Unless you live in a tree and bug free area then this is essential. Easy to pull on and off. Big plus is the dark colour means the sun’s heat is absorbed through the cover so the water is warm.

This is a brilliant cover. Fits well and has a fair bit of over hang. I don’t use the rope that comes with it to secure it as I found bungi jumps worked better. If it is raining we have to carefully pull the cover over the pool to get rid of the puddle that forms but that is a minor thing when you take into consideration how well it fits.

Had this for a year now and it is only just tearing up its been a life saver on my pool kept it clean for months with using this chlorine a net a pool vacuum and of course the pool filter I’ve not had to constantly empty and refill the pool I’m about to order another now as these rains have been hard on the cover and stretched it out too much and I’ve ended up ripping the edges trying to pull it tight…
Right onto cover number 2 lol let’s hope this one lasts just as well

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAs always, you get what you pay for and in this case, it’s a super little cover. Ever so slightly oversized for our 3m/118″ pool but unless there’s more than a stiff breeze, it’ll be fine. I’ll edit this review if I remember to confirm whether it aids in heating, but as it’s so dark I can imagine it will, on warmer days.

Thicker than a cotton sheet, thinner than the pool sides but to put it in place the thickness made it reasonably easy for one person with a stiff back in shoes that could’ve been more sensible to wear for such a task (2.99 supermarket flip flops with the addition of morning dew on grass is never going to end well)

The inbuilt cord could do with being elastic as tightening it isn’t terribly practical, and equally, if the cord exit & entrance was on a corner rather than one of the long sides, that would make for an easier life, but hey, no one can hear me grunting from here. Perhaps the makers are in cahoots with the bungee rope company to make you buy one – bit like the makers of hot dog sausages and hot dog buns – you never get the same amount do you?

Now it’s on it reminds me of a rubber fitted sheet of that helps with the visuals. No, not those visuals.

I’d buy it again and it’s worth it for the reduction in pool skimming/lost wildlife to drowning. Let’s see what the cats make of it though. Oh crikey, I’d not thought of tha

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAbsolutely delighted with this purchase.. Must admit looking at the picture I thought I had bought the wrong (recommended) cover for the pool but turned out a lot better than expected.. A little bigger than the pool so no pulling and stretching into place, reducing the risk of rips and stitching tears. No air holes to let any debris in. Best part it became a heat conductor from the morning sun keeping the water from going freezing cold overnight. So just a little top up from the hot water tap and the kids spent another whole day in it. Made from a great thick quality material. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceeded my expectations!!!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI purchased this to go over a Chad Valley inflatable pool and it fits great.

The issue with mine is that it fits so well that it seals the pool to the point it gets very hot under the cover. It will heat the top part of the pool so make sure to stir the water every now and then, but it will also cause your pool to get soft like a melting effect. Every time I looked inside my glasses would Steam up, it gets that hot between the water and the cover.

I am now thinking to get a sturdier pool, non inflatable one to go with this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Serves the purpose

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersVery good cover as described. Seems durable. I bought it for pool size 305 x 183 and its large enough to cover. Please note it’s not fitted so will sink a bit. Little tip put something in the middle between the pool and the cover like long piece of wood or a pole, that would hold it above the water.

Good sized PVC cover sheet for a small paddling/swimming pool. The only issue I have with it is the cord to hold it in place is very fiddly to use and you need two people to get the cover lined up and then secured. Getting the cord in place means trying to get it under an already filled pool. Water is kinda heavy on a 10′ pool!

But it’s cheap, functional and achieves its objectives so fair enough. It will sag badly if rained upon (no surprise) and will not put up with cats walking on it at which point it becomes a colander. I put a wooden plank under it to stop said 4-footed beasties ending up wrapped in plastic and the whole lot ending up in the pool. I also had to put weights all around the edges to keep said furries from getting between the cover and pool and getting into it for a swim (ours love water) and getting trapped.

The cover has a rubbery feel and fits nicely over my Intex frame pool. There is a tie that threads through along the bottom to keep the cover in place however I have found that even leaving it untied the cover does not blow off.
After using for several weeks I have seen that one of the seams along the side has split so I need to get the duck tape out. It’s not a major issue for me as the cover is still useable and I can see it being ok to pack away for next year too.
