This is a good quality BBQ rack/basket and holds a decent amount of food but possibly only best if you are doing a BBQ for a smaller group, unless you have more than one of these or do not require some of your food items to be placed in the rack.
The rack holds 4 — 6 average sized burgers or other foods that take up this amount of space.
The basket is of a solid quality but has one flaw. The unit is supplied with a wooden insert that you place inside the metal handle frame but this in no way protects you from the heat generated by the metal handle frame, a real design flaw I think. The handle would be far easier to use if there was a wooden handle that went over/around the metal handle section. I have resorted to using an old tea towel wrapped around the handle just for that extra layer of protection. I should add that the handle doesn’t get red hot, it’s not going to burn you but you wouldn’t want to keep hold of it for a prolonged period of time.

Cheap alternative to flipping burgers but not the best.
This as a grilling rack for a BBQ does save you from losing Burgers and sausages to the coal’s “inside the BBQ”,it is big enough to hold 4 large burgers or 6 smaller ones, sausages will be able to hold a fair few. the design is not to bad but you will soon notice that with a bigger BBQ and a larger family of guests you would need more than 1 of these.
Quality for me though is below what i would expect, the rack is decent but the handle is at best sufficient and at worst a burn issue, you are required to slide the ring down to open the rack to let your cooked food so make sure you have a set of heat proof gloves/mitts.
The handle is also not the best, it has a wood insert that does not quite fit it correctly so this can fall out.
For the price this is very competitive, but in build quality less, so is a 4 star product as it will serve a purpose come this summer.
As well as a grilling basket for meat or fish over a BBQ, I got this for making toast over an open fire when camping. I has a fairly long detachable handle so you won’t get burned and it’s easy to flip over to cook both sides. The only problem I have with this really useful item is that one of the thicker metal pieces on one side has come loose so the structure is a bit wonky – still seems to work though. I like the fact that it comes in a carrying case. I’ll keep this in my camper van and look forward to using it at camps.
Handy folding bbq griller thingy.
Looks like stainless steel throuought, so easy in the dishwasher. The handle squeezes in. The two parts hinge, but on hinge separates, but the other doesn’t. I guess you can open one slightly so it can be taken apart for cleaning (not that it needs it), or push it closer so that it doesn’t come apart. It’s not a big deal as you have to try to take it apart, it works as it should. Bag is handy for storing away. I would say this is as described.
Good quality item which will make cooking fish over the BBQ so much easier. You could put anything in this and just flip it over without chasing things like those lively sausages all over the place. Makes life so much easier and safer. Love it and can’t wait for BBQ season to start.
This is a shallow BBQ grill rack that has many uses. The rack also comes with a basting brush and a case to keep it in.
As the rack is shallow it doesn’t hold thick cuts of meat like chicken breasts or thick sausages but is good for things like vegetables, thin burgers or steak.
The rack can be used on the BBQ, under a grill or you could open it out flat so small items don’t fall through the gaps on your BBQ.
The handle of the rack locks closed so you can turn the food over without having to turn each individual item or items falling out but i found the locking process very hard as the 3 bits need to be completely lined up.
This is a very useful addition to a BBQ. It makes turning batches of food so much simpler. It’s obviously best if the food items being cooked are fairly uniform in thickness. Although you can use it with most food, I find it works especially well with fish, particularly whole fish, like mackerel.
The basket is supplied with a sturdy carry case. That’s fine before the BBQ but afterwards you need to at least wrap the basket unless you want a very messy case! There’s also a silicone basting brush included. Attaching the handle requires some pressure to flex the arms into the holes on the basket. Once in place, the basket is firm and steady. With the food in place, the basket is hinged closed and locked. You will need gloves or similar when unlocking. A little disappointingly, the handle is wooden. With sensible care I doubt it would catch fire but a silicone coated metal handle would be far superior.

This is a really handy item and easy to clean too. I’m forever losing meat into my BBQ flames and this is a really useful tool which saves the day! I like that it comes with a pouch for safe storage and that it’s not massive, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space in my shed. Very happy with this, bring on the summer!
