This is brilliant! I got it at same price too and I couldn’t be without it now. I love how I can easily see more than one screen (saves toggling) and also I can read notes I’ve pre-written whilst in team calls and no ones even aware 🙂
Firstly this is a great monitor for work and gaming (1440p). But it has some weird quirks. The worst is there’s no auto switching on the input. I use the monitor for work and play from different computers, and have to manually switch inputs, which doesn’t even have. shortcut button. It’s. strange omission which drives you mad after a while.
I ended up getting a Displayport switch but it’s an extra expense.
Ive been running dual monitors for years and liked the idea of curved screen
How right I was out of the box and so impressed.
after a mild panic thinking you couldn’t dual screen I fell on the info and downloaded the software to allow never mind dual screen but practically any permutation.
It really does come in to kits own when on single screed and catching up on prime Netflix etc
I love the seamless look and bang up to date
I’ve honestly been surprised by this screen. I have it stacked above my Samsung Ultra-Wide 49″, which was able to be mounted easily and didn’t require much setup. My plan was to only use this as a third screen to keep my calendar, emails and task manager visible at all times, but I’ve found it is also great for streaming webinars and L&D videos.
While I can’t speak for the gaming aspect, I can say this screen has been great for work, learning and productivity
Bought this monitor to improve my work. I mainly work on Excel for most of the day and this monitor has really helped as it can show so much more than a standard monitor.
Because I was not using for gaming etc I wasn’t too worried about some display specs and more interested in getting a decent sized curved screen for good value. This ticks all the boxes.
Just one point, the stand doesn’t allow you to adjust the height of the monitor from the table.
Such a great deal on a huge widescreen monitor. I got a new MacBook Air and it could only connect to one screen and this is the solution! Easy to set up, replaces the need for 2 external screensI don’t know what I was waiting for! This is was the same cost for a 34″ Dell monitor?! Love my new WFH set up
Great screen came well pakaged with nice base stand and very easy to mount on a monitor arm if you prefer, I have bought to of these and stacked them on top of each other as my side monitors, really great screen for working from home as lots of room for lots of diffrent windows and open at once and good 4k qulity with pretty good speakers as well,
the reason this is not 5 star for me is:
Only 50hrtz with HDMI on both my pc and laptop with 2 diffrent cables one been the one it came with and one i bought from amazon just a bit frustrating when it advertises 75hrtz
doesnt auto change input when i switch from hdmi 1 my work laptop, to my personal PC not a major thing but would be nice to have rather than need to press the button, I plan to buy a hdmi switcher to fix this
wish it had 24/7 stand by max is 8 hours,
One thing to note about this is if your using a HDMI cable make sure to enable the HDMI compatible mode in the settings otherwise it wont be the correct reslosuion not sure why this isnt auto enabled on them took me ages to figure out why my screen was streched until i enabled this thought it would be good to note incase anyone else has this issue
I use this screen for work rather than for gaming. My mac only allows me to connect to one external monitor rather than two, but the size of this screen means that it’s like have 2 monitors as I have multiple windows open and visible at the same time.
For the price this is an excellent optio
I recently purchased this monitor (34″, 100hz | QHD, No speaker model) for 271.28 / 311.25, on the 3rd of October, it said it would arrive by the 10th-16th yet it arrived on the 6th (so 4-10 days early, UK to Ireland), personally for the current price of ‘379.42’, I wouldn’t recommend it, I’d wait for it to go on a discount so you could swipe one up for ~300 like me,
my first impressions were quite solid, easy installation, good brightness, screen area and colour accuracy, when I first turned it on everything was stretched which was normal, it took me a decent while to configure it, I needed to switch it to the recommended resolution of 3440×1440, set the refresh rate to 100Hz and in the downloadable onscreen control app set the brightness to 100 contrast to 60 black stabiliser to 0 and the Adaptive sync to either off, basic, or what works best for me visually; extended,
(This may vary depending on whether you’re using Windows like me or not)
keep in mind that changing any of the listed configurations may or may not result in screen stretching, black bars etc, just play around with the settings until you find the ones that suit you best, with my current config there is no screen stretching or low resolution
It came with a HDMI and Display port cable
for anyone with tight spaces, the full dimensions of the monitor are
Without stand: 81cm in length, 36cm in height and about 4cm in depth (screen curve accounted for)
With stand: 81cm in length, 48cm in height and 23cm in depth
note: some games may not support wide monitors like this one like GTA V, if you want a normal experience in GTA V, you will need to play on these settings:
Screen Type: Windowed Borderless
Resolution: 3440×1440 (will depend on what resolution you’re running at)
Aspect Ratio: Auto/What works best for you
Safezone Size: about less then half
I recently purchased the LG UltraWide Curved Monitor 34WR50QC, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Here’s why:
Great Height & Lightweight: The monitor is perfectly elevated, making it comfortable for long hours of work or gaming. Plus, it’s incredibly light, making setup a breeze.
Plug & Play: I connected it to my MacBook Pro M1 through a docking station with a Display Port, and it was literally plug and play. No complicated configurations needed!
Stunning Resolution: The 1440p resolution is nothing short of amazing. The colors are vibrant, and the clarity is exceptional.
Fast Delivery & Excellent Seller: The seller was not only responsive but also ensured quick delivery. I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the entire process was.
MacBook Pro M1 Compatibility: It worked flawlessly with my MacBook Pro M1, making it a versatile choice for Apple users.
In summary, this monitor has exceeded all my expectations. From its top-notch features to the excellent customer service from the seller, it’s a 5-star product all the way!
