Value for money? A resounding 10 out of 10.
This is a great little LED light, its easy to use with two dials on the side, and one button at the back, allowing you to switch between any hue of colour, to and tone of white, to some preset options such as rainbow, and fake “TV” colours, the battery life is alright, only lasting about 20 minutes at max on full brightness.
The screen on the back shows you the battery remaining, and the brightness percentage as well as hue tone,
the magnets integrated in the back of the led are more than strong enough to hold the weight of the LED and to hold it stead.
But be careful as on max brightness it does tend to get very hot.
This is perfect for photography and videography the various settings and what they describe are perfect and look exactly how you want them for film and stills, can’t reccomend enough
This video light from K&F Concept is excellent and so much better than using ring lights. It’s lightweight and compact, so much more portable than a ring light set up, and its magnetic surface means that you can attach it anywhere where there is an appropriate metal surface.
This video light has cracking functionality for such a small unit and can throw out a lot of light. Its functional usability is enhanced because of the different light options, temperature, saturation and effects. This is being used to photograph products for sale online and it provides everything needed to make a perfect product photo.
I’m very pleased with this and it will be getting a lot of use. It’s especially good because it can be used cordlessly with the rechargeable battery. Worth the money in my view, for a well made, easy to navigate bit of quality kit. Five stars.
I’ve found this portable camera light to be incredibly versatile for my photography and vlogging needs. The various modes and effects allow me to get creative with my lighting. It’s easy to adjust the brightness and color temperature to get the perfect shot. The battery life is impressive, and the magnetic back makes it convenient to attach to different surfaces. It’s a great tool for enhancing my photos and videos.
Despite this light is seriously tiny and lightweight, it throws off a ton of light, ideal for brightening up selfies, vlogs, or even small studio shoots. And, the magnetic back lets me stick it right onto metal surfaces for easy positioning, no stands or clamps needed. Beyond just regular white light, this light has a whole rainbow of colours to choose from. I can pick a solid colour or cycle through different effects for a creative touch. It’s fantastic for setting a mood or adding a pop of colour to my shots. The colour quality is fantastic too- the colours look super natural and accurate in my photos and videos. This little light comes with a diffuser for softer light, and it even has a built-in cold shoe mount so I can attach it to my camera if needed. Moreover, the rechargeable battery lasts for ages.
I’ve got loads of K&F stuff and I’m really happy to add this little RGB light to my arsenal.
I do already have a few lights just like this one, but I’ve found the large turnable knobs mean you’ll get to the mode and brightness you want significantly faster than with the tiny little buttons you tend to find.
These lights can get VERY bright for their size and are advertised with a CRI of 96+, so the quality of your colour can be trusted.
There’s dual 1/4 screw adapters, one on either end in case the knobs are covered by another accessory. There’s also the requisite cold shoe mount.
You do get a tiny little USB cable to charge the light with and a little lanyard.
This compact, portable light has been a game-changer for my studio setup.
The 360 full-color range is impressive, allowing me to dial in the exact hue and saturation I need for any scene. With 21 different light effects, I can easily simulate various lighting conditions, from a flickering fireplace to a pulsating police siren, adding depth and drama to my content.
The color temperature range of 2500K-9900K is perfect for matching the light to the time of day, ensuring my videos have a natural look, whether I’m shooting at dawn or dusk. Plus, with a CRI of 96+, the colors in my footage are vibrant and true-to-life.
What I love most about this light is its magnetic back and the included lanyard, which means I can attach it to any metal surface or hang it for overhead lighting. It’s incredibly versatile and has become an indispensable tool in my creative arsenal.
The built-in LED screen and scroll control make adjustments a breeze, and the USB-C charging is convenient and fast. The battery life is also commendable; it lasts through long shooting sessions without needing a recharge.
In summary, the K&F Concept RGB Video Light is a robust, versatile lighting solution that has elevated my video production quality. It’s a must-have for any content creator looking to enhance their visual storytelling.
This K&F Concept RGB Video Light is small, lightweight and bright – at 5,600K it measures 60 Lux at one metre. It has the industry standard quarter inch BSW tapped holes on the top and bottom of the unit so that you can mount it on a camera cage or tripod and, it comes with a cold shoe adaptor so that you can mount it directly onto the top of your camera if you wish – it only weighs 127g so it is a lot lighter than most flash units – but it is large enough to create light that is not too hard.
Additionally, it has a pair of strong magnets in the back so if you want, you can stick it to anything that is ferromagnetic such as an iron post or the filing cabinet. There are two knobs on the side as well as a button on the back – the orange one. The buttons on the side are for: selecting a mode; and, changing the value of a parameter that you select using the orange buttons. On the back is also a small readout so that you can tell the value of what you are changing – knowing the colour temperature is particularly useful; and, a USB C socket for recharging the battery which you can do whilst you are using it so if you want to increase its life for a longer session, you can run it off a mains charger or a D-Tap block.
The modes are: continuous-spectrum light – the orange button selects between colour temperature and brightness; RGB colours – the orange button selects between hue, saturation and brightness; and, special effects – the orange button selecting which one and brightness again.
The continuous spectrumruns from a colour temperature of 2,500K to 9,900K. The hue goes from 0 degrees to 360 degrees (the same colour) and it lets you carry on around so if you are at an orange – say 15 degrees – and you quickly want to get to a purple – say 345 degrees – you don’t have to go all of the way through the rest of the spectrum in order to get there.
The special effects are Flash, TV screen, candle, flame, police (red and blue), ambulance (just blue), fire engine (just red), various strobes, chase – cycling through the RGB spectrum smoothly at different speeds, a number of fireworks, club lights and finally, a romantic purple.
This lighting unit is particularly useful for because of its RGB, its compactness and robustness. Additionally, it is small enough to slip into your pocket and it even comes with a small lanyard.
I have had many instances where I am taking photos or recording video with my camera and the light fades making shooting more challenging. This K&F Concept camera light is very compact and surprisingly bright on the higher settings. It is supplied with a charging cable, wrist strap, cold shoe adaptor and instructions. The user interface is very easy to navigate with two side mounted dials to control brightness and colour/temperature settings. An orange push button on the rear of the light is used to select the required operating mode.
It has a 1/4″ fixing point on the top and bottom for attaching the cold shoe mount or for using it with a tripod or lighting stand. There is a small rear display which shows which mode and the level of brightness which has been selected and power remaining/charging status. It does feel well made and the dials are a good size making them easy to operate. There are a selection of lighting pre-sets available to use including candle light, lightning, strobe and more. The light can provide 2-8 hours of use from a full charge depending upon the setting and power level being used.
In summary, I like the modern looking design of this light and its ease of use. It is in my opinion reasonably priced when taking into account the range of settings, brightness and quality. It is sufficiently compact to fit into my my camera bag without taking up too much space and can be very useful for a variety of applications where some additional light or lighting effect is required. Recommended.
This is an incredibly well designed and well thought out LED camera light. The versatile settings ranging from changing brightness to changing colour temperature means you can take the perfect pictures and videos every time. This is a must have product for any budding photographers and or videographers out there.
Very good quality Magnetic RGB Video Light from K&F Concept made from very good materials and will last a long time if treated correctly.
I have to say I am very impressed with this light so far it has exceeded my expectations, I have been using it mostly for product photography.
The light is small and very lightweight made from hardened plastic, it is small enough that it can fit in your pocket, so will not take up much space in your camera bag. It only weighs 0.32 kilograms so it is prefect if you want to use this with a gimbal where every gram of weight counts.
Very easy to setup/use, two knobs on the side will be used for most of the functions and there is one button on the back of the light you use to switch so you can adjust the brightness. Its just a case of turning the knobs its that simple.
Has a temperature range of 2500K to 9900K which will cover you for almost all situations, the light is brighter than I thought it was going to be and the colours are bright and vibrant which is exactly what you would want from a RGB light.
Has two 1/4″ screw holes so it can be attached to a tripod/light stand, arms etc also comes with a cold shoe mount so you can connect it directly to your camera if you choose too which is a nice touch.
My only grumble is the magnets on the back of the light this is a great idea BUT the magnets are not strong enough to hold the RGB light weight as I often see the light sliding down slowly on what I have connected it to but for me personally this is not a game changer BUT something to keep in mind if this is a feature you plan on using a lot.
Overall I am very happy with the magnetic RGB video light it is a very good price at 29.99 and I would definitely recommend it.

A mini light like this has so many uses. They are great as on-camera boosts, fill lights or even accent lights in a scene. This RGB option is light and affordable so how does it compare?
Firstly, it’s super easy to use. There are 2 dials – one for mode. There is a separate button on the back to scroll through sub-modes, like the effects. And the the other dial adjusts whatever mode you are in – like colour temperature or brightness. It’s one of the more intuitive setups I have used.
It’s a all plastic build. It feels quite cheap, but it’s very functional. The light is plenty bright, and there is good colour temperature range. You also get 2 1/4 20 mounting holes and they give you one 1/4 20 to cold shoe adaptor (which can be used to mount it on your camera, as one example). The also give you a charging cable and wrist strap.
Overall, I really like it. I would have liked it even more if they had female cold shoe mounting options on the light so that you can attach a few together or a side mounting 1/4 20 foe the same reason but its a minor gripe.
To be clear, it’s not in the same league as some competitors when it comes to brightness, but those options cost 4 times as much, so my rating reflects the price to performance that you get rather than purely performance
This a great little video light with very versatile features, and is supplied with a USB type C cable, lanyard, and a cold shoe attachment for a camera. The light has two ” mounting holes one at the top and the other at the bottom so it can be readily mounted into a standard tripod with other accessories mounted on top if required. It is rechargeable so can be used without power once charged, and comes with an LED display which shows the mode that is set, the battery level and as well as other read outs depending on which mode it is set to. There are three modes to choose from and by using the lower knob you can select either CCT, HSI or EFF modes.
In CCT (correlated colour temperature) mode, the LED shows either the colour temperature or brightness, and by pressing the red button you can toggle between the two. The upper knob is then used to change the settings, so for colour temperature it is possible to make a selection between 2500K and 9900K and the specific white colour can then be viewed in the screen. Similarly the brightness can be changed from 1 to 100%
In HSI mode the selection options using the red button are for Hue which ranges from 1 to 360 and therefore provides for a very specific colour, Saturation ranging from 1 to 100%, and brightness ranging from 1 to 100% also.
In EFF mode there are 21 different effects (F1 to F21) to choose from which are again selected by continually pressing the red button until the specific effect is found. The effects provided vary, but include for example flash, chase, strobe, as well as ones to simulate police, ambulance, fireworks etc.
So overall this is a versatile video light with great built-in features to allow for very creative video production and I would consider it to be very reasonably priced.
I’m a big fan of K&F Concept products already having a number of their photographic products that I use pretty much every day on my cameras, so seeing that they do portable video and photography lights I was happy to trust them enough to give it a go.
This cracking little light is the size of your hand (even smaller if you have big hands like me!) and so it’s the perfect light in terms of portability and travel as I like to travel light with as small a bulk as possible
It comes with 2 x1/4″ holes for attaching to light stands or tripod mounts which makes it superuseful for taking off camera (something I always recommend to anyone using video lights for the first time)
For a light this size it puts out a really great amount of light and so that means you can bounce the light off a ceiling or wall to give it an even softer diffused look.
You can dial in your colour temperature and match it to your camera settings – easy peasy!
You can also dial in the amount of brightness so you can absolutely nail your exposure and picture which ultimately is the whole point of the light in the first place.
There are a number of light effects like strobes and police flashing lights etc but personally speaking I’ll probably never use any of those but they’re great to have just in case, and I”m sure others will find these fun and extremely useful for filming their scenes (especially if they’re filming a narrative film or music video)
The fact its magnetic is fantastic as again you then mount by just sticking to something metal off camera and controlling your light that way – that’s the one feature I was really hoping for and here it is
Overall this is a belting little video light, where you can dial in your colour, brightness, attach it to a tripod stand or lighting stand or stick it somewhere magnetic- and it has the different effects too as a bonus
Highly recommended bit of kit once again from K&F Concep
In A Nutshell: This compact light offers excellent brightness and colour control, effects, and build quality, but with limited overall light intensity.
The Bright Spots
Excellent build quality with intuitive controls.
Wide colour temperature range (2500K-9900K) with high CRI for natural light.
Versatile with HSI, CCT, and EEF modes for colour adjustment, temperature control, and 21 special effects.
Compact and lightweight with a built-in diffuser, magnetic back, and cold shoe mount for easy portability and use.
Good battery life (around 1.5 hours at max brightness).
The Blind Spots
Not the brightest light, particularly on higher colour temperature settings.
The Verdict
The K&F Concept RGB Video Light is a feature-rich mini marvel for photographers and videographers. The intuitive controls, excellent build quality, and wide colour temperature range make it versatile for various lighting needs. While definitely not the brightest light, it excels in portability and offers a good array of effects for creative use. Those needing a high-powered light source will want to look elsewhere, but for those seeking a compact and feature-rich option, this is a fabulous choice.
This little light unit has a very impressive array of features !
You can adjust the colour of the light through the entire visible spectrum, along with the light intensity, you can also change the colour temperature all the way from 2500k – 9900k. It also has 21 different flash / fade features which would be perfect for creative videography.
It’s a nice compact unit with a built in rechargeable battery, charged through a usb-c socket with the supplied lead.
It also comes with a small metal hot shoe connector that can be plugged in one of two std 1/4″ camera sockets, that also allow it to be mounted on a tripod if needed.
There’s also a lanyard and it has a magnetic back too !
The lighting selection is made with two smooth easy to use knobs on one side, and an additional ‘K’ press button on the back.
It’s also got a small but very clear lcd screen on the back that shows what settings you have as you cycle through them.
This is a great little unit and would make an excellent addition to any photographer or videographers kit bag !
