hands and is very simple to use, just two joysticks for forward/revers and turning, it will require two AAA batteries though.
The tyres on the truck itself are hard plastic with a rubber tread, I did find that these didn’t really grip well on the patio but worked well on gravel.
The speed is either stop, or full throttle, you can just about control this by constantly pushing and releasing the joystick but is a bit tricky so expect a lot of bumps and crashes, so just as well the truck is as tough as old nails and will withstand this treatment, plus it will make a whole load of different noises when bumping into things.
If it rolls over it will get stuck but obviously this isn’t really a problem, just a bind if it’s some distance away.
There is a shoulder button on the controller that makes it rear up on the back wheels and make some noises, that’s quite good fun to play around with and to annoy the parents as it rides up their leg.
All in all this monster truck is great fun and I do feel that the fun will last for quite a long time.
And yes, I would recommend this for all ages, including us old ones.
This is a great toy, excellent quality finish, fun to operate for a wide range of ages and visually very appealing in terms of design. The price bracket is on the high side but when it comes to performance, there is a lot on offer here. Lots of fun guaranteed!
