I’m always looking for ways to protect my GoPro during my outdoor adventures. This waterproof case gives me peace of mind, whether I’m hiking in the rain or snorkelling in the ocean. The included accessories are a bonus, and the floating handle is a lifesaver. It’s a must-have for any GoPro enthusiast.
I’ve taken this waterproof case on several snorkeling trips, and it’s performed admirably. It keeps my GoPro safe and dry, even at depths I wouldn’t dare venture myself. The included accessories are a nice bonus, and the floating handle is a reassuring safety feature. The case itself feels sturdy and well-made, and the buttons and controls are easy to operate underwater. It’s a bit bulky, but that’s a small price to pay for the peace of mind it offers.
Having always been a bit of a daredevil with my GoPro, this underwater housing was a no-brainer. The first thing I noticed was the solid build quality, it felt reassuringly robust in my hands. Taking it for a dip, I was genuinely impressed with how easy it was to use the camera’s controls underwater. The included filters made a world of difference to the footage, bringing out the vibrancy of the underwater world. The floating handle grip was a lifesaver, ensuring my precious GoPro didn’t become an artificial reef.
This case is far better than I expected it to be. The addition of the colour correcting lenses is very nice. The case is totally waterproof, at least at the depths I tried it (deep end of a swimming pool) but I intend to test it properly when I go scuba diving. All the attachments are fully compatible with a GoPro (I have the Hero 12) and I especially like the anti fogging strips that are included. For the price, you get a quality waterproof case rated to 45 metres deep, 3 colour correcting lenses, anti fogging strips and accessories; this represents great value for money when comparing to the well known brand. Highly recommended!
As an avid diver, I always want to capture the vibrant colors of the underwater world. This waterproof case and filter set have been a great addition to my GoPro kit. The case is sturdy and keeps my camera safe, and the filters make a noticeable difference in the quality of my photos. It’s given my underwater photography a real boost.
This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. Below is my own real-world experience of using it.
In terms of quality, all of the components appear to be well-made – the plastic parts are robust and feel durable. The waterproof housing in particular stands out, because it is both dense and watertight, matching the quality of the original manufacturer’s item. Though the floating handle feels a little on the thin side, it is buoyant, and effective at keeping the camera out of the water.
All of the screw handles are accurately cut, and thread through the camera’s mount without any issues.
As noted in another review, the back touchscreen does not function whilst the case is on – I believe that is because the plastic puts too much space between the finger and the screen, so it cannot detect any input. It would be best to ensure that the camera is set up the way you’d like it, before putting it in the case.
The colourful filters are an interesting feature, I’m not sure I will personally use them, but they’re neat to have.
In summary, it is a very comprehensive kit that will provide lots of creative possibilities with the GoPro, at a reasonable cost, vs. the OEM parts. Recommended.
Fits my GoPro fine. Case is reasonable quality. The floaty (handle) is cheap and lightweight – but all of these handles are exactly the same. You can buy better handles. The coloured filters are good but don’t fit the OEM GoPro case -they only fit this case which is a shame.
Says 21 in 1 but 12 of those are the anti-fog inserts.
This fits perfectly and gives me the confidence taking my gopro out deeper with me. I really like the floating grip. Everything fits as expected and i can’t wait to use this some more. So happy with this so far.
Background: I am new to sports cameras, and their equipment. ish. I used to own an Apeman and have used that with a case once or twice. (I only used it once or twice because it was a nightmare pressing buttons like I’m doing morse code).
This item:
Fits my GoPro Hero 10 perfectly. Is waterproof as I found out testing the floating capability of the handle. I was sceptical, but with the weight of the camera AND the case, I didn’t know if it would float – it totally does. There was about 2-3 inches of handle above the water. I am glad the handle doesn’t unscrew and become some sort of storage!
I know that the Hero 10 is waterproof to 33ft but I am more concerned if the tabs at the bottom snap off etc, or I drop the whole thing and it lands further than 33ft down… I’m a snorkeller so that’s going to be tough! With this if I drop it it will float! And until I get used to the fittings and flaps etc, this is a great beginner kit for me.
The case thankfully has a clear glass-feeling lense cover – which I am glad, because I have caused scratches on the housing quite quickly wiping it over with my top and t towel. I think I have also caused micro scratches using my sweatshirt to ‘polish’ the coloured lenses, which feel to be a sort of synthetic material. I don’t think the camera will detect any tiny scratches that close up when filming etc.
I didn’t find the poly carbonate case functional in swiping across the screen of my Hero, so that is a limitation there.
