A great product. Looks very cool and modern, love the material, strong and sturdy just the way a great product should be. Does not stain easily at all, no mess involved, very easy to use infact. Cheap and cheerful. Loved that it was also packed really well. Definitely recommend, its here to last for a long time. Great colour and fun to use. The kids love it, keeps them busy and an a very interactive mood.
These lcd tablets are so good. You’d think that with all the different devices available to children these days, something that doesn’t have music or sound effects, or animated characters wouldn’t be of any interest to children but my grandchildren love them.
My 2 youngest grandchildren aged 4 love to play with this. We play a game where we draw something and the other tries to guess what it is before we finish the picture. It’s so nice to have them sat next to me while we play the game.
They are lightweight and easily fit into a bag to take out with us if they need something to entertain them.
They are so simple to use and the pen has its own storage so hopefully it won’t go missing.
It’s battery powered but from past experience the battery lasts for a decent amount of time.
It’s a simple idea but offers quality bonding time along with helping little ones to get used to holding and using a pen.
It’s suitable for most ages as the games played can be adapted to suit your child’s abilities, so it’s not only suitable for my youngest grandchildren but also the other 2 aged 6 and 10. Drawing and writing on this appeals to them more than using pen and paper.
I’ve no issues whatsoever in awarding this the 5s it deserves.
So easy to use by little hands. Light in weight and beautifully designed with no sharp edges. Keeps toddlers so content and magic for them when they see their work coming alive.
very fair price.
This IPad for children is of excellent quality, lightweight, easy to take anywhere, excellent gift option, easy to use, good size, looks attractive, brightness, works well, versatile, great value for money, it is the easiest way to entertain a child and I highly recommend it.
This dinosaur drawing tablet is a nice size, and lightweight.
The screen measures 12cm x 17.25cm, whilst the item measures about 18.5cm across (from end of nose to end of tail) x 27cm high (from tip of horn to base) – and he’s about 1.25cm deep at the thickest point (front of horn to back of unit). My digital kitchen scales have him weighing in at just under 150g (reading wobbles between 147g and 148g).
The stylus has a clip that slots into the side of the dino, and also has a hole in the end that could be used to attach the pen to the board with a cord (not supplied). There are two small holes in the tail of the dino and one larger one at the base (probably a better location for a left handed person) that could be used for the other end.
It also comes with a small blue rubber piece which looks like a dolphin. I can only assume this is to be slotted onto the stylus to encourage a child to hold it properly.
The battery compartment on the back is screwed in place (takes a 2025 battery which is installed), and there is also a sliding switch to stop the accidental deletion of the work in progress. There’s a button on the front which clears the screen when the switch isn’t in the lock position.
I removed and replaced the battery cover using both a 1.5mm and 2mm Phillips screwdriver (not provided), but would recommend the 2mm as the better fit. Getting the battery out was a struggle, due to what looked to be excess plastic at one point (marked on photo). Having got the battery out I struggled to put it back due to the same spot, so I carefully trimmed it off. You do need to slot push the battery in towards the screw side first, as you need it to push in a contact plate (marked in photo).
These are a modern take on the Etch-a-Sketch that was around when I was a youngster, but is much lighter and more compact. Whilst I doubt they’ll last as long, the price (currently 8.99, but with a 50% off voucher also in place) means it’s an inexpensive alternative.
This is a very inexpensive drawing board that allows you a mess free surface on which to write something temporary.
It is powered with a very small flat cell battery, but it doesn’t need the battery for most of the time, just to erase and reset the surface. This works quite well and there is no messy chalk or potential colour from whiteboard markers.
However, as far as these products go, this is quite basic. At the very least for such a small one, it would be better to have a lanyard to keep it linked to the surface. But overall this is still a good package.
Listed Price when I reviewed it: 8.99

This is a cute little dinosaur writing tablet which lightweight , easy to use and great for taking on long journeys or to keep the children entertained without making a mess. The tablet has a stylus on the side of it which slides on and off of the tablet. At the top of the stylus there is a hole and I would recommend threading elastic or ribbon through the hole and securing the other end to the hole at the bottom of the tablet so that it does not get lost if it is dropped.
On the back of the tablet is a lock/ unlock switch. When locked the picture on the tablet can not be erased . This is a great feature as little ones can get upset if their artwork is accidentally deleted. When unlocked if the one button above the screen is pressed the screen clears. The writing / drawing on the screen makes a rainbow effect.
This product is easy to use for youngsters as it only has one button .
This review is for “VISATOR LCD Drawing Tablet For Kids Toddler Dinosaur Toys for 3 4 5 6 7 8 Year Old Boys Girls Birthday Gifts 8.8″ Writing Tablet Drawing Pad For Kids Doodle Pad Drawing Board Travel Toys For Toddlers On Plane”. I received this item for free as a Vine Voice, but that does not influence my reviews which are my own honest unbiased views based on my direct experience with the product.
I really like this writing tablet. It has a fun design with the green dinosaur frame, and is chunky enough to be easy to hold. The pen is quite thin but there is a rubber pen grip which can be added to make it easier for younger children to hold the pen and write/draw accurately. I love the fact that different colours appear in different parts of the screen so you can draw rainbow coloured pictures.
I love using this as a teaching aid where I write a word and my son copies it, or playing word hangman, or drawing mazes, or playing three-in-a-row, or just letting my son doodle or write. There are loads of possibilities for fun and learning and it is so easy to wipe the screen clear with just a press of the button. If my son does something he is especially proud of he just locks the screen and I take a photo of it before wiping it clear again.
The price at time of review was just 4.50 – showing a discounted listing price and a 50% voucher – this is tremendous value for money. Even without the 50% I think it is great value, and gets my five star rating.
This board is amazing my baby loves it as she’s just learning to draw. She loves the fact that she could use this easily with no problems, she loves when the colours just pop on the screen.
This LCD drawing board is so great for entertaining kids in the car or while waiting anywhere – it’s compact and light enough to carry around, but sturdy enough to handle being jostled about. The temporariness of the drawings is a big plus for reluctant artists, too – my son loves being able to start again if a drawing doesn’t go as he planned. Overall, I think every kid who loves to scribble should have one of these!
This is a nice drawing tablet thats so easy to use. Anyone can use this it’s that simple. Can draw what ever you fancy.
Well made and decent size too.
Gets 5-5. I’d get again for sure.
This simple product provides lots of fun for my younger daughter. There is nothing to set up; it runs on a single CR battery, which I guess will last a long time as it’s only used to clear the drawing space (just guessing here). The pen works well, and the colours look very nice. Of course, you can’t choose where each colour will appear, as they have their own dedicated spaces on the tablet. Drawing is effortless, and clearing the drawings with a single press of a button is just perfect. Quality-wise, the tablet’s build is nothing special, but it works well and is worth the money, especially if you can buy it with a discount like the current 50% off.
This is lightweight and robust as already dropped and it’s in perfect working condition. The pen isn’t attached so be careful it’s not lost, however any object can write on it. The pen slides on to the side of the unit.
If you have drawn something you want to keep on the screen you can click the bottom on the reverse and it will stop anymore being drawn on it, however it can not be saved like a photo as no memory etc (not that I expected it to, just thought I’d mention in case you thought it could be)
This wonderful dinosaur drawing tablet has a discrete button on the back go stop accidental button pushes causing your little darling’s masterpiece to disappear.
We had a lot of fun drawing bears with the pen. The included silicone grip-aid is perfect for little fingers to help guide a perfect writing position.
Also, I have no idea how this works, so we decided it was magic.
Slight negative, fingermarks are unavoidable. Try not to press on when you’re resting your hand on it.
Perfect for kids.
Beautiful cartoon design, I love the pen holder – easy way to not constantly loose the pen. I love the colourful display and the erase button works really well. It goes very smooth on the screen.
Size is good, and my 2 yo daughter loves it. Even though it is saying it is for kids 3yo +, my little one loves to scribble on it.
It is definitely an upgrade to the old style.
This is a great toy for little ones up to older children. My toddler loves scribbling a drawing, pressing the erase button and starting again. She is just learning to press more firmly to get a thinker line.
It is nice and light weight, great to tuck in the changing bag for when we are out and about. The stylus can be clipped onto the frame, but it woukd be better if there was a string as well so it doesnt get lost.
The dinosaur design is engaging and there is an optional little gripper to make the stylus chunkier for little hands, but this slowly slips down with use. The design means it is aimed at younger children, but the older cousins who were visiting also picked it up and enjoyed doodling more intricate designs. If I was buying for older children, I would get a plain frame version, but it kept them occupied while they were here.
