Not the greatest movie ever made but a must have for Brandon Lee fans.This is a standard Hong Kong movie of it’s time a bit grainy but great action,a story of betrayal and vengance.The blu ray transfer is good but not the best but still better than anything previously available.

Totally awesome movie, its just a shame that we didn’t get see Brandon Lee in any other Hong Kong action films. This movie had it’s fair share of fights but the end shoot’em up is spectacular. Lee driving a jeep with his foot and unloading a Spas12 on the baddies….. sign me up!!!

best this film has ever looked and great job by Medium Rare. Sadly the English dub is not the one we are all used to from previous UK VHS releases, would have been good to include that for the fans.

All in all, Great film..great quality!

Brandon Lee plays Brandon Ma, a regular guy working in Hong Kong, who is set up by his drug dealing best friend so he thought. Michael(Michael Wong, KNOCK OFF, ENTER THE EAGLES), to take the rap for the murder of an undercover corrupt cop. Michael also has eyes for Brandon’s girl, May(Regina Kent). While Brandon languishes in jail, May gives birth to their son & flees to brazil to avoid the lurid clutches of Michael who has always lusted after her, who has become a big crime boss. Brandon gets out of prison after eight years, learns the truth, and goes after Michael for revenge.

bit the bullet on this as this is the only blu ray available world wide.only gave 4 stars as the extras are not great,i was hoping for some maybe rare stuff or something like the bruce lee releases,but just a picture gallery.transfer is a true HD not an upscale,and at last the full uncut release.this is more a john woo type film than a out and out martial arts one.
but Brandon’s raw performance shows the talent and charisma which was taken too early.
one for Brandon lee fans and for action fans alike.

Just a quick few words on this Blu-ray. The transfer looks very nice, much better than the DVD releases. This is not an upscale, it is true HD!. Some scenes look a little soft but I think that is down to a little DNR!. Some scenes are grainy which mates it look great!. I cannot comment on the DVD as I have not played it.

*Also worth mentioning is that this is the uncut version, contains the 2 second neck chop that was cut by the BBFC on previous VHS and DVD releases.*

Special Features only consist of a Stills Gallery. This is the first ever Blu-ray release of this film (worldwide).

A note to none UK people, this disc is locked to region B.

I wasn’t to sure about this movie when i bought it, but after watching it i was greatly surprised. it kept me entertained and the performance of Brandon Lee was amazing he brought great emotion and fighting to this role. This movie show that he was a great actor and he could handle the action has well. I my opinion this i a great movie and i def must have for brandon lee fans. the story and acting was great and this is a nice treat to enjoy of hong kong fans and lee fans. The only problem was the english speaking gave me a headache so want i perfer was watching it own lang and putting english subtitles down and that was helpful.
Brandon Lee really shines in this I love it.
