Thankfully, there are still games out there that kids get attracted and show interest to and Lego is one of them.
Luckily, there is often a new set of Lego coming out so it keep their interest high.
This set ,as expected from the brand, comes not only with good quality and well detailed Lego pieces,as well as surprising features.
I love the idea that you can build a Lego toy that can actually do movement such as shooting.
It challenges their imagination, creativity and the satisfaction is also high once the toy is finished.
Depending every one’s skill to build the Lego ,but we found it as medium difficulty.
Great as a birthday present, can’t go wrong.

This lego has a total of 289 pcs of different sizes, the instructions are clear and easy to combine. The assembly process is interesting and challenging, allowing people to fully experience the joy of hands-on work. I like turrets that can rotate and fire. Pressing the turret’s switch will release particles, and there are also heavy armored doors with triggers. In short, this is a high quality product that has high value both for display and as a collectible.

Good set, a lot of tiny details make it far better value than it would seem judging by its size. It’s got 4 figures and the machine gun can shoot out LEGO pieces as well as the gate can be opened or closed. Great fun for all the family, but I would suggest it for kids over 6 years old. As always with LEGO, quality is excellent. Highly recommended purchase!

Lego, eh? Is there really anything left to say about it? This latest release from the company will be something Lego fans themselves will be interested in and also Star Wars fans, either though they may have no interest in Lego itself; they just collect Star Wars stuff.

Including Paz Vizsla defending his base from Moff Gideon and the Praetorian Guards, this set has more than enough to keep everyone happy. The armoured door and rotating turret all add to the excitement and the green stud shooters on that turret are great fun. Just don’t lose them as we, or, to my immense embarrassment in front of a six year old, rather I, managed. The character weapons are also impressive and the whole thing can be connected to the Mandalore cave.

Yes, it might look expensive, but Lego doesn’t come cheap and the value is in the amount of play the users will get from this. And it helps their imagination run wild.

On the box it suggests for age 7+, although many 7 year olds will struggle with it, as construction takes a long time and much concentration. For the 9 year old LEGO fiend I gave it to, however, it was a hit, despite no particular liking for Star Wars; the pleasure was all in the assembly, and he had no problem with the rather dull colours. Assembly is in three main stages, each stage’s materials being packed in a separate bag. The instruction book contains over 100 illustrations, and a full parts list is included, with part numbers. Enthusiasts will love it – the casual fan may find it rather daunting. (The pieces would be better kept in a box once the bags are opened to avoid losing any of the large number of mainly small pieces) I’m waiting to see the finished construction.

I have always been a massive fan of LEGO, ever since I was a small child, over sixty years ago. My older brother and I, had quite a large sized suitcase full of the stuff, that we kept at our Gran’s house to prevent it being chewed or even swallowed by my two younger brothers who stayed at home with our mum. Happy days! I just wish I could say the same thing about Star Wars. To be perfectly honest, I’ve never even seen any of the films. However, my oldest son, who is now a dad himself, and is a massive Star Wars fan, and also a big fan of Lego, so I know he will be absolutely delighted when he gets his hands on this fantastic quality, Star Wars Lego set.
    Very happy to recommend

Juts when you think that Lego/Disney/Star Wars couldn’t possibly think of another set to combine on this comes along. To judge by my 12 year old son’s reaction there is still an appetite among buyers for them.

This is aimed at kids (or adults) 7 years + and my son at his age and being an experienced builder had it built in minutes. You can look at that two ways; 1. younger builders won’t get frustrated by it, however 2. there’s no challenge or sense of accomplishment to the building element of it, even for younger children really.

As with Lego’s current trend there’s no indication as to how many pieces are in this set that I could see, but there aren’t that many. You do get a few spares, which is always a bonus. the build instructions are, as to be expected, excellent. Value or rice per brick has never bene good with the tie-ins so if they are what interests you then you have to judge the value in other ways.

What my son liked about this set were the following features:
It’ can be combined with another (smaller set), which he now wants to buy (smart move that Lego!)
The sliding (up/down) door has a clever mechanism to enable it to stay in the raised position.
Lego have done something clever with the firing of the gun part in that the little plastic bullet bits now go in vertically and have a different firing mechanism.
He really liked the 4 mini-figures included in this set.

Overall this is not a bad set, especially as smaller film tie-in ones go. There’s quite a lot of playability for the size (rotating and firing gun turret/lifting door) and the mini-figs are good. If Star Wars is your thing then this is worth considering.

4.0 out of 5 stars A decent Lego Star Wars set for the figures and a few new features
